Hi Team,

My name is Loganathan and my father working as a senior mechanic in TNSTC for more than 30 Years and we have a yearly travel pass around 4800Km per year (It's applicable for all TNSTC employees families) for entire family within Tamilnadu only on TNSTC Normal and Express bus services,

On 20th July 2014 i travelled from Salem to Chennai, I have given the travel pass to the conductor he request...

I am govt servant .I started my travel to Krishnagiri in 1to 5 flyover express today at 1.00 pm .nonstop service .before reaching salem toll, bus not started.then asked refund to go in private bus or fast service ;they refused to give it so.they asked me to get in into govt without seating to all.the bus is running like town bus with frequent stops.so totally 1 hr Waste for us.i planned to travel because it is non stop. At last I was forced to travel in more stopping bus and running late. I called TNSTC dharmapuri BM, no response.

    Chennai to vellore has AC bus every one hour. I frequently use it. The problem I face is the driver runs AC in low mode. It is sufficient to breath, but literally everyone in bus sweat. If we ask conductor or driver they give a rude response. They say its already in full mode. Who is deceiving here? Is it the TN govt issuing secret orders to drivers. Or is the the drivers deceiving public. Every bus has this same issue. I know no one will be bothered to read this or take any action. Route: vellore to chennai Bus no: Tn 01 N 7450 Time: 4pm from vellore It would be better to sue the govt in court for deceiving public and demand justice

      MY purse have been stolen by the bus conductor

      Travelled - from Vellore To Chennai on 6.7.14
      Incident happen in Koyambadu bus stand at 5.30pm, Me & my friend was the last personin the bus kept my purse on the seat (no:29) 7 taking my luggate from the luggage area in the bus, while this time conductor came near us & told to
      get down quickly, i left my purse on the seat forget & geot down the bus, at once i reailesed i missed my purse with in 10mins after getting down the bus, i ran back to the bus & search for the purse, bit purse was missing & conductor & driver also missing. I asked in the bus stand entery area, they told they still not came to do entery, with in 5mins conductor came to the bus.i asked him he refussed tha h not saw the purse & stolen my purse with cash & cards.


      Sincue only We & conductor was in the bus near the seat how could the purse will miss without the knowlege of the conductor, Iam very my upset by the attitude of the Govt staff doing this, pls help me in this matter.

        I reserved a ticket!abisheik seat no.20 . I travelled from neyveliTS-chennai on 5/7/2014 23.30 bus. TN 32 N 3982 I carried CPU packed with me!. HE(conductor) charged me 115 rupees for the luggage, but he issued only 58 re's. ticket for that. I asked him" excuse me sir, u asked me 115 re's. and i gave that amount, but you are giving me ticket of just 58. rs?" and he casually replied" Its My wish to put whatever amount i want and i can get whatever amount i wish? Who are you to ask that? WE( conductor and driver) will have some tea or coffee in that 58 re's and i wont return you the remaining amount!. . and he shouted again " IF YOU WANT PROPER TICKET give me 460 (cost of 4 person's ticket) and travel or else get down from the running bus" .THIS is so FRAUD and !.

          Complaint on tnstc bus Driver & conductor Sir am Sureshkumar.S from Palladam, Yesterday Evening I am travel in express Salem to Tirupur bus. (TN 33 N 2550 TNSTC(CBE) Ltd) on 4/07/14 Evening 7:05 pm bus ticket no QXK[protected]Rs 15.00) from Vijayamangalam to Tirupur. Before Start the bus conductor told "this is Express so next stops are Uthukuli and Tirupur Only", I have train at 8:00 PM in Tirupur Railway Station, After Uthukuli then Stop the Bus in a Bakery and Conductor told "the Bus will stop 20 minutes go the passengers and take rest" am ask the Conductor " am going to Urgently why the stop Unauthorized Places, I think it is express so Quickly reach tirupur, (Normal and Private Bus Ticket Fare Rs:11.00 but Express Fare 15.00) " but Driver Reply is 1. We are not Call you and Use this Bus 2. It is My liking, When you willing Travel this other wise Live it This is not the kind of behavior a Driver please take action. He is behave badly to passengers he wear Kakkai shirt. Kindly take appropriate action by considering my complaint.             Poor Bus maintenance

            Yesterday i travelled from Chidambaram to chennai on PYB 595 Ultra Deluxe at 11 PM. Due to heavy rain and poor maintenance of the bus the entire bus flooded with rain water. Just before starting itself driver/conductor knew that problem as they just returned from chennai, and many of the seats were fully loaded with water. When the bus crosses pondicherry it is horrible situation, so we asked the driver to go to nearest depot and get us...

