I bought Tata Hexa on March 2019, In the first year of the purchase, I had a major electrical issue. I was driving at night, there was rain and suddenly I lost power of my wiper, headlamps and central lock, it happened in the weekend and this happening during night time with heavy rain, me and my family was left stranded on road.
I had taken to the service center to which they said this is caused due to fuse problem in the car.
Now 2 years has passed and recently, I am seeing white smoke from the car exhaust accompanied by sudden loss of coolant fluid. I again took the car service center and after checking for 4 days, the service center personnel has said it is due to EGR cooler failure. Coolant is leaking into EGR cooler and it is getting evaporated into steam is what they said but I suspect it is something more and I am afraid it can lead to a blown gasket in the future.
As a customer, it is not acceptable for the vehicle to perform this way, the vehicle has hardly reached 20, 000km and I suspect more complaints to come in the distant future, now I'm in warranty period and the issues will be covered but what happens after my warranty period is really frightening, it can cause me to lose Lakhs for such complaints in the future.
Request you to kindly help me with the issues and help me get compensation for the time the car has been in service center and for the mental health issues. Was this information helpful? |
