Hello Madam, I am staying in Jegajeevan ram colony, Selaiyur 20th Ward. WE are facing severe low volage problem. We have raised many concerns with our counselor and Electricity persons. They are not ready to irrect transformers at our area. Simply saying there is no space to errect. WE have told them to errect in front of our home. They are not ready to do that. Request you to take immediate necessary action to resolve our issue.

      Our service no is.[protected]. We have 2 separate rooms in upstairs. We had not used AC for nearly
      25 days last month but the bill is Rs.8140 We had paid the amount this month also the bill is Rs.10500. So u please
      take steps to check the meter and do favour for us.

      I'm Dinesh residing in Plot no 8A n B, G3, standard enclave, bharathi nagar,
      semmanchery, Chennai -600119.

      i'm using a/c (per day 6hrs), i do not have any other major electronics in my house.
      i got bill of rs5700. i think our meter indicated fault reading.
      Please intervene and help to check my meter if it is really indicating fault reading
      kindly replace the meter as early as possible.

        From V.Ravi L.I.G 93 16th cross st Nolambur Chennai-37 To AE., EB office Nolambur Chennai -37, Last month 16.06.2014 Metro water work done in our street. Unfortunately JCB person was cutted my EB ground cable and took EB person to given temporary line in EB post to main board for single phase instead of 3 Phase. Then we are spoken about metro water person, they said EB person will done 2 or 3 days later. After 3 days we called that person they are not pick up our call .So we are given oral complaint to Nolambur AE Directly 4 times and spoked in phone more than 10 times. There is no response on our side. Kindly take action and complete this work as soon as possible.

          In our area street light has been not working while for a long days, nearly 1 and half months. we complain our station for many times, they not respond properly. It is not safe for the people living here.           I have been telephoning both morning and evening to No.[protected] KK Nagar Station - for the street light not working for the past 5 days. They have been delaying taking action saying some excuse or other. It is not working.

          Post No.762 - Vaigai Colony 2nd street, 12th Avenue, Ashok Nagar, Chennai.


          In the dark lot of notorious activities are taking place. Chaiin snatching also happening.

            I tried [protected] several times but there is no response. In my area half of the home no power. Some time the power will come and left. Only half currently only provided. Some houses get full current. Winter sessions started loose connection in wires. In thirunagar eb is the worst electric city board.

              We are kindly informing that our service no.[protected]-coimbatore region-tiruppur circle-bridgeway colony section.

              That our service no. Reading has been taken on 04.07.2014 for the past bi-monthly consumption. We have informed that the consumption for the bi-monthly is about 5120 units.

              We are surprised to that our average previous 11 readings was only about 1393 units. We donot understand how sudden increase in the units.

              The same complaint has been informed to the consent office orally (Not in writting).

              Pls advise for further proceedings.

                  Sir, I am K.Sankar from Bankman Colomy, Alamelurangapuram, vellore, vellore dist.my consumer no is[protected].My house was locked from 15 april to 15 june its is vacant. But they charged rs 1060 by putting approxiamate of meter reading 410 unit stating that the meter was not working which I cannot understand. Last time I paid rs 30 only as we are not stayed regularly there.This is totally injustice by putting some approximate meter reading and giving problem to the consumer. Pls look in to the matter and do justice. Take this as compliant and solve this problem.

                    I regularly pay my EB bill in on line only, last bill i paid on april'14 was not received by TNEB & my connection was cut, than i paid the bill amount in EB office i asked the bank customer care deprt, they told the reimbursement will be given after getting the money from TNEB till date nothing was happen. This month i paid my EB bill using credit card was also kept pending on 7.7.14 & i asked the bank side they told the TNEB received the money on 8.7.14 but i gone to eb office & o asked them the bill status was still un-pay ed & pending so i need to pay the bill in office to avoid cutting my power This was reputedly happening, worst service provided by TNEB, If you can pls guide me how to recover my money.

                      My EB service Number Was[protected]. Sir I was paying the Eb Payment without arrears . Then how come there was a arrears for sum 0f Rs 3308.                           Dear sir We are residing at LIC nagar, madipakkam. For the past 20 days we are facing very very low voltage. Even the fans and lights with electronic choke is giving 25% of power. Electronic items like fridge and washing machine work very rarely. Air condition has not worked for the past 3 months. When ever complaint is made. They say that they have problem with transform and new one has to come. Now for the past 20 days, we are Facing very bad situation. At least 10 times we have power cut daily and their is no proper response from the department. Most of the time EB department phone is engaged. When we go in person to complaint, the concerns person are always not available. Kindly look in to it and arrange for a new transform

                              I have paid my Electricity bill online on 07/07/2014, using my debit card, for Rs. 2733 INR.
                              The above said amount has been debited from my account, but i have'nt received any receipt for the payment that i made. Instead the website shown a message that said, process not completed due to a wrong operation.
                              please check with your server and make my payment through. or kindly return the amount to my account, so that i can pay it again.

                                  Power Connection Number: 257/814/136 On 10/6/2014 the electrician Mr. Kannan from TNEB Substation Nehru Nagar installed a new digital meter after taking back the analog meter. Meter reading on 10/6/2014 as per analog meter was 54625. The same reading was recorded by the electrician in our EB card. But, while updating in the office database the meter reading entered was 54675, which resulted in extra 50 units in our power consumption bill. The new digital meter was installed with a reading of 6 units. Later, the meter reading was taken by the TNEB people for the bimonthly consumption on 24/6/2014. The reading recorded and updated in our EB card was 210. ACTUAL bimonthly power consumption as on 24/6/2014 is detailed below (in units): Analog meter reading on 10/6/2014: 54625 Analog meter reading on 19/4/2014: 53820 Power Consumption: 805 (I) Digital meter reading on 24/6/2014: 210 Digital meter reading on 10/6/2014: 6 Power Consumption: 204 (II) Total bimonthly power consumption (I + II): 1009 Bimonthly power consumption as on 24/6/2014 as per the TNEB bill is detailed below (in units): Analog meter reading in database on 10/6/2014: 54675 Analog meter reading in database on 19/4/2014: 53820 Power Consumption: 855 (I) Digital meter reading in database on 24/6/2014: 210 Digital meter reading on 10/6/2014: 6 (TNEB did not deducted form the final reading) Power Consumption: 210 (II) Total bimonthly power consumption (I + II): 1065 So, I have to pay an excess amount of Rs. 322/- due to the above miscalculation. When I represented this issue to our Nehru Nagar TNEB, They told they can't help it. So, I humbly request your personal intervention in this issue and kindly solve this problem. Yours faithfully S.                                     No:18, raniammal house, Anthoniar street Charleshnagar, Pattabiram, Chennai-72. Sir, I am living in the above mention area for over 1.5 years. There is always low voltage and fluctuation in power supply in our area.Due to the lack of maintenance the particular above mentioned area experiences the power shut down. Due to voltage fluctuations my laptop got problem. It is happening 4 to 6 times a day. some times the power shutdown last for over 1 hours, So please help us to solve this problem immediately.                                       One Phase is not working & Low Voltage Problem

For the last two months one phase is not working in our house and we have given complaint so many times till now no response from the concerned authorities.
