I am Surendhar, On Dec 12,2011 I have traveled from Chennai to hosur and from hosur I need to go to Bangalore. So I got a bus which will be travelling to Bangalore border Attibele. The Bus Number is TN-09 N1502 don't know the conductor name. The charge for the distance I need to travel is rupees 6/-. So I gave 10 rupees and as usual conductor replied saying that he don't have a change. So he written the balance amount at the back side of the ticket and promised me saying that he will be return the money after reaching the destination. Because of continuous travelling and also it was early morning. So, I slept off in the bus after reaching the destination I waked up and asked the conductor for a change. What he was telling to me is he don't have a change and that too he is having only in terms of 50 and 100 rupees.So he showed some shops and asked me to go there get change and come and collect your balance amount. Even I said why I need to go there and get the change. He has to give me a balance of 5 rupees and I told him that I will give one rupee so return me five rupee.He was not at all listening to that and started scolding me. I asked him I just asked for a change then you are you talking rubbish. finally he is replying me saying that I little bit crack so I will speak like this only. if you want your balance amount go and get some change till then I will not return back your balance other wise come again to hosur to tally the balance. if you want to complaint go and give complaint at the head office at hosur. This words from the conductor is clearly mentioning that there is no action is taking places on the conductors and drivers on the complaints filed against them and I am wondering that how government has appointed a mental disorder person. What is the solution for these kind of actions from conductors continuously?

CONDUCTOR TOLD"18 SEAT RESERVED" BUT THE SEATS ARE FULL FILL IN DEPARTURE TIME.
WE ARE TAKING 2 TICKETS AND AMOUNT PAIDED. SEAT IS ALLOTTED AT TOP OF REAR WHEEL ARCH SIDE. I ASKED THIS SEAT IS NOT CONVENIENT SO PLEASE CHANGE THE SEAT. BUT HE TOLD ARE YOU COME OR NOT? IF NOT, YOU REFUND THE AMOUNT AND SAY GO DOWN AND ALSO HE SAY ""GO TO GERIGO AND SPIT ME.

I was travelling from tirupur to coimbatore in TN38 N 2761 on 27.09.2013There is a signal more or less 50metre before karanampettai bus stop.if there is a red signal, the conductor asks the passengers to get down from the bus in the signal hurriedly.moreover he shouted in a rude manner and said the bus wont stop at the bus stop.the passengers are not even ready to get down sometimes.it disturbs them mentally and causes an unsafe feeling.the responsible conductor behaves like an irresponsible..the higher officials should see to it before any danger occurs.
today i am travelling in TN30N1233 salem division bus at 10.15 am i am travelling uthangarai to tirupattur just i am speaking one call after i will ask him to ticket but the conductor teece me and using irresponsible words he is a educated r un educated he not known public manase he is not put any name badge pls take action

    4th December 2011. Route number 628UD from Bangalore to Chennai. Bus number: TN01 N 7794 Bus timing : 10.30 PM . Sunday. This bus route should go to Chennai via Chittoor. But the driver has taken the bus
    Via Hosur. When an old man questioned the conductor, he abused him with bad words.
    He also told that its not government who set the rules...its only him. The driver was also
    Smoked while he was driving. You can check with the passenger lists phone number.

    conductor of this bus,
    1. he is charging extra fair to the passenger, like, for getting the window seat, and its happening without prior information to the passenger .
    2.he is not giving the change, which should be given back to the passenger,
    3.and he dint gave me the change back, and he started to shout when I asked for the change back.and even its happening for me, then how can the ladies ask back the change who are travelling alone, its unsafe
    4.its all happened on that bus
    5.and its the green coloured UD bus from Chennai to Madurai, and the bus registration number is, TN 01 7222.
    6. Because of few conductors like this, the whole co.conductors name is getting spoil, so please take immediate action on him.

      Sir i was traveling from Vellore to Chennai for past 19 years. In the past the Buses operated from the vellore was collecting ordinary fare and the buses were stopped in the hotels. When all the buses were converted as express and the fair was raised the buses were not halted in the hotels. Now the days the fair is collected as express fair and the buses halt at road side hotels so that is lot of inconvenience to the passengers. At least the Buses operated from Chennai to Vellore and Chennia to Arcot should not be halted as road side hotels or other wise ordinary fair should be collected.

