I am making my electricity bill through online transactions from tneb webpage.. when i login my user name and password it states that, "no records found " for my account.. iam using this for past 1 years and no details are found on my account ie., the added customer numbers are completed erased and no new customer number can be added as it displays "invalid customer number".. take up the necessary steps as possible..

    fix transformer for kallikuppam first main road now they using from the first only one transformer for more then its capacity it gone we reciving very low voltage Low Voltage/Voltage fluctuation Low Voltage/Voltage fluctuation and ups and down every time we reciving only 130-150ac volt it is shame of the electricity department when we asked ai also not responding still yet same dialog we fix tranformer in next week how many weeks gone like this from past years now again same even fan also not running now days fridge not working even we cant use water motor to fill water tanks we should see weather it is running r not r it well burn out bcoz of low voltage address if kallikuppam first main road MuthamilNagar, 1st main road eletricity department and ai is not good there plz take necessary action on it...

    There is terrible voltage fluctuations every night during summers in Sri Raghavendra Nagar Colony, Uppal. In spite of repeated complaints every year, the problem is persisting year after year.

      One of my Relative have complaint against TNEB.

      When the Meter reader visit our house for reading during 6th April, he told to the housemaid that "the meter is not running and the as per the Office computer we charge for 390 Units."

      When I checked the meter, it seems it is not running since December. But the meter reader had adjusted reading and was billing accordingly.

      Most probably the meter reader did not visit the house during December, February and had wrote the reading as per his wish.

      As per them

      6th Feb the reading is 3350 and was charged for 80 units.
      6th Apr the reading is 3350 and was charged for 390 units - and wrote the remarks as Defective Meter.


      But as such the Meter had stopped at 3270 units.

      No A/C in the house and only 2 people are staying the house.

      2 years back the meter has been replaced by them (Feb 2011)

      Again the complaint from their meter and due to their fault we need to pay the extra.

        my self from318, pillayer koil street, sazanganur post, sazanganur, villupurm , tamilnadu.
        We have the problem of low voltage in my house and to my neibours.
        It is very difficult in the summer season. Already there is a power cut for 6 hours a day, the remaining 6 hours we have no proper power supply.

        Because of this problem we are not able to use house appliances which works in current.
        In night time we cant able to see any materials in my house clearly because of low power. and more problems.

          Hi,

          I am living in VijayaNagar, Velachery, Chennai last 1 year 3 months. I am trying to pay my EB bill in online all the times as they are trying to provide a good service. But to pay the bill in online, every time I have to visit TNEB office in velachery with meter reading and I have to request them to add it in online. After that I will pay in online.

          Every time they are giving very good reasons liken no enough resource to take the meter reading, server is not responding, meter reading machine repair and so on.

          Better they can stop online payments and once every thing ready, again they can provide online bill payment. I need to know, the reason they are giving is correct or not???

          Even I told them, if you are updating data in online, you will get very less people visit to TNEB for bill payments!!!! but no response.

            This is kandasamy from pallakattu thottam,d.kumaraplayam, nallamplayam post, dharapuram tk,tiruppur dt.

            I have submitted application new service for my new home before 4 month, i paid amount 18000 rs before 2 months for materials. Koluthuplayam JE and dharapuram AD all visited my place and everything is ok, but i am not able to get anything from them, any response also i am not getting..No Action taken..everything is on hold. also i gave 2000 rs cash to them when they visit.

              Dear Sir,

              Recently I have shifted my residence to Ranga Nagar Extension, Keelkattalai, Chennai-600 117. From that day (Oct 2012 ) till now the power shut down time in our area is 4-6 pm. The cycle has not changed so far only in our locality....i wonder how is that possible...also they cut power during late hours [protected]@ night & we get back power only the following day morning by 8 am or 9 am. this is almost a routine in this area...as usual the EB Office landline no. nver work or it is always busy...but never a customer get a chance too speak but still the line is busy... i don't know you will take care of these... Its just waste of time but still i would like to share my views.... & grievance

                  Hi I am residing in Gandhi Nagar 1 st Street - Guduvancehri. and its 1.30 am where ny child age around 1 year is crying for air, ( fan is nor running due to voltage drop)
                  I am born and bought up here and its almost 34 years now.

                  In My Area ( Gandhi Nagar) i face frequent power cuts, If power is not available that is beyond our control,
                  But whenever there is power we face low voltage, where fan will struggle to rotate and motors for pumping waters will not running.

                  We face this issue frequently in our Area, Could there be a solution ?

                  I know that full Tamil nadu is facing power problem , but if there is power, can that be distributed without any voltage problem.
                  We have requested TNEB - Guduvancheri many times to install a Transformer in Gandhi Nagar 1st Street, but they remain deaf.


                  Now I have my child at age nearing 1 year, and my child is crying for air but the fan is struggling to run ..


                  TNEB staffs please help our locality to be use our electricity Utilities without Flauctions and voltage problem.

