Hi I am Babu from Manavalakurichi, Kanya kumari dist. we are continuosuly facing one phase low voltage and power cut in our place.I called Manavalakurichi EB office so many times but they are not at all picking up the call.Today 6 Am gon power. I made a complaint to the line man and I didn't get a proper response from him. Could you please take a quick action about the issue .

    Sir I`m running a ssi unit near sivakasi ., exactly at vadamalapuram village which comes under thiruthangal EB office control. Mine is a seasonal business .I grinde charcoal for fire works requirements. As this is off season and also the climate is rainy our business is on holiday till deewali. When the unit is in working, our clerk use to note the EB reading daily as to calculate the EB units consumed daily. Since it is leave, we do nothing and now your people came for take reading and found the meter not functioning . Hence they insist me to pay the previous bill, which is too high ( peak season). As a evidence you can refer the past 10 years statement for my EB bill after Deepawali, it will be only minimum . Also my unit is under cc Tv survilliance for 24 hours, and hence I can prove you that no work had been done for nearly two months. I request your self to look into the matter and immediately and do the needful to me. Thankyou.

        Where are we and our government servants?

        Providing helpline numbers are just for name sake?

        Today faced a worst reply by responsible TNEB complaint attendee when I was about to raise a complaint for a Power Cut at certain area (Around 40 to 50 connections) Almost 300 meters no street light and it was dark.

        It was about around 7.30PM to 8PM. When I called Kavundampalayam TNEB office complaint number[protected] no one has picked the call. It was about 10 to 15 times. It was ringing but no one has picked the call. Inbetween it was busy for 3 times.

        Then tried to escalate to Coimbatore Circle FOC[protected]

        The person has given a irresponsible answer that there is no problem at Transformer, might be in main line, will lineman will be coming in the morning and cut the call. (Paravaala Sir, ippodhaikku yaaruma illa, lineman kaalaila vandhu sari pannuvaaru)

        The only doubt is tomorrow is Sunday. Whether he will come or not?

          This is the very very worst experience with TNEB Redhills. If he is not ready to take the customer compliant and listen to the customer Query then the person should not be in the post to answer it. I am really fed up with the answer and the words which the person as responded. I am filling a compliant against TNEB. I have all the proof and video coverage how the JE is responding the public. He might be in any post but the response should be in proper way and the words he is using. What ever might be the angry he is in the response he is giving should be the proper way. If I am not going to get any proper response from any one. My legal advisory will take the necessary action. He is working with TNEB he is not the CM to speak like he is owner of Redhills. If am not going to get the any response the words he used in the Redhills EB office. I will do some thing and for sure i will right the letter to police station and raise a compliant against him. If ladies reaches the TNEB. He has any right to speak??..

            I am living in a rented flat. The EB reading is not yet taken, the last reading was taken on September 2014, now it is December 2014. Since it has been three months ever since reading has been taken the reading is more than 500 units now. And it seems I will have to make more payment if the reading is taken now. Pleas take necessary steps possible. Customer no. :[protected] Area code : 09 - Chennai south Service no. : 214:008:4033 I though the reading might not have been entered in the card but must have been updated in the TNEB system. But I found that in the online payment portal of TNEB also the due is nil.

              Dear sir, we give the complaint on 12-11-14 regarding the meter is not working the sembaium office. For the service number 065.011.1857 on that day they told that meter is not available. Still no one visit the your home if my father ask for the person to check not working you have to pay the amount for the digital meter for the fault replacement. why we have to pay for the meter fail. we had to ready as soon as possible.                 Dear Sir, On 10th December morning (around 10:45am) the meter reading staff visited our house in Balaji Nagar at Alwarthirunagar. It was drizzling and the gate of our house was locked from outside by my son. I requested the staff to open the gate and come in to take the reading after handing the key to him. For that, the staff began shouting at me in an uncultured manner. This has not been the first time that the meter reading staff are behaving in a rude manner. The meter reading staff, expect us to open the gates immediately after they knock. We are not sitting in home idle. So it will take time to come and open the door. Even if we come a minute late, they used to get irritated and be harsh with us. Taking meter reading is part of the job. However, their attitude is such that they are doing some favor for the residents. I would really appreciate if you could guide the meter reading staff to be courteous and show respect to the residents. Furthermore, if they maintain a standard date and time for taking reading, it would be really helpful for the residents. Looking forward for you to take action in this regard.                 I had launched a complain against the discourteous behavior of EB staff. Instead of calling me for an enquiry, all the important EB officers came in person to my house for knowing the issue and solved the matter. The EB officers listened to my issue very courteously. Furthermore, they apologized for the discourteous behavior and also ensured such incidents will not happen in the future. I am terribly impressed and was surprised. It really created a great feeling about the EB officers. I am really thankful to all.