        It was a tough night for the passengers who travelled by SETC bus bound to Bangalore from Coimbatore 22:30 service on November 6th.
        It was scheduled to depart by 22:30, but it could just make the arrival by 00:45am on November 7th.
        There was no announcement regarding the late arrival and the people were stranded in rain and could not even utilise the other options with the other private services being already left.
        The person in the enquiry room also had no clue apart from telling us the same dialogue "it will reach in another 5-10minutes" everytime.
        The arrival of the bus did not make any difference. We were getting drenched inside the bus with the seats already wet and the water leaking from the top.
        To my luck, it is just the first time that it happened to me. But yesterday I heard that the people are facing the same issue everytime though not in the same route.
        To add up, the bus driver had to drive a bit fast which is unusual in this service which added to the fear of accident with lot of buses catching fire after hitting somewhere these days.
        If you ppl want a good service, please choose a private service with better price. Kudukkura 250 rupee ku flight la ya pogamudium. Monna pasangala..
        Thagara dappa vandila thanda poga mudium...

          i have travelled in vilupuram division bus where they shifted me frm one bus to other bus due to tyre issue at vellore.and from vellore to poonamalli i have shown the ticket i have taken but then the conductor behaved rudely sayng that the other conductor didnt give any details to him and Rs.40 has been paid to other vilupuram division bus.any one who is good at providing quality in TNSTC service can call me i have all ticket details

          Sir, I am usually go to Ambur sugar mill from vellore. Govt., route bus 463 only stopped there.The autorities gave stopping for 102bExp, 324, 444H, 185.But these buses are not stopped there. Teachers, farmers, Govt.employees, nurses are daily travelling from sugarmill.will the authorities take necessary action.Amos.M vellore.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I have been using SETC(State Express Transport Corporation of Tamilnadu) buses for the past five years.
            The ultra delux buses which are semi sleeper air buses are the ones I use regularily. For a trip from Chennai to Bangalore Rs 310 is being charged.

            This amount is three times that of the ordinary buses. But this is due to teh comfort that these ultra delux buses are supposed to offer.

            Lately I have been facing a lot of issues in these buses.

            1. Some of these buses are badly infested with bed bugs.

            2. During one trip I happened to travel on a bus in which the suspension baloon had gone weak. Result the trip was totally bumpy on the fine Chennai bangalore highway. The upper compartment and the chasis rammed into each other even when the bus was accelerated. Old people with weak heart may not have survived the trip fortunately no old people travelled in that bus.
            When we complained to the conductor, he adviced us to call the Depot and when we called the depot we were asked to complain to the conductor. And finally no solution was provided and we were forced to endure this hardship for 7 hours.

            3. The seats are broken. The seats are upright with the lever broken. The passenger is not able to sleep properly for which he had paid three times the ordinary fare.

            In my last trip on 9th oct (koyambedu to bangalore; 10:35 PM; 831 UD, bus no: tn 01 N7083; seat no : 21)
            I faced the same issue. Broken seat. I was not able to sleep properly and had to spend the entire journey sitting up straight.
            This is not what I paid for. If this is how I had to travel I could have travelled at a lot cheaper rate.

            I felt that simply tolerating these things is not proper and should raise my concern.
            So kindly advice what can be done.

              Recently TNSTC has launched online booking services for traveling in their Express Transport and I have tried to book the ticket on 7 Oct 2011.
              After I sucesfully made the payment to my Banker through the Payment Gateway , I was not redirected to the TNSTC site for a quite a long time of 10 minutes and when I returned I was notified that my transaction has been failed. By then amount has already been deducted. I have sent out mail to [protected]@tnstc.in ,but my mail got bounced back. They also haven't given the contact details.

              I suggest not to try out their online booking system ( powered by Radiant) till they resolve the issues.

