I am really surprised with tata housing's pro activeness shown when the customer needs to purchase a tata housing property. All the pro's of the product is highlighted. The follow up's are amazing trying to convince the customer the rates are going to increase and this is the right time to invest. Also the brighter side is shown that one can withdraw the application within 45 days of making the initial payment with less focus on subject to receipt of allotment letter which can happen within two days. Our excitement of being an tata housing member since it's carrying a brand name TATA was so overwelming that we actually missed reading between the lines. I am sure this email would make no difference in the decision taken by Tata Housing. We as a common man are thoroughly disappointed with Tata's rigidness to refund a small amount of Rs. 1, 11, 000/-. We had put you a mail on 13th Sep requesting withdrawal from this property, as there is a sudden unforeseen family emergency (my father-in-Law is in the hospital), for which we need to divert our funds. Even though we are very keen to own a Tata property (we managed to convince my parents of buying this property, even though they initially had a reservation for it !!), this emergency is forcing us to look at withdrawal, due to requirement of funds. 2. Understand that you prepared the Allotment letter on 9th, with our request coming in on 13th (a matter of 4 days), we received the letter on the 16th of Sep. Now, we made the request only post the emergency coming up. 3. Given Tata Foundation's attention to support personnel needs, request you to consider this as a special request, given that this request is being made as the situation is beyond our control Nandakumar, since you were very supportive during our buying the property, we tried to reach you to discuss this aspect, before we made the request official, but i believe you were also caught up in a family emergency, hence we could not speak.
