On October 30 2021, I was traveling with my old parents from Bangalore to Palakkad Kerala. Since being a long weekend and some road closures there was bumper to bumper traffic on some parts on our way. Just 4-5 kms before reaching my destination the clutch pedal just went dead. It would go down and will not come up again. There was burning smell coming out of my AC vents. I contacted the Tata 24/7 support and the car was taken to the service center by the local dealer the next day. I was informed that the issue happened because of clutch over heating in bumper to bumper traffic, they've checked the clutch and the issue is resolved.
On February 27, 2022 I was traveling to outskirts of Bangalore hardly 50 Kms from home for a weekend getaway with family consisting infants. To my horror just after reaching half way through it happened again in a busy flyover in Bangalore. The car was hardly driven for an hour before, while there was traffic it was not heavy except in few places. I was stuck at the fly over for 30 mins and then decided to park the car and let it rest for an hour(advised by Tata motors service person) before continuing the rest of the journey. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway turned out to be a nightmare. Why would the clutch overheat like this if driven for sometime under tough conditions. How is the vehicle supposed to be driven in bumper to bumper traffic without using half clutch. I saw in online platforms that this is the common issues across the model. Why is Tata Motors not taking this up and doing enough for its customers?

    The seat covers which were installed were soiled. There were foot marks on dashboard . The car was in pathetic condition from inside, looked like someone had put AC on full speed and was partying inside the car.
    After seat covers were installed the seat was facing the side column

      Purchased the car on 8 jan 202 and on 28 feb 2022 battery is drained, starter motor is jammed. Unable to start the vechile and no assistance from the local dealer at vellore and purchase dealer at chennai.

        Respected Sir/Madam,

        I am Hiren Katkoria, working at Citi Research & Investment as Assistant Vice President at Citi Bank, India. I require kind attention and your help to solve the issue I am facing from Tata Motor Progressive Ashram Road, Ahmedabad.

        I live at Mumbai and my parents like at Ahmedabad. I booked Tata Altroz #Drak edition on 30 December 2021 at Ashram Road showroom and took delivery on 28 January 2022.

        Before booking the car, I have clearly mentioned and explained my situation and availability of address proof to the salesman Mr. Azaz Chauhan. I told him that I don’t have any address on my name at Ahmedabad, I have utility bill on my mother’s name. However, he didn’t inform me that it is not acceptable at RTO office instead he assured me that address proof on my mother’s name will work and he will take care of RTO procedures.

        Their RTO agent haven’t started process till 17 February 2022 when I chased salesman and talked to Azaz Chauhan’s team leader Mr. Vishnu. After that my documents was rejected by RTO officer due to address proof. They clearly asked for address proof on my name for Ahmedabad address, especially Aadhar card, which I didn’t have. On the humble request from Mr. Vishnu to cooperate and update Aadhar card with Ahmedabad address, I took leave from my job and got letter/certificate from MLA/MP office and updated my Aadhar card immediately. I sent receipt of Aadhar update to Mr. Azaz, to Mr. Vishnu and Mr. Rambhai on Tuesday, 22 February 2022 at 1pm. With surprised none was acted on the same till next afternoon. Mr. Rambhai (RTO agent) submitted the document to RTO office on Wednesday, 23 Feb. 2022 at 4pm and inform me with very vague answer that it will take another 3-4 days and also depend of availability of officers at RTO office.

        My question here is that Is there only one officer at RTO office and no other officers are working and vehicles don’t get approval if one officer is not available.

        I chased all three persons (Mr. Azaz, Mr. Rambhai & Mr. Vishnu), Mr. Azaz was not ready to accept any responsibilities same as Mr. Rambhai. However, Mr. Vishnu was chased Mr. Rambhai for me but no luck as Mr. Rambhai gave same vague answers.
        I inquired at Tata Motors’ other showroom and they confirmed that RTO process takes minimum 7days and maximum 14 days. However, in my case, nobody took action for first 20days and now Mr. Azaz and Mr. Rambahi are not ready to help me with the same and blame on government department working style. Mr. Vishnu is chasing Mr. Rambhai but he is giving same vague answers to Mr. Vishnu as well. I requested to Mr. Vishnu to change their RTO agent and work with other RTO person who help and expedite the process.