              TNSTC — BAD BEHAVIOR OF CONDUCTOR

              Dear Sir,
              Today[protected] I have travelled in a Tamilnadu Bus from Silk Board junction (Hosur Road) to Chandapura (Hosur Road) with my family. The conductor has collected RS 36 (for two adults) and not given the ticket. When i asked he told me I will give later. When the bus reached Chandapura again I asked for the ticket and he became very angry and very harshly spoken to me in front of other passengers. Last he has given me a ticket for Rs 30 ( 15*2). The details in the ticket are as follows

              TNSTC — Bedbugs in SETC bus

              There are lot of bedbugs in the ultra delux bus from trichy to chennai. No one is taking care of the maintenance of the bus. Especially in night travel nobody in the bus gets proper sleep because of this. No meaning foer ultra delux

              I too also facing the same issue. Till they didn't refund the money for the tickets booked on 19th Nov.
              Yes Mr. Murugan, I have also booked a ticket today for 23rd Dec. 2011. The process went on well till I make the payment through the banker. After debited the amount successfully from my account, I waited 20 minutes for my ticket to be displayed. But it has not redirected to TNSTC site and it showed some error. I didn't get my ticket. Then again when I logged in and checked the booking history, it showed that I have not booked any tickets. I have checked the particular bus seat layout, the seat what I have blocked is still vacant. Then why they debited the amount. Will they refund my amount fully ? If not how shall we believe TNSTC for online booking ?

              I also suggest not to try out their online ticket booking.

              I also booked 2 tickets from Nagercoil to salem on 5th dec 2011.The site directed me to the payment gateway and i entered evrything it is not redirected to the TNSTC website.But Rs.756 has been debited from my account.When i called up the Helpdesk number they told me the same will refunded to my account with in 10 days.Till date i have not received it.Dont know how to follow up also.Please dont ever try booking ticket thru online in TNSTC..

              Hi,

              I tried and succeeded in booking an e-ticket today. All the process were smooth and did not encounter any errors, at the end even received the ticket booking confirmation at the end. I was also able able to take the print out of the ticket.

              I used my credit card to pay the fare, but after the payment was made I received a SMS alert that the ticket amount was paid in Mumbai at BILLDESKxxxx. But I have not received any confirmation SMS or eMail from TNSTC on the ticket booking like I used to get when booking online ticket via KSRTC.

              I am just confused and worried on whether I have used the right site or has TNSTC really opened e-ticketing facility.

              I guess I will come to know the truth only on the date of my journey, that is when the conductor sees the ticket.

              With all these, I guess the www.tnstc.in site works fine, but things is I am still suspicious about its authenticity.

                Sir,

                I was traveling by TNSTC bus no 5C ( TN 38 N 2173 ) on 6th Oct 2011 at 12.10 pm from Lakshmi Mills to Sungam. I gave 10 rupee & he gave me a ticket with no 089203 . When asked for my balance of 5 rupee while getting down at Sungam conductor he began shouting at me & at one point of time he began using very bad language in front of others & when i asked his name he even took his hand near to his pant zip. Which is really a very bad behavior by a public servant to the public. This has been happening with this conductor for quiet some time. Since the conductor was not I called up the TNSTC depo no[protected] & got the concerned conductor name which they said as SURESH KUMAR . Request the concerned to take proper action against this irresponsible public servant & pls educate the others about the behaviour .

                I was traveling by TNSTC bus no ( TN 32 N 3633 ) on 23 July 2012 at 10.10 am from Pondicherry to Chennai. I gave 100 rupee & He gave me a ticket . When asked for my balance of 20 rupee he began shouting at me & at one point of time he began using very bad language in front of others and asked me to get out of bus . Which is really a very bad behavior by a public servant to the public. This has been happening with this conductor for quiet some time. Request the concerned to take proper action against this irresponsible public servant & pls educate the others about the behaviour .

