Dear sir, I am the resident of Gandhi Nagar Adyar and am a senior citizen. We in this area, are facing constant power failures and when we try to contact 044=24913001, it is always busy and the reason they give us is they attend to the complaint calls. Four days back we had power failure from 12 in the midnight till next day morning 6.30am, I would have made atleast 150 calls that night. Even now the power is not there from 10.30pm and the time now is 11.45pm. I had tried at least 25 calls but no body bothered to attend my call. This is a serious thing which might force people like me to approach CM's cell and the concerned department secretary. Your action is needed in this. Even the AE is not approachable. Thanks.       Dear sir, We have paid the money and given the application for electric connection in Hosur, now 3 months completed but we did not get any connections. When we are asking the concern officer, he is telling no meters available in Hosur. We are living more than 600 families in Annai Nagar, TT Nagar, SN Nagar near Vikkas Nagar in Hosur More than 50 families yet to get the electric services. We struggling with senior citizens and children in dark at daily night, nowadays robberies also started in these areas, request to take needful action as soon as possible. Hopefully we are waiting for the immediate action.

        Sir, we are facing the too much voltage fluctuations and frequent power cuts at night times and, because of which the AC and washing machine turn faulty due to low voltage, when checked with electricians, the Voltage is 160 and keeps fluctuations with that the electric equipments became damaged. please treat these complaints we all in the Ram nagar north & south extentions nagar facing the same problem and many events of euipment failure due to low voltage.

          Pink fitness is an organization in periyarnagar Chennai past 4 days in our office, one phase not function compliant given on14.06.2014, so many times still problem not rectified. So many clients fainted because of no AC. At Periyarnagar EB they informed that their are no staffs and will come and do it with in one day after that we went and ask them not at all giving any response till now. pls take this complaint and take necessary action.               We are residing at ekkaduthangal. We are facing frequent power cut issues for the past one week. Everyday around 7-8 hrs we face power cut problem.. kindy help..

              Frequent power cuts at velachery during nights

              Very frequent power cuts during nights occur in velachery vijayanagar. When EB office is contacted they say transformer has burst. In a week atleast Once such an instance occurs. Some serious action is required.

              In the place of v p chindhan st, kamban nagar, madhavaram milk colony, chennai-600051 the street light post safety stay wire disconnected, this is caused to the post falling down, please take safety measure to avoid accident.thanking you

                Iam a resident of Kodambakkam Parangusapuram. Yesterday (June 15th 2014) our power supply was shut by 9pm. Even after countless number of complaints the response to the complaint was damn slow. by 1 am we received the supply and when we enquired about what was wrong and why our street keeps facing this trouble every single night the lineman's reply was shocking, not only was he rude but he threatened to cut the supply again if we keep asking him questions. What kind of behavior is it? By 2 am again power supply was hindered but this time it was just our building and another building nearby. Our area AE NEVER attends our call 90% of the time our local EB station also does the same thing. Everytime we ask them the reason they keep telling cable is at fault, we have been receiving the same answer for 1 1/2 years without any permanent solution for this. With the Hon' CM promising uninterrupted power supply is this what you do?? 15 hours of power shut in KODAMBAKKAM (heart of the city). Irresponsible replies, ignorance, arrogance, never provide permanent solutions is what your department does causing physical and mental torture to the public. We would like immediate PERMANENT (change of cable) solution to our issue. Regards Concerned Citizen

                        About fuse removal in home

                        We went to overseas to visit our son for just 1 month, we even pass the EB note card to our neighbour, but while the respective personnel came for EB reading they didn't care and just requested to cut off the power supply. This caused a lot of inconvenience to us after we return back . We are promptly paying EB bill for the past years and The department need to take immediate action on this .                               Hi Sir/Madam, Consumer Number : [protected] Consumer Name : M. Sivanesan Consumer Address:Flat No.5, First Floor, Block No.C, Verdant Acres, Plaza Building, Perumbakkam Excess Meter reading has been taken in the month of March Bill. The Excess Meter reading Letter had given at Sithalapakkam branch on 26Apr and 13 May 2014 as Reading on 29Jan 4170 and on 29 Mar 4415. The March'2014 month bill had come 92, 247.50 rupees and it shown as 16230 units consumed. The guy who had come for reading has been taken incorrectly or he has not aware of taking the reading in digital meters. The actual reading is 245 units for march month. This is a normal house on an average for the past 3 years we consumed only 250 units for every 2 months. We have been submitting letters to TNEB office at sithalapakkam branch but there is no action from them. Also, we have submitted complaints in online as well, but there is no response from TNEB department. Could you please take this into account and forward it to the necessary departments ASAP. Your help would be much appreciated. We have tried almost all the options to reach TNEB but there is no proper response from them. Thanks

                                  Respected Sir, As announced by our honourable chief minister that there will be now power cut from 1st of June in Chennai. After that announcement there are more frequently power cut in Chennai. What is the value of Chief Minister announcement. Yesterday (12.06.2014) at Chromepet East New Nagar the power cut starts from evening 6pm to early morning 4.30am. For every 10min there is power cut. What will happen to our house hold articles.                                   Revered Sir/Madam,
                                  This is with reference to the Power failure yesterday afternoon ( November 20, 2014). Despite of our complaints to the respective AE and the Line man at Tondiarpet Electricity Board, the complaint remains unattended and because of this the Toddlers and the school goers who is preparing for the exams have been affected due to the utter negligence of the respective officials of the EB. It is regret to inform you that the complaint is still not attended and unaware when it will get resolved.
                                  It would be of great help, if you enlighten me on resolving this issue to get rid of this extensive issue faced by us at Tondiarpet,

                                      We are facing huge power fluctuation problem from 11/06/2014. We have made the complaint and till now it is not rectified. Who shall take responsibility, if any fire accidents happen at our home. We are not aware whether the complaint itself is taken into consideration/registration. Each time when we call them, they say that they will come. Frightened to use the electrical items we have switched the main off. The same is happening at MMDA colony.