        I am in very difficult situation as I have to stay at Ahmedabad till the RTO process is over and my wife and daughter, both are alone at Mumbai from last couple of months. I can’t cross Gujarat state border without RTO passing and I can’t leave car as it is at Ahmedabad as I don’t have proper parking space as well as my aged parents can’t look after it. I am mentally harassed by Mr. Azaz and Mr. Rambhai due to their irresponsible behaviour and vague answers. I am stressed due to this situation and due to worry about my family leaving alone at Mumbai.

        Also, Mr. Azaz Chauhad (salesman) didn’t inform me that it will take 30-35 days to complete RTO process to get the number place and car passing and another 15-20 days for RC book after date of delivery at the time of booking. He informed at after “full payment” and at the time of delivery of car.

        If he had informed me RTO process duration and didn’t lie about address proof acceptance at RTO office that I could have booked vehicle from another Tata Motors showroom at Mumbai. He lied me to get the top model order which can earn him good incentives and bonus.

        The car was delivered to me on 28 January 2022 in the condition when I first saw at stock yard. The cleaner was cleaning car since I reached to showroom 10:30am till 1:00pm but the car had water patches as it is and no proper cleaning was done. I have done some cleaning myself, taking cleaning cloth from cleaner. They park my car near under construction building which made my car very dirty.

        Mr. Azaz was always behind me to provide him a good rating since day one and he messaged me at night at around 10pm or 10:30pm to give immediate review with 5-star rating on Google. I requested him that I will do it next day but he didn’t convince and asked to provide feedback and rating at that moment. He immediately called me when he came to know that I gave 8 out of 10 for him and showroom to Tata Motors feedback team. He clearly asked me to give 10 out of 10 ratings to feedback and when he arranges anther call from feedback team. He calls me anytime for his selfish purpose but now he doesn’t bother about my situation and pending RTO process of my car.

        It is my humble request to you and other Tata Motors’ officials to help me to solve my issue soonest and take stick action against Mr. Azaz Chauhan’s irresponsible behaviour.

        Thank you in advance and looking for positive outcome of my problem soon so I can go to my family who is alone at Mumbai.

        Mr. Gautam Rawal, General Manger at Tata Motors helped me to solve the issue within a day time which was dragged unnecessarily by sales Azaz Chauhan and his team lead Mr. Vishnu.

          Dear Team, Please help, We have purchased brand new car Tata Altroz from Midas Motors NH - 58, Muzaffarnagar (U.P.) complain regarding driver side fender paint peels off on its own at random after washing like paint broken minor cuts I am shocked 5 star rating car paint is very bad quality.
          Please help me & resolve our issue asap. Photos not attached due to my file size is large.

            I am Robin Prasad the owner of tata nexon xms which I have purchased on 28th December 2020 from Basudeb motors hazaribagh, jharkhand. I want to say that tata motors company had provided me 1 year extended warranty for late delivery of my vehicle. But till date I have not got. For this I have talked many times to sales manager but nothing information I got.
            Recently I have called to territory sales manager which was suggested by [protected]@tatamotors.com but he is not answering my calls also when he picked up once he didn't was much helpful to me
            he just ignored my issue and haven't done anything yet. I really want to know what's the problem of tata motors why they can't see that the relationship with customers should be more important than any job.
            Lastly but not the least I just want my 1 year extended warranty which was said to provide me from tata motors but till yet it's more than 1 year I haven't got. Also please change the territory sales manager of jharkhand if possible as he don't know customer relationship and behaviour.

            So I request you please solve my problem as soon as possible or get me a phone number to whom I can contact for my problem.

              We purchased Tata Tiago in Jan 2018. It was sparingly used with an average usage of around 15 km / day.

              The total mileage of the car is around 25000 km in 4 years o[censored]se.

