I am regular customer in that shop no.105/krishna kil st, mannady, nera thamnbu chetty st, corner shop, last week on saturday around 9.0 pm i came to shop to buy a quarter bottle & i payed 1 500 rupee note, after taking aquarrter bottle the sop keeper mr. Madan as given me change of rs.45/-only instead of 345/- &the bottle as given by mr. Elumali and i aws forget to get back the rs.345/- after i went back to inside the bar from same building at time of found that i am taken balnce of rs345/ instead of 45/-only & i went and ask mr. Madan once you left is place we ca't now there are so many people coming that time how i will now and he got visting card you come tommorrow if we had extra amount we will call you, today i went and ask with him with the proof my company voucher showing but he was busing me badly. Is is happen to many people these two guys are doing cheating at is time after 9 o'clock & some unwanted people's coming and taking the bottle case in the auto every day pls advise in this regards.

Tasmac located near thiruvanmiyur post office i. E. Near thiruvanmiyur signal is a nuisance for the passerby. It creates a huge traffic nuisance including people consuming alcohol in the main road - parking of auto, van bikes etc on the road itself which creates a traffic jam and a heavy urine smell can be felt while passing through there. It becomes more worse during winter seasons where a heavy water accumulates in the area the sewage will be let open on the road itself. Womens who ride scooters alone or along with kids are being teased by these drunks as well... Tasmac officials should take required action against these nuisance creators. Our request is not to close the tasmac shops. If people want to drink let them drink. But the public - especially womens and kids should not be affected because of some drunked nuisance creators. Please do the needful

Dear sir,

I am from urapakkam, we are facing the problem of non availability kf beer in tasmac (Urapakkam and thailavaram) and same time the bar owners selling kf beer while tasmac is open. The bar owners selling kf beer for rs-170/- (Rs — 30 extra for coolin purpose) tasmac sellers handover all quantity to bar owners for commission, so plaes take immediate action for this. And also helps us to buying all beer items...

We noticed that the tasmac shops are collecting more than the mrp rates mentioned on the products.

For eg. On the 180ml british empire premium brandy mrp is stated as inr 200/-. But they are collecting inr 205 to 210/-.

If beer mrp is inr 120/-, they are collecting inr 130/- without cooling & inr 140/- with cooling. Hope govt. Has fixed inr 120/- which is inclusive of cooling charges.

I know that previously also many has complained about this. But no action is taken from your side.

Pls look into the above issue asap.

I am staying in thiruvanmiyur.in lb road there is a tasmac shop which is a big nuisance to the commuters. Few months back they closed it as a part of present govt's one of the propaganda on which they ensured the voters to close few tasmac first for public safety. But in few days they agained opened it. The drukard citizens are laundering happily in mid of the road and lying naked on platform is a big tortures to all passer bys. This shop is exactly in main road which is a conjunction to omr and ecr and other near areas. I also see children below age of 18 are carrying liquors. I wonder why government is not cared abt the people around this area? We all pay tax to access the road freely without any disturbance and not to adjust and risk our lives by walking in mid of the road. Also it is difficult for people to access the shop like pharmacy, rice shops and other as these drunkards are roaming on entire side. I request the concerned authorities to take action.

I have seen a lot of complaints about tasmac elite being over charging for liquors way above their mrp. I am not sure if this is the right forum as the complaints made here are falling on deaf ears. But what option do i have as a fellow citizen and a honest tax payer of this country. Hence, i am once again humbly requesting you to please take this issue seriously. We have hard earned money and we are ready to pay price of liquors at mrp. But anything above it actually insults the law itself. And it's not with selected tasmac' s or in a particular area. This experience is the same through the state. And if you are buying from elite then the price can even go up by 15 to 20%.

The worst part is their refusal to pay the bills which in no other government organisation can you see. On one side government is asking people to insist on getting bills and on other hand their own shops are refusing to pay bills.

My humble request again is to please look into the issue of tasmac overcharging the products and refusing to pay bills.

Hi, i bought a bottle of wine at the elite tasmac outlet located in vivira mall, navalur (Omr), chennai on[protected], the mrp mentioned in the bottle was rs. 1280/- however while billing the person working there asked me to pay rs. 1350 /-, when i questioned he said that's how it works. I had to pay rs. 70/- extra from the mrp for a bottle of wine and no bill was provided. I wish to bring this your attention and hope proper action will be taken soon. Thanks.

