    Dear Sir,
    Our service no is[protected] in the name of Mrs. S. Kalaivani. In our house, we are only two members. One is me and another one is my wife. we are working so that current consumption cannot be on full day time.And also we are not having any luxurious electrical appliances in our house such as AC, Refridgerator, wahing machine, heater etc. whereas, I dont know how is it possible to get the current consumption arrears?. As per my knowledge, i think there is no chance for current consumption arrears .So, Please verify this complaint whether it is removable. That amount is very high for me. Most of the consumers in tamilnadu are very poor. If TNEB fixes the payment like this, how can consumers pay the amount. Please notify this sir. Thank you for your valuable service.

      This is the period the 10th Std students are writing their board exams. For the pas 3 days (23.03.2013) our area faces low voltage from 6 PM onwards. Kindly take immediate action, so that the students can prepare for their exams well.

      During Last 2 years the same problem was faced by our street housholds during March, April, May, June & July months. Kindly make necessary arrangements to avoid the Low voltage in our area.

        It fails regularly in the evening hour. low voltage does not permit our fans to operate. It puts us into great difficulties. The children who are going to face their examination the next week are the first victims.it also causes troubles for the all.We, therefore, request you to kindly take early steps to check this problem.         the average voltage in electric line is only about 145v only ... even usage of stabilizer range about 170v-220v... so most of home appliance are not working ... some of them are damaged due to low voltage ...please give line voltage in range of 170-200v ... other butter full shutdown

          Respected Sir: This is Mahendran VP.My address is 2/92, Kottakudi.Sivagngai.My consumer No is[protected].We normally used 100-160 units per month.Last month its came around 260units.Also we pay everything Rupees 150-350 only..But last they made me to pay 900rupees..I never paid this much amount until so far.Anyother formalities to rise a complaint about this issue..so please take immediate action and do the needful to us, .

            My SCNO.151 Aravenu (Kotagiri). The reading taken on 27-2-14 and the reading shows as 700 units consumption for a amount of Rs.2990. But actually the reading taken on 13-12-13 the reading board shows 18890 the consumption o[censored]nit is 460 that comes as follows 18890+460=19350, but the board incorrectly shows as 19590 . It shows 240 units extra. On 12-3-14 again your staff checked the board it shows the reading as 19590, but today 15-3-14 the board shows 19690 as incorrect. In this connection the first and the second digit of the board is not functioning properly, therefore it shows excess unit. Regarding this, the metre board is not working properly.I request your good self to kindly look into the matter and do the needful at your earliest and oblige.

              We had gone outstation for the whole of February and a few days in March also. So my residence at No. 2, G-3, Patel Street, Kodambakkam, Chennai-24 was locked and all electrical appliances (including fridge) had been switched off. Naturally, the electrical unit merter was not running and the EB official who came for reading consumption on[protected] had ERRONEOUSLY assumed that the meter was not working, which is NOT true. In fact, the meter reading that day was 25950 (as recorded by the official) which is 80 units more than the previous reading of 25870 taken on[protected]. I checked today and the meter is RUNNING. I find that the current consumption from[protected] to 01-3-201`4 is wrongly shown as 170 units, instead of just 80 units and so I have been excess billed for Rs. 275. Please see the attachment for proof. I have highlighted the defective entries. I have paid Rs. 275/- anyway today (on[protected] through netbanking, but I request you to rectify the excess billing and not penalise me again due to the peculiar slab system in vogue.

              Hi,

                  I am the owning a shopping complex at 92 vandipalayam road, cuddalore-2. I giving the rent for shops to one Mr.Sridhar. Recently the meter box have been changed on 25.10.14 while taking reading in the old meter 03184 units. (office register entry page 23)When they feeded in computer the have wrongly puts 03284 units. When I have requested above to the sub divisional office, they said that they will correct it while remitting the bill. But they instructed to me to remit the full amount because the last day. And they have ask me to appeal to concernd officers. So I request that the excess amount collected the 100 units, and kindly be refund or adjust to next months bill.

                    Kalliyaperumal (new shop-drawing electricity illegal)
                    As there is a separate Unit for each and every place to draw elecricity and the shop which is situated on the Pondy mailam main road, is drawing elecricity for their shop from their home as they don't have separate electricity unit for their shop.The E.B officers who are responsible for this are getting bribes from them and are lenient with them.i kindly request you to take necessary action regarding this issue.
                    in raman koil village, kadambathur (block), thiruvallur dt... somebody uses electricity illegally in theirs house.. they are using motor pump for water.. they have a meter connection. but, not use meter electricity.. they uses illegally. like, in another house one service electricity connection and connect directly to the main line wires. that is like theft of electricity.. please, action about it.. i believe you will action...