              On Feb 26, 2022 the car stalled while traveling to Gurgaon and we were stuck on the road amidst heavy traffic. we pulled the car on to side and called go-mechanic to tow the car to destination.

              The technician informed that the clutch plate of the car has worn out and as a result the car is not accelerating after shifting the gears.

              We are surprised and highly disappointed by the performance of the car which has a worn-out clutch plate when it has travelled for 25000 km only in 4 years o[censored]se.

              I would request you to kindly take cognizance towards the negligence of in manufacturing the vehicle and use of sub-standard parts in the vehicle which tend to fail within only 4 years o[censored]se.

              I would request you to get the complete check - up of all the parts of the vehicle and get all faulty parts repaired on an urgent basis as we are still stuck in Gurgaon.

                  With reference to above-cited subject it is stated that from past 3-4 months, our vehicle is being regularly sent at your autohrized workshop (i.e. LOTUS MOTORS, BHILWARA) for service and repair work and in this matter, following repair works were completed by the service team :
                  1. name of work - (Assembly strut front RH & LH, middle rail LH, front shock absorber), vide bill no. ILMOBL[protected] dt. 07.02.2022, Amount Rs. 27, 150/-
                  2. name of work - (Alternator related), vide bill no. ILMOBL[protected] dt. 05.01.2022, Amount Rs. 1058/-
                  3. name of work - (general service and engine head repair work), vide bill. no. ILMOBL[protected] DT. 16.10.2021, Amount Rs. 28, 743/-.

                  After completion of above repair/service work, above said vehicle is not working properly and its openable gate was not repaired satisfactorily at all. Although your service team was instructed to repair the gate completely before handing over the vehicle to our transport team. And now, your workshop representative is again asking to send the vehicle to replace the bearing and repair the gate. Hence the big question is that why the vehicle was not repair completely during earlier repair work. Because, it is not possible to send the vehicles to your workshop against and against for similar type of job work and payment may also be not possible to release due to our internal audit. It is also stated that this vehicle is used by dairy staff for official field work and such problem is not acceptable at all.
                  It is also stated that above said vehicle is not working satisfactorily from the very first year[protected] of purchasing the vehicle by us. Earlier engine was also repaired/replaced only due to AC system not working properly, which is still a very big problem as it not resolved yet.

                  Hence, it is cleared that service and repair work done by your authorized workshop is not satisfactory at all.

                  Please do needful and instruct your authorized workshop (M/s Lotus Motors, Bhilwara) to repair the above-said vehicle on a priority basis.

                    I've booked for Tata Punch Adventure with Rythm Pack from Tata Motors urs car at Mysore showroom on 3rd December 2021. Since then many a times I contacted the sales person for the delivery, but they are unable to commit a delivery date. I had paid 21000 as a booking amount and availed loan for this car, already one Emi deducted from my account and second Emi due on next week. Every month I am losing 4500 as interest with out owning car. Please provide me the car within this month or provide me refund. I can't wait further. I got reward for supporting Indian car maker.

                      Model - Nexon XZ + Diesel
                      Problem - infotainment system back panel and base crack opening.
                      I had give for third service at Hubli tata service centre and raised the issue.
                      Harman is almost denying my claim and even tata motors official is denying my claim and they are stating the product come like this only by default.
                      But I have seen new cars and all is good with infotainment system.
                      So I want to get warranty claim for infotainment system which is being denied by Harman and Tata motors officials.

                        Hi,

                        I am facing challenge registering on IRA App. I am not receiving the OTP on my mobile.

                        My IRA is already activated and have checked all the possible reasons with customer as to why I am not receiving the OTP. Customer Care confirmed that everything seems to be in order. They are just raising the incident and escalating it further but not resolving the issue. The incident number is IN[protected].

                        I would request TATA Motors to look into this and resolve this challenge as soon as possible. I am really frustrated now and have started doubting my decision of buying TATA Car.

