We had purchased this brand new Safari Jet edition on Dusshera (5th Oct 2022) from Fortune Motors Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
These guys only need customers for achieving their targets, they deliver cars to customer without any PDI/Quality checks. We got our vehicle which was not washed at all, on top of it lots of manufacturing defects, along with punctured tyre.
Emailed and notified these problems to sales team on the same day of delivery, after continuous follow ups finally the service team contacted for rectifying the problems. Also one senior person from the sales team of Fortune motors contacted us and offered INR5000, for stopping this issues, which we rejected.
On 16th Nov 2022 we taken this car to Fortune Motors nerul to fix problems, as per their service teams continuous request. On that day they couldn't fix the entire problems.
Again after their request we had taken the vehicle to the service center on 12th Dec 2022, and had a meeting with Mr. Prakash Bhivde, and on that meeting he was agreed to give us a letter form Fortune Cars regards to all these complaints and agree to mention it was due to the Manufacturing Defects. But after that they again failed to do so or not provided the letter as per discussion, later on 14th Dec 2022, he telephoned us and start arguing with us and challenged us to go legal to resolve it.
Complaints regards to this Car.
1) Vehicle was not cleaned properly at the time delivery
2) Back side Tyre of the vehicle was Puncture
3) Third raw left side chrome window trim and below the body has some sticky objects/glue which was clearly visible on the body paint as well
4) Right side back door was not set or not closing properly
5) Spoiler has some scratches or paint got damaged
6) Back bumper line inside the boot area was not proper or no proper alignment
7) Front left mudguard curve fender was not in proper shape or not aligned
8) Back side door bottom has paint brush tread fixed along with paint
9) Paint issues on exterior along with bubbles on roof
10) steering noise
11) Rear suspension noise
12) Air cutting noise on driver side
DEAR TATA MOTORS,
WHY DONT YOU DISPLAY A BOARD OUTSIDE YOUR DEALERS FOR CUSTOMERS, TO BRING A MECHANIC, TYRE WALA, PAINT WORK TEAM TO CHECK THE VEHICLE BEFORE TAKING DELIVERY ?