                    Good Morning Sir,

                    My name is Ramesh. I was travelled on[protected] Friday from Chennai to Tirunelveli at 8.00 PM Ultra Deluxe (Fare 315 Rs) (towards Kanyakumari Dept Bus) . In between villupuram to trichy heavy rain the bus full of water . Bus full of hole . I was totally wet .very worst bus service . 33 peoples very scared . And the TNSTC peoples collect entertainment charges including the ticket fare but there is no TV . If I asked the peoples they respond very worst manner

                    [protected] Tirunelveli to Chennai super deluxe bus also the same entertainment less problem created no TV but video coach. Bus timing is 7.10pm from tirunelveli bus terminus but reached “Perungulathur” at 8.30 am but bus name is express ” non stop”(what is the meaning that ).But the bus going all the bus stop . get the people standing .finally bus breakdown in “Madurantham “ .That bus stopped in three canteen each canteen Half an hour

                    We have to plan to go to our native last minute so we choose bus .But this travel is not satisfied the people .If it is continuous means people totally avoid TNSTC Transport .Alternative chance is “Private Travels and Train “.So government get aware of this problem .

                    So much of college students struggled to go college at correct time and working peoples .I saw there ladies can’t control our children’s the children’s were crying

                      I am Arun from Coimbatore, on 23.08.2011 at 10.30 a.m i am waiting for bus to reach Town Hall in Krishnammal Bus Stopping at that time a bus 90A Somanur to Ukkadam bus TN38 N 1918 was crossed the bus stop, but bus has left the stop and went 100m far and then stopped , i ran way and entered the bus and asked the conductor
                      is this place was stopping for u? he replied, bus stopped only unloading passengers not for u this is my bus i am not yours servant and refused to give ticket and forcibly said to get down. At last i get down with tears in my eyes

                      I too agree with this kind of behaviour. we are new to city and heard about people at coimbatore. but what we heard and what we see hear are completely different. is it a stereotype message we got or what... some conductors are very rude, vulgare in speech and attitude., , , it even happened to me from mullainagar to bommanapalayam he dropped me in between saying there is no change for Rs.10. i walked out of tears on road. no concern for ladies even . Kindly note i was so sick i that point of time... irresponsible humans...
                      Respected Sir/Madam,

                      Yesterday Night i was travelling from Periyasevalai to Bangalore in Tamilnadu Transport Corporation Bus. I got the seat behind the Driver. After Thirukovilur, Bus conductor took my bag and asking to change the position of the seat. But there is lot of vacancies in bus.
                      He told, " If you buy ticket means you are not the Governor, I am the Governor of the bus, Do what i say else you get down from bus now." And he scold me in the bus crowd, and i feel very insult. And he didn't give my balance Rs.7. I asked Rs.7, but he told, "I wont give any balance amount to you, Complaint if you can???". Kindly note i was so sick i that point of time...
                      He doesn't know how to behavior with Passengers.
                      Please take the action on regarding this issue. I hope you will take corresponding action for this issue.

                      if any conductor do like this. Put one slap in his cheeks and bus driver will stop the bus then get down from bus. and you say"complaint me if you can". Then get away from that bus as soon as possible. Then that guy will know "how to act with passanger". He even doesn't know your name also.

                        Hi,

                        I travell through state buses very often as my dad is a conductor we have a family pass(given by Govt) to travell in tamil nadu.

                        Bus TNSTC staff in CMBT says only one person can travell in pass for 1 bus

                        I have never heard about that rule before

                        there are ony 3 buses which goes to my place RS mangalam other 2 buses are full and the 3rd bus have one passanger who is already going in Pass so i cant board the buss (there was 18 seats free at that time)

                        Its a government pass and how can TNSTC say i cant travell when seats are available

                        finally i did travell in the same bus after paying for my seat(Seat No 13) even though the bus was never full till i reached my place

                        Can some one check if TNSTC really have such a _______(Dont like to use abusive words in a publick forum) rule and if so please for god sake change that hell ......