                          I booked tata tiago from Karmeta showroom Jabalpur on 23 January 2022. Where I was promised the delivery on 15 February which was a big comment from their dealers I know. But wasn't delivered at that time. Another promise was made to deliver my car by the end of the month and yesterday they informed me that they can't deliver that promise as well.
                          I wanted to surprise my wife on our anniversary (16 feb). I'm utterly disappointed by the way they are dealing with the situation. Give a straight NO if you can't deliver on my desired date so I can go with another company. Don't make me wait.

                              I have orederd tata tigor xz plus on 14 feb 2022. Main worst things are
                              1 Door lock buttons old model
                              2 No driver arm rest
                              3 hump in back
                              I am very disappointed with this model.
                              Who designed this tata tigor suspend him immediately😡😡.
                              Atleast he should have some sense while making this design.
                              change it immediately.

                                Tata Safari Manufacturing defect

                                Hi,
                                I have purchased the Safari XT+ model year 2021 from KHT motors.
                                it ran 7000 KM successfully.

                                On 16th Feb 2021, while driving on NH 48 from Banglore to Bijapur at speed of 70km/hr, tata Safari Bonet suddenly opened and smashed on Windshield.

                                If the bonnet is open there is an alarm system in CAR to inform and it should not open while driving.
                                it got opened after 4 hrs of Drive.

                                I purchased Tata Nexon Dark Automatic from Saheb Automotive, Patiala, Punjab on 28 th Oct, 2021.
                                First, There were several confident commitments before booking the car like- 1. BH series number, 2. Proper finance support, 3. service, 4. free accessories, 5. several features of the car etc. But after booking, they changed. Finally when the car delivered it was not even tested properly. within 10days, the car needed to jumpstart and that arrangement also dome by us only.
                                However, now I have some more issue. I have not received the RC still now and it is more than 4 months past. I tried and trying to keep in touch with the showroom, but they either dont pick or respond in litlle work and ask 1-2more day. Even They are asking me for more money.
                                I got multiple warning from police for the same. In such cases the mental harassment, humiliation and fear who will pay for it. even if I get any legal issue due to this, who will be responsible?
                                I have sent mail to Tata Motors, filed complaint through complain number[protected], Dec 25, 2021), but no solution.

                                I am Feeling helpless now. feeling mentally low, even lost my self confidence also. I am so disturbed that I having getting complain from my boss in workplace too. who will pay for those losses already happened and the coming ones.
                                This is my last Hope. otherwise I dont know what I ll do.

As per Paytm bank, only 100/- will be charged for tag issue and balance of Rs.400/- should be added to balance but only Rs.150/- got credited.

                                  2. No Invoice has been generated for payments made towards Accessories, extended warranty and AMC. At least there is no document of receipt for payments received.

                                    As I have purchased new Tata tiago XZ 1.2 petrol in mar2019.

                                    I noticed that in my tiago some parts are missing missing
                                    Like
                                    1) bonnet insulation (here is no damping hood or black insulation from day one, pic attached)
                                    2)back wheels mud projector sheet(not mud flap- please see attached pic)

                                    I blindly trust on Tata product so thought that may be it's not given but I saw the same model of my friend having all above install by company

                                    Please make available above to me also

                                      I got my new Tata Altroz XE (Base Model) Car in end of November 2021 from Hanumangarh Tata Showroom. I contacted them to add Remote Center Locking and Rear Power window, which is with additional cost. They informed me that item will be deliver in 10-15 days.
                                      I contacted them again in end of December, and multiple times in January. I contacted customer support in start of February 2022 and make a complaint. They contacted me to senior manager of Sri Ganganagar Showroom when he said "Rear power window is not available in Tata service center and Remote Center Locking they have ordered it and it's in transit which will deliver in 5-7 days"
                                      Yesterday i contacted them again and now they said "Items is already showing in transit in their software but they don't know when it will delivery, it can take 1 day or 10 days or 15 days"

                                      It's around 3 month when i ordered the item but still item is not delivered and not exact status when it will be deliver.
                                      Tata Motors customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
