I am from Erode, and my electricity bill is due on 31st Jan 2022. But, i forgot to pay on time. For that, today i.e., 1st Feb 2022, the duty person came to home and took off the fuse and told us to pay 503/- rs in hand. But we told that, will pay on-line. While making payment in on-line, the bill rs was charged as 440/- rs. Is it really that much is charged for not paying the bill for even one day delay. It is really pain.

        My bill for the month January is INR 800. In addition to that I have been charged INR 3760 as "Average Shortfall". I am a regular payer without any due.

            In our place we face frequent disconnection and frequent heavy or low voltage, recently our Led TV got damaged and also all the Led lights in our place got damaged. From the 26th there is a single phase with low voltage and still the issue has not been resolved, I would kindly request the support to resolve the issue permanently.

            Due to low voltage and only one phase of operation we could not turn on the motor and all the villa owners have raised the complaint and here posting to get this resolved. This is affecting our daily life and we are unable to work.

                  We live in Chennai, Ambattur and our EB connection consumer number[protected], we had bill for the month of January 2022 as 380 rupees and last date of payment was 24th, We missed the last date since was not able to make payment in google pay, and on 25th the very next day paid the eb bill with a fine amount of 100, For one day a fine amount of 25% of fine is too much to pay. Please do consider this petition to refund the amount, During months of April, may during covid we paid a mamoth of 8000 rupees as eb bills, We have been paying eb bills regularly, But as there is no policy or guidelines on implementing fine amounts, please do consider this request, am raising this on 25th January 2022, once after paying the full eb bill with fine.(We have paid and requested for refund because we dont know what till be amount of fine for non payment upcoming days from tomorrow)

                    I paid the EB Bill through the Quick payment online, the link i received from TANGEDCO in mail. The amount debited from my account but the transaction failed in end and i didn't get any confirmation message or return yet.

This is very dangerous for public. because last week one branch of tree was broken on Electrict wire pole. some children are playing in the road. so many times we are convey this to that building house owner, please remove the tree. but they are not take any action against the tree. please take necessary action and please remove the tall tree branches in front of electric wire.

                          My consumer no [protected]. No due in my payment till Nov 2021. For the month of Dec 2021, they have raised the bill amount of 3233/- (Shortfall & Others). I visited EB Office but they ask me to raise the complaint in customer service. Till now I have raised & spoke to customer service more than 3 times but no effort was taken.

                          please consider this and rectify the average short fall.

                          Past 2 Months struggling regarding this issue. Spoke to customer support no of times but they said we forwarded the complaint to the respective EB office and wait for the call. Still now i haven't received any call from EB office. Yesterday the deadline for making payment was over, they started to update the fine amount in portal. Just because of this Shortfall & Other amount, i am not able to pay Jan 2022 month bill too.

                            Hello Sir,

                            I am Murugan and I have applied new EB connection for home and paid amount (Rs.4568 ) in online .

                            Since, I wrongly selected Phase details for home in online application (it should be single phase but I selected 3 Phase) it asked to pay Rs.4568 and I paid that.

                            After that only, I know the it should be single phase and amount should be around Rs.1500

                            So, again I paid amount around around Rs.1500 and got new EB connection with single Phase.

                            Wrongly paid Rs.4568 for connection application [protected] on 23/06/21.Please refund Chq./Ref.No-[protected] Narration[protected]/TNEBNHDFC

                            Is it possible to return the amount back to me which I Wrongly paid Rs.4568.

                                Power was not there in my house from Jan 7th night. On jan 8th, they connected a cable from neighbour house and power is there now. but Eb person said, they will fix on monday. Now 2 weeks over and AE keeps saying there are many complaints to look and I dont get proper response like when this issue will be fixed too.

                                No body comes and see as well. even the temporary connection has power fluctuation problem at my neighbour house and my house as well. wahsing machine got repair and tube light got spoilt because of this.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  This is Anandh (farmer), son of Subramani residing at 4/176, Kattu Salai, Konur post, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu 637208. Two years back, I have requested to change old wire for New wire connection from the current Pole to Pump set place. As per my request, old wire was removed by EB department but yet not replaced with new wire. Further I requested the EB office a lot of times in person. They didn't take my complaint seriously and I have been told some unacceptable reasons. Because of this issue, my farming is getting affected.
