[Resolved] Tata Motors — nexon xt- auto sensing door lock and auto folding mirror

From the day 1 am facing issue in autodoor lock and mirror folding.

I explained issue with local tata motors workshop, they are saying this is software issue and saying we can fix it bt we dont give grantee if something happens..

My question is all the nexon varient i. E xm, xt, xz and xz+ has got same software and especially my car is facing this issue (Checked with other customers of same varient). I dont how tata motors didn't noticed this and delivery to customers.

This is a serious issue.. I request all the people who are planning to buy new car kindly go through each and every option.

Tata Motors Customer Care's response Hi Prajwal,

We'd like to inform you that the door auto-lock feature has been deleted to meet the Global NCAP’s 5-star safety requirement. This feature has been removed to prevent the accidental lock of the vehicle in the event of an unfortunate crash. All the doors can still be locked/unlocked by the flip of the driver's side lock. Also, for your concern related to the mirror auto fold, you can visit a nearest Tata Motors service station to get the vehicle’s software checked. However, if you require any further assistance, then please help us with your contact number and dealer details via a private message, as it will help us to have the relevant team connect with you to assist further.