              I did reserve my seat for Travelling from Chennai to Mayiladuthurai on 26-June-2014 at 10 :15 PM in Tamilnadu Stat e Express Transport Corp(SETC) Via route no : 307EUD and the PNR ref : T7745570. My boarding point was Chennai Koyembedu Bus Terminal. I was at my boarding point sharply at 9 :50 PM and waiting for the bus. The Conductor from next bus suddenly gave me surprise that that particular bus has just left... He also told me that if I run to the exit I can catch the bus... Before I reach the exit, the bus has left. I went to SETC enquiry office and asked for an explanation.. NO PROPER RESPONSE.. The man sitting at the desk asked me to go and check once again at the boarding point. I tried to explained him but he is not ready to hear anything. Finally for God sake I went and checked once again and the same conductor Confirmed me that the bus has gone. Again I reported this information to the enquiry office and after a long discussion... They accepted my demand and they transfered my ticket to the next bus at 11.00. Moral for me and everyone : I paid money in advance to this Transport service including booking charge and finally I got Sucked.. I Will never prefer SETC in my life anymore. IS THERE SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP THE COMMON PUBLIC WHO CAN BE EASILY CHEATED BY THESE GUYS..!!! PLEASE SAVE THE SOCIETY FROM THESE CHEATERS...!!!

                Hello sir, I am a student and my height is just 5.1, and my friends and ladies who are travelling by bus daily are mostly lying on the same height that I have, my complaint is most of the ladies are not able to hold the supporting hand bars that are fixed at the bottom of roof of the bus. I mean, in most of the buses the supporting hand bar is fixed to the highest height so that we ladies can't even touch, so when the driver puts sudden break or bus moves so fast we ladies are not able to manage & we are struggling to balance our self, so please make a good favor towards this problem sir, it is a big request from me. please make hand bars comfortable to ladies... hope you will take an action towards this problem, thank you.

                  I am Dhanasekar. residing at A16 NGO B COLONY. TIRUNELVELI 627007. I am working as deputy manager in state bank of travancore. kalakad branch. Today i have waited for bus at NGO B COLONY bus stop to go nanguneri.[protected]. At the time of 8.05 AM one bus bearing no. TN 72 N 1555 was came and i show my hand to stop the bus.                     I would like to bring to your kind notice that the
                    irresponsibility of the staff (conductor) of Tamilnadu State Transport
                    Corporation.
                    I have traveled from tirusulam to pallavaram by using public transport categorised as white board.
                    The conductor (who refused give name) was insulted me infront of other passengers. Let me explain in brief about the situation.
                    As I am working at international airport in the NATIONAL CARRIER AIR
                    INDIA AIR TRANSPORT SERVICES LTD, .I have finished my shift and waiting
                    for the bus to reach pallavaram.the bus TN01 N4321 and bus code TA I
                    0268 reached tirusulam bus stop at 2115hrs then I got into it.Given Ten
                    rupees for the ticket between tirusulam and pallavaram. .he immediately
                    asked me to get down at the middle of the road and shouted at me and
                    irately said I should get three rupees change to travel even though he
                    had many changes as he was operating last trip. Unable to get down since
                    very tired after doing 12hrs shifts and many flights handled. So
                    requested the conductor that please don't give me change and give me only
                    the ticket.then he accepted and given me ticket.
                    But other passengers who traveled me along with me couldn't able to
                    accept the situation happened and they gave three rupees to buy a
                    ticket. Immediately the conductor replied that" EVAN KAASU KUDUTHALUM
                    ENAKU KAVALAI ILLA ".In view of above information, I have decided to
                    report to concerned officer but it is regret to inform the wording he
                    used me to scold infront of others, your honour I would like to quote
                    the words he used with your permission, "NEE ENTHA M***RUM P***NGA
                    MUDIYATHU" Three times he used.That reflects and insisting that the ordinary people can not keep their rights
                    and can not question permanent employee.In my life, all these years, my mother never used any of
                    the worst language to scold me neither my family members nor my friends.

                    Now I am really mentally upset and I could not allow myself
                    into other personal and official work.I humbly request you to look into
                    the matter and please ensure that will not happen again to make peopleS
                    good will on the current regime.
                    I want the conductor to apologize and take oath not to
                    behave rudely to the passengers in written. Please refer following

                      This very bad experience happened with conductor of TN 38 2649 on today on 9 PM at Rajapalayam bus stand.We have booked ticket from Rajapalayam to Coimbatore through online and there is no seat number on the ticket itself, this is been explained to him, but he was not able to understand. His was telling like cheating and fraud on online ticket and he was not ready to accept it even through the passenger name is on the list.This is creating very very bad impression on entire conductors of TNSTC. Please take step on this issue and save the honor of TNSTC.

