Address: | Chennai, Tamilnadu |
Date: 19-Oct-2020 Bus No. TN23N2559 departed at 4PM from Chennai MGR bus terminal. From Chennai MGR CMBT bus stand to Hosur. This is a deluxe bus which supposed to operate by stopping at specific important bus terminals.
When the bus started from Chennai the seats were 60% full.
But, In this bus the conductor didn’t follow the bus stop rules and he stopped, boarded and dropped people at about 12 stops before reaching vellore itself and allowed more than 20 passengers by stand ( most of the people are not traveling between main bus stops, they are getting in Andy dropping off at local stops like local buses). Most importantly this act by conductor forced people to not to follow and violate the social distancing norms mentioned by the TN health department and also I believe there should be some rules for stops considering journey duration and passengers safety as well.
Attached the bus picture, journey tickets and passengers crows pictures.
Considering people safety and about the society in this pandemic situation, Strict action has to be taken to avoid these kind of violations in the future

Manapparai to Trichy
Conductor name :Ramamurthy

I bought a ticket for Rs.33 rupees (20+10+3) while going from (Manapparai to Trichy) . The conductor (Ramamurthy) argued that you only paid 13 rupees, give 20 rupees again. I was a college student and could not argue with him. I lost 20 rupees. Those traveling there know that I paid Rs.33. But he didn't accept it and took 20 rupees more from me. He refused to give the remaining change to some of my fellow passengers. His name is not on his uniform. When I asked the driver what was the conductor's name, he said, “Can't tell the conductor's name, what can you do.
