Tata Motors — Tata Nexon -XMA (S) defective car delivered - Safety issues breakdowns from day of delivery

I Have purchased Tata Nexon Petrol XMA-S model on 23-June-2021 from Tata Tafe, Mount Road, chennai.
From the day one, on the way to my home the car stopped in the way within 20 km in the busy mount road.
Had restarted car and my initial thinking was the petrol might be lesser, even though the distance to empty showed 57 km.I filled another 20 liters, but within 2 km, the car again stopped in the road.
Have restarted and reached home not knowing what was the issue.
Took my family to temple the same day and got again stranded in the road, as usual with heavy horns and vehicles behind me getting piled up-frustrated.
Could start again, but in few mins had another bearkdown, could not move after repeated the acceleration, the engine revs..the gear display shows 1st gear but it seems clutch do not engage.
This is great of the risk of accident, as not knowing when the gear will be engaged, might move suddenly due to trying with heavy acceleration and car might get out of control to hit the front vehicles and people.

First day started off with 5 breakdowns.

This issues got worsen and reoccurring in the days to come. Few short trips did not see breakdown even though the car was limping.
My home parking is 3 feet high. I could easily take my scooty up, but the new car could not climb.
It goes reverse when tried to climb, so I had to drive with some speed to park the car, taking risks of hitting the corner beam during turning.
Another couple of breakdown in the busy traffic of mount road after getting number plate from showroom,
no words to describe the pain and risk of the accidents which luckily did not happen yet.

Tata Service persons was not taking the car initially as the car moved even though limped when they tried short distance.

Next day took my kid and cousin daughter to a near by shop- Latha supermarket - (3 km). After shopping, the car did not climp the parking slope. Luckly there was no car behind me..or it would have been a sure accident.
Another couple of breakdowns on the way to home.
keeping kids in my car... made me feel the mistake I had made by buying a faulty manufactured car with all my hard earned money- endangering myself, my family and others.

Took the car to service center in Greams road (couple of more breakdowns on the way) and explained the issues in detail. They checked and did not find any issues in the software.. It seems the updated software was in the car system.
Troubleshooting also did not find any issues. The service guy said he had updated some AMT software and they had took it for a test drive and returned saying everything is normal.
The car broke down before crossing the gate of the service center (instead of main roads)..the service center guys tried and could not move the car.
The engine revs but does not move with display showing gear is engaged. Going to neutral or restarting also did not work. It could not climb the one feet bump, instead it moved reverse. And finally they accepted the issue.
I had given the car to service center on 7th July 2021. (14 days after delivery)..They said they replaced a faulty gear shift lever and delivered the car.
Again facing the same issue.. Breakdown many times on 31 July 21.
Mileage is another issue with only 6-7 km, but primary being breakdown.

Hardly 10 days passed after the said - gear shifter lever is replaced and the car is fixed.
On - 3rd Aug 21, the service team came and picked the car from my home.
Second time they are trying to replace some internal parts on the new car (one month new now).

Breaking down and Acceleration not working is a serious safety issue. Playing down the issue is not acceptable.

Even if the Car is temporarily fixed now what is the guarantee it will not fail in future, as it happened now again in 10 days after fixing the car.
I could not risk the life of myself and family with this defective manufactured car. Getting a defective car with all the issues is devastating.

5 Star rating of Nexon is useless, if the car cannot run, malfunctions out from the factory, endangering the occupants as well the persons on the roads.

I Need REFUND or a REPLACEMENT CAR. Please help me to escalate the issue and get me the refund/replacement. Thanks.
