I have got my offer on 31st March 23, accepted on 5th April 23. After that the status showing in ibegin is "offer accepted BGC initiate and onboarding process" till date this the same. I have two issues.
1. Since 5th of April I'm repeatedly asking my HR to correct my form 9 in online forms as one of the details is incorrect. But she said I need to have patience as the internal team is correcting that. I want to know how long I need to keep patience for this as it is more than 3 months now?
2. Since the day I have accepted my offer letter, as everyone said my BGC is initiated. But I have got my house and bank verification done after 13th June 23. While accepting the offer letter I have committed that I can join on 12th of June, so why my BGC is still not completed? Since April 5th to 13th June it was more than 2 months. And still now no update about my BGC confirmation and Onboarding date in ibegin portal. Lastly I have followed up with my HR since April but when I haven't got any response or onboarding date by the end of May'23, I decided to call her repeatedly and then only she said that I will get my onboarding in July'23 for sure. But after getting the news that everyone else's joining is delayed I called her again today, 10th of July to confirm what is happening as I haven't got any response from her side even after sending emails regularly. But she was so casual while talking and said that I need to wait, but when I
asked till how long ? She said she cannot commit any date or month! And when I asked that you've only said that my joining will be in July'23, she said see we're waiting for client's confirmation we cannot commit to you now and I was shocked! I'm jobless since June 1st as I left my last company in May 31st 23. And now I have no idea when am I going to join!
I have huge respect for TCS, but how unprofessional is this? I'm the only bread earner in my family and I've huge responsibility as my mother is also sick. Also this delay is hampering my career for future. In TCS there is a policy that no one can join if it's more than 2years of gap, I'm already having 1.5yrs of gap in my career and this will again add more gap in my resume, and who's supposed to bear this loss? I'm requesting TCS to please look into this matter as I cannot survive after this month. This is giving me nightmare. Was this information helpful? |
