Address: The Assistant engineer Tangedco EB Office , Pothanur, coimbatore 641021

We are working professionals working for a government institution at Pollachi owning a house at Chettipalayam, coimbatore.
Our official working hours starts by 8.30 am and ends at 4 pm - during day time from 7.30 am to 6 pm we will not be available at home and the EB readings are taken in day hours .so most of the months we beg the nearby TNEB people to come and take the reading ..or else it comes as door locked .is there anything that government can do to help working class people with this issue 😔

    Dear sir/ Madam,
    This is vijay from thiruvannamalai district, Mandakolathur village . Pin 606904

    We are facing daily power cut issue here, especially at night time between 9pm to 12 pm, so aged people and children are facing lot of issues.

    We have complained multiple time in EB office, but they don't take any action .

    This issue we are facing last three months. Please help here to solve this ...

          Near my home there is a spark in EB post yesterday 18/5/22 night, already informed Kundrathur EB office, they refused that in night time we won’t work on EB post, because power cut in individual home!! They said will fix in morning, in morning no one picking call from kundrathur Eb office, i reached directly and filed a complaint about power cut issue! They said u can go, will come!! But no come after 2 hours again i reached office, they give one number and said they will come, again 2 hours crossed that call person said in another issue will come asap!! Its almost 15 hours without power in my home, there is pregnant lady in my home!! Its not fair!!! Please someone sort out this issue Asap!!

            Replacement of analogue meter to digital meter.

            Iam rahimudeen s/o khader mohideen, in our location every one is allowed with the digital metter and digital meter had been replaced to all the residents in street, except us, last month in our analogue meter we go shot in the eb input side, after a month of wait period there came to change the analogue meter with demand of 1500 +100 rupees per meter need to paid in counter, after mentioning that we will pay...

                Amount debited twice, but TNEB bill not paid or not refunded

                Hi Team,
                I have performed UPI payment R2.2242 twice (Total Rs.4484) for electricity bill payment, the money debited from account and it was credited into merchant account. But TNEB bill amount not paid due to TNEB/merchant website leads to error page and bill amount shown pending in portal. Money is not refunded to my account or not credited into my TNEB account. When I raised complaint in TNEB portal for the same, they mentioned...

                Dear officer.. my house last reading current bill is more higher than previous current bill, previous current bill was 750/-, and present current bill is 3280/-, how is this possible to get more.. and one more here's power supply is low current for ex 160VAC ..                   Our tneb service number is[protected] . Normally our bimonthly eb bill came around rs 1000 . But the last two bimonthly bills came around rs 2044 and 2440 . No ac units are in my house . We suspect the meter may misbehave .
                  The same may kindly be checked and the problem may be resolved please .

                      I'm Keerthi Priyadharshini Anbalagan, residing at Dog House, 438/2, Sarath Kandigai, Pammadukulam, Red Hills, Chennai 600052, for more than three years now. Our locality faces routine low voltage and voltage fluctuations which have led to many home appliances such as our water motor, ACs and refrigerator getting damaged. We have incurred huge repair expenses as a result.
                      We have communicated this issue to the EB office in Red Hills multiple times but our problems prevail. We are humbly requesting you to look into this matter and help us resolve this issue.

                        I have received an email about my current consumption charges.
                        the mail said that my consumption was only 10 units for two months. But I checked the meter and it showed that my consumption was 374 units. Last time reading was 19310, this time reading is 19684. my consumer no is [protected] and it comes under Cuddalore EDC. so my bill may be modified.

                          We are living in a rented house for the past 11 months, and most of the time we are not available on the house and my work requires outside travel, however the current bill is always 9000 & 5000 when the door is locked and nobody is living on the house, already we have paid 9000 in the month of April and this month the bill is 5400, No proper response is being given by TNEB

                              We complaints from virudhunagar district, Rajapalayam Taluk Nallamangalam Village. We are notified the same problem since past 15 days. Everyday morning 2A.m to 5 A.m or more than 8A.m the power supply will not have in our village. Morning also power will cut down 1 or 2 hours. Please provide the power continuously. We can't sleep because of these kind of power use. Please do the needful. And also check our transformer for the continues power issue.

                                I am getting very high electricity bill for this month which is about Rs. 1978 is more. It appears that there has been an unexpected increase in the bill, because I know that our electricity consumption is not so high. All our previous bills ranged between Rs 850 to 970.

                                So I request you to kindly look into the matter seriously and send your person to check if the meter is faulty.
