Sir, we are facing the too much voltage fluctuations and frequent power cuts at night times and, because of which the AC and washing machine turn faulty due to low voltage, when checked with electricians, the Voltage is 160 and keeps fluctuations with that the electric equipments became damaged. please treat these complaints we all in the Ram nagar north & south extentions nagar facing the same problem and many events of euipment failure due to low voltage.

Pink fitness is an organization in periyarnagar Chennai past 4 days in our office, one phase not function compliant given on14.06.2014, so many times still problem not rectified. So many clients fainted because of no AC. At Periyarnagar EB they informed that their are no staffs and will come and do it with in one day after that we went and ask them not at all giving any response till now. pls take this complaint and take necessary action. We ( 100 families under Baby nagar association of Velachery) are facing severe hardships due to Low voltage or no electricity after 9pm in baby nagar 1st main road velachery. This has been happening for more than two months now. Please do the needful.

I am mohana, residing at door no.10, kannaiah naidu street, kondithope, chennai-79, it is a power cut from mid night 1'o clock to till now. So many times i had complaint to eb office but still the problem has not rectified. So please help... Most urgent

Iam a resident of Kodambakkam Parangusapuram. Yesterday (June 15th 2014) our power supply was shut by 9pm. Even after countless number of complaints the response to the complaint was damn slow. by 1 am we received the supply and when we enquired about what was wrong and why our street keeps facing this trouble every single night the lineman's reply was shocking, not only was he rude but he threatened to cut the supply again if we keep asking him questions. What kind of behavior is it? By 2 am again power supply was hindered but this time it was just our building and another building nearby. Our area AE NEVER attends our call 90% of the time our local EB station also does the same thing. Everytime we ask them the reason they keep telling cable is at fault, we have been receiving the same answer for 1 1/2 years without any permanent solution for this. With the Hon' CM promising uninterrupted power supply is this what you do?? 15 hours of power shut in KODAMBAKKAM (heart of the city). Irresponsible replies, ignorance, arrogance, never provide permanent solutions is what your department does causing physical and mental torture to the public. We would like immediate PERMANENT (change of cable) solution to our issue. Regards Concerned Citizen

Dear Sir/Mam, I missed my Electric payment card on the date of 12/06/2014. I went and ask our area Assistant Electric Inspector. He told me give letter. I wrote and gave letter also. Then he said to me you come with your owner, then only i issue electric payment card. My Owner will come only once and the first day of a month. But want to pay the bill immediately. There is many children's and houses near those dangerous post and everyday we are very scary to live with that dangerous post, there is no guarantee for us and our children's lives...please act fast and take action immediately to replace those dangerous electrical post, and save us before any unwanted things happens to our lives. from tharapakam village, sriperumbathur thaluk, kundrathur block, kanchipuram dist. sir ! In this area 400 houses is there, but here the problem is line crossing over the houses, sometimes transformer will be bursting. The electricity department will be neglecting the problem. pls as soon as possible issue our problem

Also noticed that my previous amounts was an average of 800, but this month its increased to 3500. During the month of May, I was out of station for almost 15 days, hence the amount should be lesser than previous months.

Requesting to check the same and solve both issues.

Hi Sir, We are running company in the address, 23, A, Nethaji Nagar, 5th Street, Tondiarpet, Chennai-81. Service No - 12.13.568. We are having 3 phase power in our company. But we faced power leakage in one phase on last monday and we raised the complaint to TNEB which is near to our company. We couldn't run our company for past 5 days. This caused many lose for me. Hi Sir/Madam, Consumer Number : [protected] Consumer Name : M. Sivanesan Consumer Address:Flat No.5, First Floor, Block No.C, Verdant Acres, Plaza Building, Perumbakkam Excess Meter reading has been taken in the month of March Bill. The Excess Meter reading Letter had given at Sithalapakkam branch on 26Apr and 13 May 2014 as Reading on 29Jan 4170 and on 29 Mar 4415. The March'2014 month bill had come 92, 247.50 rupees and it shown as 16230 units consumed. The guy who had come for reading has been taken incorrectly or he has not aware of taking the reading in digital meters. The actual reading is 245 units for march month. This is a normal house on an average for the past 3 years we consumed only 250 units for every 2 months. We have been submitting letters to TNEB office at sithalapakkam branch but there is no action from them. Also, we have submitted complaints in online as well, but there is no response from TNEB department. Could you please take this into account and forward it to the necessary departments ASAP. Your help would be much appreciated. We have tried almost all the options to reach TNEB but there is no proper response from them. Thanks

Dear Sir, The electric post in the service road beside the Tambaram-Redhills chennai bypass road in Tharapakkam village is leaning and might fall at any time. I had registered a complaint for it in Kunrathur EB office. But no action is taken so far. Could you please ask the concerned officer to fix the electric post. Thanks, Balachandar

Respected Sir, As announced by our honourable chief minister that there will be now power cut from 1st of June in Chennai. After that announcement there are more frequently power cut in Chennai. What is the value of Chief Minister announcement. Yesterday (12.06.2014) at Chromepet East New Nagar the power cut starts from evening 6pm to early morning 4.30am. For every 10min there is power cut. What will happen to our house hold articles. Will TNEB will bear the cost of damage. Kindly give respect to the word of our honourable chief minister. Thanking you with kind regards

Dear Sir, Iam really frustated on tamilnadu government, due to Power cutoff in city. Daily in midnight 2-3hrs power Cutoff is taken place. This issue has not been solved by Ruling government. Try to fix the issue as soon as possible.

We are facing huge power fluctuation problem from 11/06/2014. We have made the complaint and till now it is not rectified. Who shall take responsibility, if any fire accidents happen at our home. We are not aware whether the complaint itself is taken into consideration/registration. Each time when we call them, they say that they will come. Frightened to use the electrical items we have switched the main off. The same is happening at MMDA colony.

Dear sir, I have purchased plot no.76, 1 st, Street., Venugopal Nagar, Kattur, Trichy. This is a corner plot with roads on two sides. The road width is 15' feet as per the Layout plan. Since the plot was lying vacant for a longtime the public was using part of the plot as road and the TNEB has erected Electric Post right in the middle of actual road as per the Layout plan. Already the matter was taken up by the Residents Association of Venugopal nagar but no action has been taken so far to shift the post 10 feet towards the storm water drain. As I am planning to construct my house in the plot I request you to kindly arrange for shifting the post at the earliest by about 10 feet towards the drain so that the road is relaid according to the Layout Plan and I can reclaim my portion of the plot.
