Our Meter has been changed with digital one on 02/04/2014 .this month reading has been taken on 05/05/2014 .As of day within 15 days from date of reading usage unit had crossed beyond 200 units which is not at all acceptable according to our usage. when we cross checked with meter after switching of all electrical goods in our home we found that meter is still running.we are middle class people, consider this as a serious issue & arrange to rectify this at the earliest.               Respected sir, I am A.sesudoss, I have got temporary connection and I didn't use it about 30 days, but the Eb man asked us to pay ₹2000. is there any fixed charges for temporary connection ? Or the unit we used, we have to pay...please help me to know about that.

                Sir, I hereby inform you about very low voltage problem affecting severely 100 households in Ambedkar street, Anna Nagar, area under Thiruninravur. Entire street affecting by this low voltage problem. Previous street and next street are having very good voltage but our street alone facing this issue. We usually have this low voltage issue around 5.30 pm to 10 pm after that voltage would increase. But for last one month we are getting very low voltage in entire day even refrigerator is not working. I hereby request you to kindly look in to this matter by contacting respective person in Thiruninravur EB (pincode - 602024).

                I am Uma residing at Madipakkam, Ram nagar South, 6th street, Chennai -91. In our street there is always a low voltage problem even during day time.I am unable to operate my washing machines, even my fridge is not getting cooled.Because of this i am unable to store milk, idli batters, curd which is very basic for working womens like me to move the daily life easier and faster. Already AC board is gone .

                Lights are very dim and Fan will not work faster at all.

                I am spending very large amount everytime to fix the electrical appliances failures because of this low voltage issues.

                Everyone in our street is suffering a lot because of this low voltage problem.

                Please take necessary action.

                        We are having continuous drop in Power (Voltage fluctuates) and casual power cuts (atleast one phase is off in our shop which has only single phase power) in our area for the last 10 Days. Due to the drop in voltage, we have had problems with our electronic appliances. We are unable to use any of our electronic appliances like Ac's and others as it does not work with constant drop in power. Kindly help as its getting really difficult in this Scorching Sun.

                              EB pole is about to fall

                              Near my home(We are staying for rent) there is a EB pole about to fall down. For sure it'll make huge effect if it fall down. In person i went to Maduravoyal EB office and met AE and gave complaint before a month, again last week also i made complaint still there is no response from anyone. I don't know what should i do further to replace EB pole. Could you any one please help on that?...

                                  Hi, I wanted to notify you about very frequent power cut problem in my locality(Thrivalluvar Nagar, 1st Avenue, M5, Thrivanmiyur, chennai-0041). from last 4 days power is going very frequently, last 2 days no power in night, if it will continue like this than how we will survive, how we wil go to work in morning if we wont get proper sleep in night. Calling to EB office kottivakkam is also waste, no proper response form those peoples, phone is always busy, they wil simply put the reciever in hold.                                       Sravishta Apartments, Old#27A, New#75, VK Road, Mandaveli, Chennai-28( Behind Sankara Netralaya Eye Clinic). Connection No 127:25:298 of common utilities( Staircase light& Metro Water Motor) has faulty meter. During April, we had paid Rs 7533 against normal average of Rs2000. We brought this to TNEB Mandaveli attention. Today we found there was nearly1000 units consumption from April 10 to date. We are really surprised. Request you to replace the faulty meter & recalculate the readings.
