[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Refund of security deposit for corporate connection ([protected])

Hi, I am tired of following up for my deposit refund amount for tata docomo corporate connection [protected] ( docket number[protected]. I am writing mails to them since June 2014 and every time I hear the same response "we assure you that your problem is being addressed". I had deposited INR 3000 for activating the services - Roaming and ISD while using the connection and I was told that once I cancel the connection, I would be refunded the amount. Since I had already shifted the base location from Pune to Bangalore due to personal constraints, I was told that the security deposit will be refunded in terms of a cheque to my then address in Bangalore.This conversation happened in June 2014 and I was supposed to get the cheque after 60 days of registering the request i.e. 31st July. THIS DEADLINE WAS SET BY TATA DOCOMO CUSTOMER CARE TEAM and I had agreed to that. After that there was a series of follow ups on the refund. Initially I used to get auto response followed by a personal mail/call from an agent, but later, they stopped even bothering to respond to my queries. In the meantime, I had to shift the city again from bangalore to hyderabad on account of my job. I even offered the customer care team that if they cannot refund the security deposit to my present address, I will send one of my friend to collect the refund cheque to their Pune outlet since it is almost impossible for me to travel to Pune just to collect the cheque. But I didnt hear anything from them on that too! WHY ARE THEY TAKING SO MUCH TIME IN RESOLVING SUCH A SMALL REQUEST SIMPLY BECAUSE I AM NO LONGER THEIR CUSTOMER ???? Please resolve the request at the earliest.

I do not know what will be your resolution about the refund, but one thing I wanted to inform that I am no longer residing in the Bangalore premises. I have shifted to Hyderabad.

Please let me know the outcome at the earliest. Though a very small amount of money is involved in this case, this reflects your customer service at the end of the day !!!

Are you guys taught during your training to use this kind of template to answer customer queries ?? I am also tired of same words, same language and same old tricks to deceive customers...I have my mailbox flooded with your readymade answers...!!!


Now listen tata docomo customer care, since i have closed my corporate connection in june 2014 itself, there is no point in telling me that you tried to contact me in the earlier no. By now, you might have allotted it to some other person. First check your database. Please do not try to think that others are fools to listen to your stories every time.

And for your kind information, i said that i am tired of contacting the customer care through mails, that is why i chose to raise the issue through consumer complaints portal. In such a scenario, how can you ask me to reach through your mail id ? Is [protected]@tatadocomo.com is the only channel to reach to your sernior officials ??? If that is the case, then i must say that you are the biggest thugs in telecom market. You do not hesitate to take others money as caution deposit but when it is time to settle the amount, you just vanish.

Now, let me compare your case with the other players. Where you are taking caution money deposit for isd and international roaming, airtel and other companies are not using such tricks !!! They are not taking any caution money from customers and still surviving and in fact are doing far far better than your company.

Now you think where your products are lying compared to the market competition.

Do not force me to resort to other channels...I can publish all the emails from customer care (With the customer care person names) in the internet !!! So think how to resolve my issue at the earliest and take this as my last public warning.
