Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] — wrong billing - amount needs to be reverted | |||
The tamilnadu electricity board, chennai south [madipakkam], the eb staff has not taken any consumption reading for the past 2 months, but it shows 'meter reading not available' suddenly last week its shows the last time amount which i already paid & the same needs to pay this time too. The remarks shows door locked, This is untrue since no one visited my residence nor contacted my phone number, but simply has updated that door locked. Further, i have specifically given a requisition letter in writing to change my tariff as i have completed my new construction of house. The letter dated december, 2018. The letter was given as per the instruction of tneb authorities since they continued to charge me higher tariff of rs. 3000/- which was not applicable to me at all, as the house is not occupied and still lying vacant only. On getting the letter from me the tneb ae assured that there would not be any higher tariff for me thereafter, but in the month of february also they charged rs.3000/- for vacant house and this time also may month they have raised bill for rs. 3000/-. When i enquired in person, the ae said that nothing could be done and i have to pay. This is unfair.. Kindly look into this issue and resolve at the earliest as they may disconnect the service and my put me in hardship. Uma. R, advocate Email - uma. If i ask there is no proper responce, they ask me to pay the amount what ever its shows in online. This is not at all acceptable. Everybody says in my flats no body comes for taking the reading.
