Tata Docomo — Cancellation of account not done | |||
I was using TATA Photon+ no.[protected], account number[protected] till sep 2014 for about 4.5 years. i had moved to a different location and tata Docomo's coverage was not available in my new place hence i cancelled the services byt sep 2014. But the cancellation was put on safe "custody mode" the consequence of this was not informed to me(6 months clause) at that time. what it means by safe custody is that post 6 months they again reactivated the account and started generating bill, but i was not using the services. I had raised multiple requests but they are not agreeing to cancellation of account. the last complaint i raised request number is[protected] in their website, but to no avail. For one of the requests i got a call saying the cancellation is done and bill amount was waived off, but the next day some other call comes up to pay the bill. Now i am getting a call saying that I have to pay the bill in order to avoid legal action. I have all the bills they generated post march where it clearly say 0 internet usage. This definitely is wrong on their part to charge customers when clearly asked to cancel the account. this gives me mental torture as i am spending hours and hours of time discussing this with their customer care regularly when i originally stopped using it for close to an year.
