Dear sir/ madam, Consumer no.[protected] Re:meter reading error The electricity meter reading taken on 11/2/2018 has recorded 8500 units and consumption of 2500 units resulted in cc charges of rs.14980/! On 21/02/2018 at 6.30 pm our meter reading is only 6362 units. Obviously, the reading on 11/2/2018 is wrong caused by an error in the meter reading. I have reported the error to the assistant engineer by a written letter and then again by telephone since there was no response. Tomorrow is the last day to pay the bill and even today so far there is no response from the eb office.