                          I Happened to travel in a TNSTC bus from Vellankanni to chennai with my family a couple of months back. belive me that was the worst of the worst travell in a bus ever in my life (i used to travel by state buses 8 to 9 times a year for 18odd years, as my father is a conductor in MTC)

                          the bus was a ULTRA DELUX bus (atleast thats what they call) Rs 200 i bought 12 tickets (9 adult and 3 small childrens,TNSTC does not give seat for 1/2 tickets so i bought 3 full tickets for them too). the bus was full of bed bugs (Mootai poochi). the bus reached Pondi and we asked the conductor to stop the bus for us to complaint, but the driver and conductor never stopped.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I am Chandru.V. My address is 18/24 convent street, Cheyur Road, Avinashi-641654, Coimbatore. My Contact No is [protected]. I went Coimbatore from my home on[protected]. I got a bus (TN 33 N 2580) from chidhamani theatre bus stop at 3.05 PM. The Bus ticket No is 289135. After 30 minutes the bus had breakdown near karumattampatti police station. In that bus driver and conductor were checked the bus and told this bus had break downed, so it will not move. Then we were step down from the bus. At that time two buses were came from avinashi. Both the buses were stopped. The first bus had crowed. So we ask the (TN 33 N 2580) Bus conductor shall we step up this bus. The Bus number is (TN 74 N 1460). This bus is stand on center of the road. We step up that bus. In the mean time bus conductor told we stop the bus on left side of the road. So passengers were remove they hands from that bus. Suddenly the bus driver starts the bus and he went, he didn’t stop the bus and take that passengers. After the bus driver stop the bus at karumattampatti bus stop. The conductor came near to me, and he told, those who are the passengers come from the bus (TN 33 N 2580), those are again take the ticket from this bus, others please stop down the bus. We were asked his branch manager mobile number or branch number. But he didn’t give those numbers. Also he didn’t tell his name. We were argued with him, but he didn’t accept anything. So we were taken a ticket from karumattampatti to Coimbatore. The bus Ticket No is 286076. The Time to issued ticket 3.40 PM.
                            Here I have attached those two bus tickets and the irresponsible conductors’ bus front and back side photos.
                            In case I didn’t have any enough money means what I am doing. Sp please take an action to the irresponsible conductor; also ask him to give money Rs. 50,000 for compensation. Because I am mentally disturbed due to this event.
                            I am waiting from the court response. I believe I will get a good justice.

                            i 28.10.2011 i travel to thalavadi to sathy in thalavadi to coimbatoure bus(8.30am )... the bus is going to on the way of sathy . at time bus is going to meddle of punijure to assanure.. at the time one man reques to stop the bus get inside. but driver is do not stop the bus... people are say to driver and conductor please stop the bus. but they are do not stop the bus.. on same date bus is going to give special stop for two woman get into out side in hassanur . what happen is going there... . conductor name is LAXMIKANTH..

                              i booked a ticket in setc bus from dharapuram to chennai on 20.7.2011 7 pm .i was delayed by 2 min so bus was depatured.they were asking my phone number in the registration form .i traced the bus through call taxi within 10 km .i was astonished by seeing my seat was filled by someone... MY QUESTION : 1.whats the point for asking my phone number? since they did not disclose their phone number anywhere i could nt able to make a call. 2.how come my seat would be filled within next stop, if so what about my reservation ?                               You are at fault and didn't reach on time. You should reach 10 minutes before departure of the bus. Once bus depart on time they are entitled to take back the seat provided to you. Because your ticket becomes invalid if you don't reach on time. No point in chasing by call taxi and its their wish to board you or not. Don't shout at the bus hiding your fault. Be responsible.

                                I TOOK TICKET IN TNSTC AT 1.30 PM FROM TRICHY TO CHENNAI BY A/C BUS. I TOOK THE BUS BECAUSE OF SUMMER I PREFFER AC BUS. BUT THE AC IS NOT WORKING. EVEN IF AC IS NOT WORKING THE OUT SIDE AIR ALSO WILL NOT COME.IF WE ASK THE CONDUCTOR HE TOLD WE GAVE THE AC FOR SERVICE BUT DUE TO HEAVY SUMMER AC IMPACT WILL NOT SUPPORT YOU. WINDOW ALSO NOT OPENED. THINK THAT 7 HRS WITH SWETING WE CAME HERE BY 7.30 AT CHENNAI. EVEN IF WE COMPLAINT ALSO WHO WILL TAKE CARE.

                                EVERY BODY FRUSTRATED AND SHOUTED AT CONDUCTOR WHAT HE CAN DO WITH AC MAHINE.