                        Sir I travelled from Villupuram to Kallakurichi by a S.E.T.C bus today. The bus started off from Villipuram by 9.30 A.M and reached Ulundupet by 10.00AM. After the bus got on to the 4 lane NH, I saw something incredibly dangerous and unbelievable. The Bus was going at 60-70kmph when the conductor got into the driver’s seat while the driver left his driving position and got up and went to the seat behind. This was done while the bus was moving at 60-70Kmph and was on the right most lane of the NH. Anything could have happened and what would have been the fate of the 30 odd passengers inside the bus and of course the lives of these 2 irresponsible employees of SETC. I am sure this is happening pretty regularly in all your services because When I questioned the driver (When I was getting off), he said that both were drivers and did not answer me to the question of changing drivers in the middle of the highway when the bus was moving at a good speed. I request you to kindly look into this practice and give suitable instructions to all your drivers not to pull this kind of stunts on moving vehicles. One more very important point to note is that I am very sure the conductor in question does not possess a valid driver's license and is also not authorised by SETC to drive their buses while on service.                           Normal daily commuter of govt bus in coimbatore..I have been oticing one common factor with many ofthe bus conductors on providing the balance change t o the traveller.though it might be a rupe.ppl try maxium t avod retunin it..its jus a simple calculatiOn per commuter if he takes one rs how much would he earn in a whole day..v travellers knw tat der r always a shortage of coins circulations bt stil der should be some otherr way to prvide change..even a single rupee costs a lot for us..I kindly requst utoprovid donductord wid change r find some other way for this

                            Sir, I am karthick reside in vikravandi and its my native also. I work in chennai and I used to go to my home every week in tnstc buses. What's my problem is the tnstc buses are not stopping in vikravandi bypass. Being a recognised taluk the tnstc buses are not considering as a bus stop. Eventhough the gare for vikravandi from chennai is Rs. 83, but they're charging only 92 as like villupuram. they are not stopping in vikravandi bypass. when I ask the conductor whether can you stop in vikravandi and he says no only villupuram seats only can get in and also charging villupuram fare. The director of TNSTC villupuram must make kind arrangements to relieve all difficulties and stress experienced by people of vikravandi. The town vikravandi must be recognised as a regular stops for tnstc buses. I kindly request you to consider this issue as a serious affair and do the needful as soon as possible. Regards, S.                                 I am travelling from Kalpakkam to Water tank stop [Akkarai] daily. I am using ECR buses. Most of the time I give exact cash [Rs.37 in normal bus, Rs.50 in SETC & Rs.75 in AC buses]. Some conductors of TNSTC are rude when I sometimes couldnt provide the exact cash. In the bus, TN21N 1558, conductor always not provide the change immediately. I have two instances of which he didnt provide me Re.1 coin back. First time I asked and got that. But today, he didnt give the balance Re.1. Also he is rude to passengers.

                                  Sir, I am the resident of Coimbatore. My son is working in Cognizent at Chennai. He used to come to Coimbatore once or twice in a month. We very much strict in travelling ONLY in SETC due to the following reasons: 1) SAFETY 2) AFFORDABLE CHARGE 3) OUR GOVERNMENT BUS But recent times we incurred so many inconvenience. The travel time goes up to 12 to 13 hours from Chennai to Coimbatore both ways. E.g. on 6-6-2014, My son took the bus at 9.45 P.M. at Koyambedu, he reached Coimbatore only by 9.30 A.M. on 7-6-2014. Then he returned to Chennai by your bus from Coimbatore on 8-6-2014 at 9.05 P.M. he reached Chennai by 10.15 A.M. on 9-6-2014. Due to this undue delay, he is not able to attend his important meetings. You are aware that travelling of 12 to 13 hours for 500 Kms. Is very painful. The travelling time of private buses are 7 to 8 hours, but I would not appreciate that. At the same time, 12 to 13 hours for SETC is too long.. Also I request you to improve the conditions of the buses on a priority basis. Kindly look into the matter and take necessary steps to improve the service of SETC.                                     Because of getting free food for driver and conductors, they stop at motels but actually the passenger get lots of troubles.I think the motels run by local political rowdies.They fix the rate themselves and refuse to give change .For that they give any other unworthy products with own rate.Today I questioned why are you doing like this.Their reply is like threatening("Kondruven""olunga poidu da illaina")then many other words.Superb tnstc.shame of you. Charging 5 rupees for urine but when I get inside makes vomiting sense. This the way to treating peoples who traveling in government bus. Please stop 5 min in bus stand instead of motels for half an hour.Amma mineral water is 10 Rs in all bus stands but there an unknown company for 25 Rs.Please make revenue to government by getting amma mineral water and reduce the burden for peoples.Dont be selfish you all drivers and conductors.
