I was traveling from k. Chettipalayam to tirupur bus stand. When the bus was nearing to bus stand, I got down into steps. So immediately the conductor has asked me to get above the stairs. Respecting his words I got above the stairs. Inspite of getting into the bus, he started speaking disrespectfully on me. I am a banker and we know how to treat a customer. I warned him that his speech is very wrong and disrespectful. He said "who the hell r u to give me respect". I dint noted down the board number but the sticker number is 3/24 i guess. The driver, knowing nothing about the incident just came to me said to get down from the bus. But I resisted. And the name of that conductor is Saravanan. Pls kindly take action against him.

    Why the conductors and other officials are asking for the print out, better the passengers can show the tickets in Email format using this devices. There is no use of Print outs. Yesterday i was not allowed to travel in SETC bus because i just forgot the Print out in home.

      I got into bus from KK-nagar Amman kovil stop to get down at 'Ayiram Vilakku' stop. Nov 8th. Around 8 am Sunday. (

      11G or 11H is the route number) There is totally 10 passengers. Raining heavily.The conductor sitting in the last

      seat and asked me to come using gesture.Just he wagged his forefinger.
      I was confused and staring at him whom he was calling.I am a project manager in a reputed concern in bangalore.
      He just shouted 'Are you coming here ? or Shall I make you to come over here? ' - I felt really bad and staring at

      him.

      Suddenly he reached me and started using low profile abusive words. When i said 'please mind your words' he just

      raised his hands to hit me saying 'Are you a IAS officer? you bloody cheat... and some bad tamil words...' won't

      you come and get the tickets ?'

      As he used bad words I said ' I will complaint to the Depot manager. So pls don't use bad words'.
      He become more worse now 'I will face anyone and nobody can touch me...you won't reach home

      properly...'blah..blah...lot o[censored]nprintable words . IYI -3062 TN-01N-9198 is the bus number. Please save

      passengers from him.He wore specs and bit dark in color.

      So I took photo of the bus number. On seeing this he got irritated and stopped the bus before the police station.

      Directly went inside and called the inspector. So I went to inspector and explained the situation. Immediately he

      asked the conductor to start the bus and resume the journey. The driver was silently watching as spectator. Few

      people supported me and the conductor started shouting at them too.
      He wasted nearly 1 hour and his ego was not satisfied. After that he just stood near to me and was saying some bad

      words as if he is talking to some other guy. I just got down from the bus in the next stop. Still he shouted some

      bad word when i got down.

        Not able to cancel the booked ticket from my login

        I booked a ticket from pondicherry to chennai. Travel date is[protected] @ 6 AM.. I am now posting this compliant on[protected] @ 10.30 PM. As per the rules we cant able to cancel before 4 hours. Then why cant i able to cancel my ticket even there is 7 more hours to travel. This is stupid and tnstc service and staff behaviours are very worst. I want my ticket refund... PNR Number : T12696651...

        Please allocate some seats for ladies in tnstc buses especially tirunelveli nagercoil end to end, tirunelveli tuticorin buses. Ladies face lot of problems even while getting in to the. The men who are strong enough always fight with ladies in getting first into the bus for seat. Women harrasment starts immediately after getting out from home to their work place. This may sounds silly but this is what actually happening. So please frame some rules

          Dear Sir/Madam, I am from Gudalur. The Nilgiris. Here there is no proper bus services and we people suffer daily. If we report it in the dippo they tell us that they cant take the bus in time and they behave to us rudely. We are suffering this from years and years we have reported this complaint to you but there was no response from your side. We all kindly request you to take some necessary actions for the proper bus services. Thank You.

            Conductor name:a.madhesh He left the 70 yrs old man in Karur but the old man took ticket to Tiruppur.Other passenger asked to stop the bus and wait for him since he left his property in the bus.But conductor talk abused and rubbish about that old man.

              Hi, The TNSTC city buses have started carrying hoardings (advertisements on the glass windows) which is obstructing the view. Passengers are unable to see outside as the advertisement stickers stuck on the glass windows obstruct the views. Recently, the passengers miss the bus stops due to this. The authorities must be instructed to remove the hoardings

                Hi All,

                This is to bring to your kind attention about the bus was damaged,


                I would like to notice you that entire bus was damaged. below are issues I faced while travelling.


