Tata Docomo — docomo-value added services fraud | |
Luckily I managed to get ported to Airtel. but I had the worst experience with docomo. 950 charged on value added services and that too in a matter of 10 days. and in the detailed bill it shows as international sms to uk no. [protected]. apparently I realised I clicked some pop up window ok without knowing it will be charged and some international sms costing 5 will be sent to that no. but this is completely fraud. I have not used any service or sent any sms to any international no. and I have clicked ok not more than 5 times and they have charged me for 100 times. when I called customer care they were very rude. they barred my calls saying I have crossed credit limit and when I spoke to customer care, he was very rude. I had to pay first before seeing the bill and only then services will be restored. Visited a store to ask. they were in the process of shutting shop permanently and the staff was very rude as well. after that I got the bill and tried to speak to customer care again but no answer and all stores permanently shut. Yesterday I got a call from docomo. they ask me to pay the bill they will cut 500.i said I will pay what I have used and nothing more. they said they will send lawyer notice. My overall pending bill is 1450. out of which 950 is value added service. I would have paid if they minus the value added service but now they will have to spend a lot of time and effort in court for this meagre amount. Was this information helpful? | |
