[Resolved] Tata Docomo — deduction of huge amount due to the lapse of data pack | |||
on june 19th 2014 while using the internet on tata docomo having mobile number [protected], free internet data pack having 40mb was being used. Only the websites of gmail and an another google page was kept open for approximately 8 minutes. once the work was done we turned of the data pack only to see Rs.314.00 getting deducted from the main balance which is a very huge amount. when i spoke to the customer care they were not ready to launch a complaint. My concerns are 1. i didnt get the message when the data pack got expired. 2. how can Rs 314 be charged if one keeps 2 web pages opened only for 8 minutes. Kindly look into the matter and please help us to refund the amount deducted. Was this information helpful? | |||

We regret for the inconvenience caused to you.
As per our discussion over call, we would like to inform you that as per our records I have found that the balance deducted on your account of Rs.314/- was due to GPRS browsing as there was less data in the account on[protected] at 05:53 PM. Kindly note that when data in the account is less than 10mb and volume content of the size browsed is more, then the balance will be deducted from the main balance. Hence, refund is not possible.
Kindly note that while browsing the web pages and the size of the data usage has exceeded more that the available limit and for the same, the balance got deducted from your main balance.
