[Resolved] Tata Docomo — Complaint regarding Tata Docomo Ghatkopar west branch | |||
Hi, I am Reshma Shriyan. Today (22/8/2015) I went to tata docomo ghatkopar west branch to cancel my Tata Photon Max wifi as I no longer need it. There was a queue. After a long wait, it was my turn. She asked if i want to convert to Prepaid or cancel, as converting to prepaid i will have to recharge every month according to her and she said it would get cancelled automatically if i do not recharge. I chose the option of cancelling. I told her I want to cancel. She was continuously busy on phone and did not seem like she was really paying attention to what needs to be done. Later after few minutes, I asked "how much more time will it take" as she was completely ignoring me. She replied 10 mins. Again she was busy and said you have toll free number right..i said what?? i was clueless what she was trying to do.. because i already knew cancellation can only be done in branch and not on call. So i asked in detail, she said system is slow and it might take a while . She said "she will message me request number and i will get it. I being skeptical asked her...how will i get the messgae., did u feed in something in ur database ?? she replied back..system is slow.. I again asked..ohh..then will you remember my photon number or me ..or will i again have to come here...she said "no..i will send u a message.." i asked do i need to forward or send the number somewhere...? she gave me in written in a piece of paper ... i will get the number starting from 50... and she gave me a toll free number for inquiry... i went to tata docomo ghatkopar west branch around 5 pm 22/8/2015, and i did not get the message yet (23/8/2015 12:34 AM) ... Note : All the customer care people seemed rude, irresponsible, lazy and to add to it ..system was slow... whatever she wrote in a small piece of paper i have it with me.. I would not want to pay the bill starting from 5th september (new billing cycle). I have already been there once today, as i did not get message of request number i will have to go again. But I want my tata photon max wifi cancelled at the earliest. Tomorrow is sunday and they did not take my request yet in the system (as i did not get any cancel request number which the customer service told i will get). I had no outstanding bill ...I showed her my email of latest bill payment acknowledgement receipt on her request. I am complaining because, I have read many complaints like this before going to the branch and i experienced the same. I wonder why still the same case for all?? Did chat with Tata photon customer care online, next day after the visit to the branch. Cancel request was not made by branch people, it was made by chat representative online after the chat. And then with regular follow ups with the chat representative I got my issue resolved, got several calls after that. Tata DoCoMo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