                I booked the Bus at 3.15 PM at Arupukottai to Chennai. but the bus reached arupukkotai at 5.30 and my seat number was 35 & 35 and seat 36 was damaged I informed the conductor dint take any action regarding this. but he was eagrly russing to madurai bus stand as one passenger din't board the bus to fill that space and fill the frond space and he filled four persons in the bus.


                While travelling the rain started. On the top of my seat rain water was flooding like anything and i informed the conductor. He said kindly adjust it may rain for few minutes and the the rain continued till the last. Again went both the driver and bus conductor to stop at any bus depot and change the bus or make any alternate arrangements on this.

                The driver and conductor refused to give the managers number on regarding this, the driver started using abusal language scloding the tutucrine manager.

                Finally I got the number from my cousin and stated reaching this number[protected] which I was nort reachable then I got depot incharge number ([protected]) and called him he also was not responding to me said kindly adjust and continue your journey.

                then I was totally frustrated with entirely with wet clothes having my two year old baby girl then I reached the SETCheadoffice contact number ([protected]). I informed the person about the situation what was happening. The person told me to give the phone to the driver or the conductor. Driver refused to answer the call as the conductor was driving. he said he will look into this matter and after 15 to 20 min I got a call stating that this bus will be demolish in 10 days. When I heard this I was totally shocked and asked the person whether are we bulls and goates. for animals even there is blue cross for us who is there there.

                Finally I would like to inform that I could not reach office as myself & my kid is having a sever illness. As my kid was taken to hospital today.

                pls note that I was not the only victim as there were around 10 to 15 passengers affected due to rain water falling on our head there were more that 60 plus elder person and children were affected on this.

                Hope the management of SETC transport will take necessary action on this provide a safer and good infrastructure buses for the commuters.

                I tried reaching the Tutucourin number[protected] Mr.Srinivasan attended the call and he said he will take this to his higher officials on regarding this.


                personally I pray to God this should situation should not happen to any of the citizen in INDIA. Jai Hind


                note : Kindly advise the conductor and driver to properly answer in any manner and in any situation.

                @ Thanks to Mr. Srinivasan ( [protected]) as he was the only person who understood my situation. I hope he might take this to higher authorities of SETC. Jai Hind

                  Hi, Today 9/27/2015 around 9:45 pm my mother fell down from the bus at Thiruverumbur, trichy bus stop. The bus number, TN-45 N-3146 going from Trichy junction to Thanjavur. It was raining heavily when we were getting down at Thiruverumbur bus stop, while my mother was getting down, bus started moving, my mother lost balance and fell down from the bus. She got hurt. This happened because of the negligence of the conductor. He gave signal to driver without even checking if everyone has got down. I kindly request you to take proper action (Probably a day of absence) on the conductor who was on board in the bus TN-45 N-3146 going from Trichy junction to Thanjavur started around 9:30 PM from trichy junction. Please consider it as a serious concern. Don't understand why they are hurrying. If they want to go fast let them go in their personal vehicle. Bus is running for us, they need to understand, we are their customers without us they don't have a job. Similar incident happened to me on 9/26/2015, yesterday morning. I managed to get into the bus.

                    Dear sir/ Mam, Now we are traveling to chennai from Madurai by SETC bus (ultra deluxe)... When I stepped in to the bus, I shocked to see the seats are fully wet, due to heavy rain... This is because o[censored]seless windows... If there is rain during this travel again we all need to face the difficulty...this is not a short travel ..we need to spend whole night in this useless bus with the heavy noises... TNSTC should know the meaning o[censored]ltra deluxe... Please take action ...

                        I travelled from coimbatore to erode on 19.9.15 around 2.30pm TN 30 N 1328 . I forgot to take one of my bag (bigsofer) while I get down from bus which contains newly purchased items. After I remember about bag I urge to tnstc Salem enquiry center in erode bus stand. At that time bus left the bus stand and the officer told that the bus gone for trip to Salem and may return back by 8.10pm The officer hesitate to contact the conductor and he ask me to wait . I waited and once bus arrived in bus stand I asked the conductor about bag. He replied that he not found any bag inside the bus and he left the place. I doubt about conductor words and I checked inside the bus. My bag was kept in conductor place in front side of bus. Then I asked him about this. He became angry and start to scolding me. I request you to take necessary action and ensure safety of passenger lugage .