                                  I have travelled from Chennai CMBT to Erode on 20.05.11 thro TNSTC , Erode division which is going upto Gopi , they have started around 6.30 pm , the bus stops at the place near to Viluppuram around 10 pm for dinner , the hotel place is ARISTO , already I am hungry , I went to the hotel and enquired and ordered for Dosa , they have given 2 Dosas and told that they wont provide any sambar or chutney and the available dish is Egg , Chicken & Mutton Kurumas , What to do , I ordered Egg Kuruma , then I got shocked the boiled eggs in Kuruma which the taste is very worst.Anyway I have taken half dosa and the bill amount is Rs.65/=. All the passengers came there were cursing the hotel people and drivers / conductors. In the hotel like this they were getting higher amount and giving the worst food , If we eat that food means definetily we will face side effects. All the drivers & conductors were treated as VVIP in that hotels and they were served in seperate room , afterall for these free food , the drivers/ conductors are pushing us in a Bad hotels , instead of this they can get Rs.10/= extra from all the passengers for food and stop in good hotel.

                                    This is very sad to mention that, bus number: TN-74-N-1039, which i traveled from Kulasekaram to Chennai. The departure timing of the bus was 2:30pm, three days before the timings for some buses were changed and the passengers were not aware of it, even the booking office didn't inform passengers who were already reserved the tickets.(Note: They noted the phone numbers during booking). Another issue is that the Government bus itself is using pirated DVD movies.

                                      The buses from Pondy are not stopping during peak hours at Kalpakkam stop. If enquired, the answer was the buses are fully occupied at the starting place itself. We travelling by the state run transport, have to bear all the difficulties.
                                      During the peak hours (7-9am) especially on Monday, it is very difficult to board the buses if they stop. The issue was taken to notice to honourable MP of Kancheepuram constituency, but in vain.
                                      Nearly more than 1000 people travel up and down to Chennai daily.
                                      I request the concerned authorites to run addtional services, if possibel cut service from Kalpakkam or from the local depot already functioning.

                                      Yes. The worst ever bus services from Kalpakkam township. Most of the services are cut down from the bus depot. When asked about a service at a particular time, there is no reply or very rude answer. If the time keepers are not interested in their jobs, they should quit their jobs and find one interesting for themselves. All the buses in ECR are overcrowded most of the times. Is this how it should be for a scientific community which is serving India?
                                      SUB : Compliance againsts Gingee depot driver - Not stopping and used unnecessary words

                                      I am vijayakumar working for Siemens Information services ltd at Electronic city - Bangalore.
                                      I was plan to travel from Bangalore to Gingee on 28.08.2011 and thought to have the bus from Electronic city.
                                      On that day around 2.50 pm i reached over there and waiting for the Gingee bus(direct bus- Gingee Depot & Bus No :Tn 32 N 3472).
                                      In the same bus my friend got in at Silkboard and informed to condutor to stop the bus at Electronic city, as five of my friends were waiting there and
                                      he agreed and he himself ask to stop the bus to driver, But the driver didn't stop at electronic city bus stop,
                                      even the bus has more than 8 vacate seats.We all ran to catch the bus while it crossing the stop even other corporation
                                      buses were stoppped there(Salem, Chennai, etc).While the time three more buses are stopped in the bus stop but that driver seen us
                                      and doesn't stop. More than 15 people were waiting for that bus.After crossed that stopping my friend ask to that driver
                                      but that driver scold my friend and the way of treat is not good and he used unnecessary words to him.After Osur only the bus got full if you have doubt please
                                      the report on the day service.

                                        I had a travel in government bus from karur to Erode.Bus No TN33 N 2607 Date 27/4/2011 time 8.40pm.I gave 100 rupees to conductor for 22 rupees because i dont have change.But the Conductor didnt give me the balance amount upto my designation.Atlast he make a note in ticket backside and signed.The very next day i asked in kavindapadi Branch they told me that the conductor did not remit my balance.
                                        Also this is a conformed cheat.

                                        I also make a letter to kavindapadi Branch manager on 30/4/2011.But he did not response till now.So please make a proper remedy and also i have the original ticket with the conductor signature.