                      Sir, I am residing at Pallikaranai, Periyar nagar, kavimani street, as my house is located at the corner, the EB post is at the corner of my house. That post, along with adjacent 2 posts was broken at the bottom, by the persons who were cutting the coconut tree. When the street people complained about it in the EB office, they just temporarily gave a supporting post, for the post located near our compound wall. Due to many heavy vehicles passing through the road, that post got weak and the position of it is very slanting, due to that the EB wire is going inside our compound wall and touching our building, so we fear to come out of the house every time. We are not able to open the window of the room, as the EB wire touches the window. We gave complaint letter about it many times to the EB, AE, Pallikaranai. But in vain no step has been taken, kindly take immediate action before any unforeseen incident happens. Regarding this we made telephonic complaint to the EB Chairperson office also.many times sent email to eb chairman cell. everyone are deaf to this problem Kindly take immediate action, or else give the details of the person in your department whom we should contact regarding this.

                          Dear Sir, It is noticed that, We are experienced Very low voltage SEB Power Supply at Valantaravai BTS (CC #[protected]. & not able to use SEB Supply as incoming SEB power supply is very Low(only 110-130V in all the Phase to Neutral) Already Letter given to AE/RURAL/TANGEDCO/RAMANATHAPURAM, dated 24.12.2013 Due to that we are using DG power continuously for past 3 Months. So our OPEX is increased due to non availability of SEB. Kinldy look into this issue & take necessary actions immediately Please do the needful Thanking You

                            Sir, I hereby inform you about low voltage problem affecting severely 200 households in Kattanachampatti area under Rasipuram, near salem.Some of the affected EB numbers are[protected], 191, 501, 472, 023, 383, 229, 689, 509, 557. We came to know that the problem is due to 8mm ACSR wire. It should be changed to 6mm ACSR wire to rectify the problem. Irrespective of repeated requests., the problem remains unattended. I hereby request you to kindly look in to this matter by contacting Superintending engineer, Namakkal.

                              My meter reading is 13588 while i received bill for 14580. I complained so many times and don't listen me to and keep sending from one place to another. It happened second time to me. First time i tried all my effort and complained everywhere, nothing was done. Finally they cut my connection and i was forced to pay unjustified bill of 13000/-. They said they will adjust this amount in next bills nothing done on that front. Now i have got another bill of 6670/- for wrong meter reading. I am not ready to pay at all though with no help from them i am afraid what i can do. Looking for some serious help on this.

                                For my service no. [protected]- at Kamakotti nagar -Pallikaranai. I tried to register on line for bill payments. Received a reply stating that it is already registered. When requested, that I am a NEW occupant & Do not know the earlier login/pw details, I got help, to register fresh & TNEB cancelled the earlier registration. After registration they are suppose to send a mail to me & confirm. I did not receive the mail. My mails to all concerned- as per their contact details at TANGEDCO- were returned back without receipt. Do not know what to do. I am 74 years old & cannot go door to door to find out the answer. Srinivasan.

                                My old tenant has vacated and my new tenant wants to pay online. My old tenant already deactivated his user id as per my request, but still unable to make new regn. This user registration is not necessary for online payments especially if it is occupied by tenants. please discontinue this practice. mys ervice no[protected]. please allow me to register new user id

                                  Sub: Request for refund of excesss amount paid against wrong meter reading taken by Shri Srinivasan, Assessor, T.N.E.B., Nolambur Section.



                                  1. I, Smt TharaBai Mohanakrishnan, residing in Plot No 198, 17th cross Street, T.N.H.B., LIG _ I, Nolambur, Chennai 600037.
                                  My Service Connection No is 437: 010: 818.

                                  2. Bi-monthly meter reading for the cycle month Jul 2013 has been taken by Shri Srinivasan, Assessor, T.N.E.B.
                                  The details of Reading/ consumption / CC Charges etc as provided in the `White Card' given to the users has not
                                  been endorsed by Shri Srinivasan, Assessor.

                                  3. In the absence of the above details, I have to rush to EB counter every cycle month to obtain the consumption charges.

                                  4. On Aug 2013, I was shocked that Mr Srinivasan, Assessor, assessed my consumption wrongly and computer showing my consumption
                                  as 1860 units for that bill amount shown as Rs.13, 767.
                                  I have made a letter to the Assistant Engineer, Nolambur about wrong meter reading taken by Mr. Srinivasan. The Assistant Engineer
                                  and revenue Supervisor of the Section has accepted the mistake of Mr Srinivasan, Assessor. They requested to make the payment as
                                  Shown in the computer to avoid disconnection for not making payment by due date, and assured me for refund / adjustment of excess
                                  amount charged by Shri Srinivasan, Assessor.


                                  5. Sir, after a lapses of two months, neither, excess amount paid by me has been received nor adjusted with my another service
                                  No[protected] as promised by the Assistant Engineer/Revenue Supervisor/Assessor of TNEB., Nolambur.

                                  6. You are requested to direct the concern officer/staff to resolve the issues and look into the matter personally to refund
                                  / adjustment of the excess amount aginst wrong meter reading taken by Shri Srinivasa, Assessor within time frame please.

                                    Dear Sir, I am staying at Maraimalai Nagar Kannagi street NH1 and near to my house street light is not working for last 2 months and we have given the complaint to TNEB office but there is no action taken place so far. Due to this problem my Laptop was stolen in my house on 13.12.13 night due to more darkness in the street. Please take some necessary action for the same.