                            In fact, VOLVO buses given to TNSTC is like giving a garland to a monkey. The condition of all the TNSTC VOLVO buses between Chennai and vellore are worst( Worst in the sense that you won't ever get guts to enter any volvo bus the next time).
                            I remember once that it is raining inside the bus .I and fellow passengers were covering our heads with Plastic covers and few even used umbrellas, inside the bus.
                            One of the best feature of VOLVO buses is its acceleration but TNSTC Volvo buses which display "Engine ECU failure "in the driver information display board won't cross 60kmph!!!... Those buses take more than 3:30 hrs to cover mere 130 kms( Chennai to Vellore). Even an ordinary TNSTC bus would cover the same distance in less than 2:30 hrs even if there is traffic.
                            The noise level inside most buses are very high and irritating.This is because some non-skilled and irresponsibe workers who don't know about the sound harmonics of metals used had altered the interior.(As standard volvo buses will have carpets covering the window bars, etc to supress sound wave resonance).

                            AC of bus will work i, e. we will get air but not even a bit cooled air.

                            The drivers and conductors never care about the passengers feedback.If we ask them before boarding about the condition of the bus the only word they say is don't enter the bus.There is no schedule for the bus departure and arrival.

                            Why should we give Rs.160 to these Cow Carts?Why are they(TNSTC Staff) running these services fooling the people and bringing bad fame to VOLVO company itself?

                              Sir, yesterday(12.9.2015) eve i was travel pollachi town bus root no 11. The conductor name mathiazhagan and did'nt know driver name. First of all driver & the conductor did not stop the stage even the passenger take a ticket for that stage, they skipping to stop some stages... And also the conductor mathiazhagan was push to take a ticket for did not stopped stage. So the passengers are very disturbed and lose their rupees for this people.. So Please kindly take an action for that conductor mathiazhagan and that driver dated at 12.09.2015

                                We were 2 ladies and a boy.we boarded ECR Chennai to Puducherry bus No. 252612 on 12/9/15 at 8:20 pm in madhya kailash and got a ticket to Kalpakkam. We were standing at a place and one o[censored]s got a seat and in that Seat the other two passengers told us that they would get down on thiruvanmiyur but the conductor told another person going to pondicherry to get the seat. we kindly informed him twice that the two men are giving us the seat but he refused and discriminated us as locals and started a argument and the driver also supported the conductor. we are complaining the driver and the conductor for agrresive behavior... they are treating us i. e. kalpakkam passengers as locals and we have to give seats for pondicherry people. is there any rule like that. please take action against the conductor and driver

                                  I am travelling in tnstc bus belongs too trichy contontment branch bus number tn45n3258 driver is drunken while driving and he is smoking continuously from madurai to trichy and he has stope the bus in motel for more than 45 mins n had smoke for long time n spoke indecent words while we ask y u r smoking inside the bus please take the necessary action and give some respect public transport consumers

                                    I was travelling with my wife and 5-year-old son from Erode to CBE on 20/08/2015 in bus TN33 2821. We stood up at the bus gate before my stop (Peelamedu) arrived and told the conductor that we need to get down. The conductor didn't whistle to indicate the driver to stop. The driver didn't stop the bus at my stop and after arguing with them, he stopped the bus after 2 stops (Nava India) from my stop, that too for the signal and it was 9:00 p.m. when we reached there. I didn't get any auto from there to go home and we walked nearly 1 km with my kid to get an auto. The reason he didn't stop the bus is, he competed with a private bus and wanted to be first to reach Gandhipuram. Is this the way the government serves people?? Are we not paying for that?? It is their duty to stop at each customer's bus-stop, isn't? Are we asking to drop us at our home? What action will be taken on these irresponsible drivers and conductors?

                                      I did reservation upto Trivandrum from Trichy in the 22:30 Bus[767UD]. I got in to the bus and reached nagarcoil bus conductor pushed out all passengers wanted to go to Trivandrum including me.and said the reason that the Bus was in repair.