                        Sub : Difference in Meter Reading – Regarding

                        I am a tenant residing at the above mentioned address since November 2012. I would like to bring your notice that there was a difference in the METER READING taken on 13.03.2013. Meter reading shown as 37370 on 13.03.2013 and Meter reading shown as 36950 as on 12.01.2013 (i.e., last meter reading), So, the total units consumed last two months is 420 units ONLY.

                        Please note the following points.

                        Our house owner already paid an ADVANCE PAYMENT OF EB BILL FOR Rs. 900/- and it was deducted every two months as per units consumed.

                        In January 2013, the meter reading shown as 36950 ( on 12.01.2013) and total units consumed calculated as 390 units. For this, Amount to be paid calculated as Rs. 1000 /- and We still has a balance amount of Rs. 289/- in Advance payment.
                        So, I paid the difference amount of Rs. 711/- (Receipt no. PGCAXI[protected] through online payment.

                        But, in this month reading, the difference o[censored]nits consumed calculated from the meter reading calculated on 12.07.2012 (SIX MONTHS BACK) and the total units CALCULATED AS 1100 UNITS. So, I have to pay excess amount for units which already paid/adjusted during last six months.

                        So, I kindly request your goodself to do the needful.

                          It is very disturbing and annoying to face reality in a place like Madipakkam, my house where iam rented is situated exactly 100mtrs from TNEB office, but still everyday in the evening my fan itself is not working properly cos of low voltage, having been escalated the issue by email even to CM cell, i didn't get any response, I have been repeatedly calling 155333 EB 24hrs service but still issue is not solved for which my entire family is undergoing suffocation at night and my kids are not able to get up at time in the morning, I very well understand the power shortage, but not even a fan could run and the power is provided for TV is really disgusting, I would appreciate if anybody can help in this regard !!!

                            My current complaint is on TNEB, Parniputhur Office, Mangadu Post, Sriperumpudur taluk, Kancheepuram district, Tamilnadu.
                            My EB Consumer number is[protected] am a tenant, My house owner Name is Mr.Balasubramaniyan. EB Connection is on his name only.
                            Actually in my area every 21st of the month Meter reading is taking by respective person, but for february month to my all neighbour homes meter reading has been taken, but not taken to my hom,
                            So I have called to the J.E contact number that is [protected], and told about meter reading not taken, and asked to update in online, but he said it is not possible, so come live to office and need to tell reading at the office,
                            So I sent my wife to EB office and she went there and told EB reading to the officer, He noted down in a notebook. and said that he will update online later, and he noted down in my EB Card also, From my home there is no more transport facility, so my wife went by walking only for more than 7 kms.
                            But still reading not yet updated in my account, so today also I have called J.E and said about my problem, but he is telling to come again to EB office and need to tell the reading., I asked them to update, because need to walk 7 kms, but he is not responding, he is telling "we dont update, come to office"
                            Kindly take a necessary action and pls tell him to update my Reading That my EB reading is 690.00 unit

                              Hi, My name is Thaj, year 2011 i starting to build my home, EB people ask me to change the previous tariff LA1A to LM51 i did it ( date 3/5/2011 ).
                              the construction was finished In March 2012. then i went EB office i request that people to change tariff LM51 to LA1A but they said to me you have to pay after finish construction first bill then we will change i pay around 1000 RS, but no use then 2nd bill time i ask again again they...

                              Suggestion : Reduce Power in Home.

                              Most of the home all are using the chargeable fan and lights , it was charging at the time of current available and then at the time of power-cut all are using the chargeable fan and lights.

                              When power available , any time the fans and lights are charging , simply they are putting the fan and lights charge . Peoples are do not know the power is enough for the fan and lights.all time the charge is on stage.

                              So in all home we need to use enough power indication system, when power is enough for fans and lights. Green Light is on then peoples are off the switch then we save the power.

                              Conclusion : We need to use indicator for chargeable fans and lights.

                                Dear Sirs,

                                I reside in the 16 avenue of ashok nagar(opp to velankanni school), where we have unsheduled power cuts for the last 4 months. This is apart from the scheduled power cut of 2 hours we presently have here. We met the AE 4 times last month and the EE earlier this month, including a written complaint and we have not got any solution.All the consumers in our avenue are mostly commercial establishments and its taking a big toll on our daily business. Today the power was not there from 8 am till 12pm( while im writing this complaint) in our avenue and we call our AE Mr.Udayakumar [protected] every time but there is no sight of any solution.

                                Please help sirs..

                                  We are running an Internet Browsing Centre in Salem and we are charging the commercial EB Tariff (LT Tariff V: Commercial). We are having SSI Certificate from the Tamilnadu Government for our browsing centre which comes under Internet Browsing/Setting of Cyber Cafe. We would like to know whether we are having subsidy for EB Tarif[censored]nder SSI subsidy scheme, If there, which tariff plan we are under. we want your kind help in this situation of paying high tariff for small business.