Instead of calling me for an enquiry, all the important EB officers came in person to my house for knowing the issue and solved the matter. I am terribly impressed and was surprised.                   I am the tenant of the above tariff of Mrs. Usha Rajkumar. Due to medical ailments, i will be able to walk only with the help of a walker and that too only inside the house. My above metre was changed in the month of July 2014. Before changing my consumption amount used to be below Rs. 2000/. Now after changing the metre it is exceeding Rs. 2000/- though the usage equipments are as before - Fans -4 Tube lights 4 Nos Daily, Fridge 1 Daily, Grinder 1 - only one day during a week, Mixi 1 daily, washing machine 1 once in two days and TV - 1. Especially during the past two months when the climate was cool, no fans were used, but the amount for the period upto 16/11/2014 has come to Rs. 2415/- I am very much shoked in this instance. Please check up and do the needful from your end for correcting the discrepancy if any. Thanks, Yasmin Muneer

                      I am Veeraganesh staying in 30, Munuswamy Street, Avurikollaimedu, Manali, Chennai-68., in our area stay wire is cut due to the heavy rain in today early morning so the wire is cutted but the small wire which it is placed in the floor is giving support when the wire is cut it will fall into the Hd line then the post wil fall down so please take the immediately...by today itself

                        Power failed on 03 Dec and TNEB Keelkattalai office was infomed over phonphone. Again on 04Dec complaint was registered in person. Visited their office every 2 hours only to be told that it will be attended soon. At 9:00 pm when the office was contacted by phone they promised to attend 05 Dec morning 6:00 am. Third day without power, God alone knows when power will be resumed.

                        Hi all my name is vinoth am staying in ambattur. Sir, past few months EB man's shutdown the power supply at daily night for minimum 2 to 3 hours hours or mostly no power. If we asked the reason for this; they responding daily transformer burning; how the transformer will burn daily(there is no logic). If its really burn daily means see how they are working in EB department. If they need to shutdown the power; why should they didn't use day time. All the people and small children's are suffering lot due to this shutdown. Some times no one is picking the call. I have complaint many times in this complaint box but still the problem is not solved. Can you please take any action for this

                          Service No. :[protected] Name : S.LAKSHMANAN CHETTIAR Address : No.60, Bharathiyar Street, Arappalayam Cross Road, Madurai. Dear Sir/Madam, as referred to the above service number we are residing in this house for rent. Last month (September) bill was Rs.947/- for consumption of 350 units. But this month (November) bill has been exceeded to Rs.2530/- for consumption of 620 units. Its more than double the amount of last month bill. Meter used is Digital Meter in our connection. I dont know whether the reading has been taken wrong or the meter is faulty. If you check the service details of this current year, it will not exceed 400 units. Since I'm just a average salaried person, I'm not able to pay this much amount. The last date of payment is 19th of this month (19.12.2014).                             In kulathur, Gandhi nagar 2nd st Chennai-600099 (backside PNR EB) My consumer number[protected] During recent rain in Oct.2014 the above st.cable connection having three houses was burned and temp.arrangements were made by giving over head connection by purchasing cable in open markets due to stagnation of rain water in the street and not able to dig the grounds.Till now no cable fault is rectified even to complaints given in person or over phone. Kindly take speedy action to rectify the problem as the rain water on the grounds were gone.

Dear Sir, Sub: Excess meter reading-correction requested Wehave our land in the above address, this place is vacant and no activity is taking place, only one watchman is there to take care of the property for the last one year. The place is provided with ordinary L.T.Power supply having meter no3331027. This connection was given from[protected]. Since there is some fault in calculating the amount arrived for payment of Rs4496 showing the meter reading of 530units .This place is provided only with one tube light connection, this can be inspected in person at any time. Due to faulty meter the consumption is showing very high. This was also pointed out earlier and amount paid on[protected] according to bill. We request to rectify the defects and to inform the correct amount to be paid towards EB charges for the period from[protected] to[protected]. Thanking you,

                                Dear Sir, Two street lights(143 and 144) near the below address are not working for the past few months. Thirunavukkarasu C P, No: 383, 1st Cross Street, 8th Block, KKD Nagar, Chennai - 600 118. Already a bike has been stolen because the area is very dark after evening.                                   My Consumer No: [protected], Consumer Name: MAGESWARI Consumer Address:Chemponkarai i have paid amount RS 610 on 11/10/2014 evening on online transitions . And also direct payed by cash Rs 610 to EB office. Two Payment is done.But by cash payment is generated but on line bill is not generated.stil now not tansfered money to my ACCOUNT...
