Tata Motors — Inclusion of Spare Parts charge in Labour Charges

Sir/ Madam, I am writing this to show my concern and displeasure about the fact that happened today, the 23rd July'2015. There has been some spare parts change of my 4 wheeler, Indica Vista from K.B.Motors (authorized dealer of TATA), Rameshwar Shaw Road, Kolkata- 700 014. They provided us with a Tax Invoice wherein, Spare Parts details, rate etc was shown as Rs. 23.81 and the VAT charged was 5% on this Rs. 23.81 along with Labour Charge as Rs. 5, 672.70 and VAT Charged on this Rs. 5, 672.70 is 14%. After speaking to the Advisor of K.B.Motors, Mr. Ganesh Kedia explained that since K.B. Motor is a vendor of TATA Motors they cannot show Spare Parts charge separately and are bound to include the same in Labour Charge. Then in such case, I am charged with higher Service Tax as well as I am in total darkness about the spare part changed of my Indica Vista.