Sir, the shop number 5113 located in vasanthanagar madurai district charging 5 rs for quarter and 10 rs for beer. I asked why charged extra, the employees were very rude.in a shop 3 employees working without id card. One of them is not employee but inside the shop. I have also recorded. And the shop number is not mentioned and they kept the board hidden. Not only this shop. All the tasmac shops are charging more than mrp price. Please take action sir. Thank you

This is to complain about all the shops in kodaikanal. There is not a single shop in kodaikanal that does not overcharge. They do not display the shop numbers, will not give you a bill and are extremely rude. Yesterday, a friend of mine when to a shop near the wood depot in kodaikanal and was charged rs. 1000/- for a bottle of signature whisky which is supposed to be around 740/-. When asked why the man in the shop was really rude and asked him to go to another shop. There is not a single shop which sells the liquor at a reasonable rate. This has been going on for years, and no one seems to take any action. When we asked one salesman, once, he said that they had to take extra because all people in the dept. Had to be paid!! They always take 10 to 80 rupees extra (Depending on how many ml bottle you buy) but now they are demanding a lot more! Please do something! Tourists are really, really fleeced very badly.!! Please!!

Tasmac operating at perambur ramana nagar sell the liquor even after 10:00 pm sinc it's a residential area after so many struggling we have closed the bar premises after that we dnt face big issue from tat tasmac. Recently have noticed that many are drinking around tat tasmac till 11:30 pm later found that the tasmac never closes at 10:00pm as per tamil nandu govt order.. They are selling the liquor till 11:30pm.. When i approached the sales man they are saying am checking accounts.. I requested them to close by 10:00pm they reply back with some offensive languages.. Since am living around thr that is my rights to request to close the tasmac by 10:00pm.. Please take immediate action on the sales man who used crude language and the respective complaint above..

Sir, i bought a wine bottle to gift my friend at around 8:30pm today (28th dec 17) from the tasmac elite outlet at gokul arcade, adyar, chennai. The mrp of this bottle (Redsea 750ml) is mentioned as rs280 in the bottle whereas the billing staff was demanding rs340 for it. When i asked, i was not given proper details. I insisted for a bill and i was provided with a hand scribed bill with no carbon copy or from a proper bill book. I have attached...

We have purchased and consumed sterren 7 beer in the shop no 2272 chinnayampalayam. The beer taste and quality is entirely different. After seeing mfg date i got shocked the mfg dated 3rd june 2016.in this product expiry mentioned as best before 6 month but more than 15 months the product will be sold in govt tasmac. I asked bill the shop keeper is hesitated so i called and given tasmac customer complaint and cc no 22038 dated 11th dec 2017.

On 5th nov. 2017 the shop @ poompuhar nagar charged rs.800 for 750 ml of bacardi lemon as agaisnt rs.720/= (Rs.80/= excess) when mrp of rs.720/= is printed on the bottle if you charge rs.80 extra (11% extra) it is an offence and cheating. I took 1 750ml royal challenge which costs 720 and 1 375ml signatures which costs 360. But the shopkeeper took 1200 for both. When i asked mrp is less but refused telling everywhere it is like that and demanded money and took from me. Please make sure this should not happen to any other citizen. Take necessary action based on this complaint.

The tasmac operating diagonally back side of a2b guduvanchery and dominos is a big nuisance. Our residential plot where we have built a small house for our self is constantly invaded by people who are buying alcohol from this tasmac and are always creating problems. Recently, 3 new tasmac shops has been opened starting from erikarai bus stop till dhanalakshmi nagar main road, not even at a distance of half kms. Due to this, heavy traffic occurs in these areas due to tasmac lovers roaming all over the road, most of the time. Requesting you to remove or move tasmac shops somewhere. There is also a tasmac shop within small distance from velammal school, not even at a half km distance.

Almost 6-7 tasmac shops is formed in overall alapakkam main road in a distance of 2 kms. There is always a congestion throughout the road and many people suffer. The person, who is coming out from the shop, losing consiousness most of the time, causing disturbance to others. Kindly request our chennai corporation to take necessary action before any major consequences occur in this area.

Sir, i bought bacardi apple 180ml bottle that bottle was already sealed open and it’s filled with low cost vodka fully and charged extra price also, i writing this complaint to you because your in top position to take actions on cheaters in that shop, please consider this complaint as urgent and take necessary actions on shop employees and supervisors and save people.

The dispensing clerks in this tasmac outlet at the above mentioned shopping arcade at adayar, gandhi nagar, regularly charge rs.20 above the mrp per bottle. If to avoid that we insist on paying by our credit or debit cards even then they are entering 20rs above mrp saying they are doing that as per instructions from above. They have also put up a note to that effect.in other words, they want to tell us that either way we have to pay rs. 20 above the mrp. This is an extralegal procedure that has no validity much as we do not mind paying what is often insisted as 2% above mrp for credit/debit card service charges. The problem here is if we use a card we are charged 20rs per bottle above mrp plus the 2% charges for using a card for payments.

Kindly stop this sustained looting that never seems to end despite thousands of complaints.

The residents of kolapakkam urge you to remove the tasmac liquor shop which is located in kolapakkam main road. There are flats near the liquor shop which causes immense disturbance from the liquor drinkers. Many people urinate near the locality.
It's causing huge disturbance to the traffic and the commuters. Women always has strong sense of fear while roaming at night times. At weekends, there is huge rush which is causing extreme disturbance to the public.
It would be great if you could remove the liquor shop at the earliest.
