Dear Tata Motors,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the unsafe installation & unprofessional behavior exhibited by your installation personnel during the recent setup of the electric vehicle charging point at my residence.
Firstly, the installation to be carried out prior to the delivery of my car, but the technician only arrived after more than a week of continuous follow-ups post-delivery date, which is unacceptable. During the installation, the cable connecting from the KSEB metering point to the connection point was laid at ground level. When I inquired about the safety of this method—specifically concerns about the cable being torn or damaged by dogs or other factors—the installer responded with bad behavior instead of providing a professional explanation.
Moreover, the installation was done in an unsafe manner, with the team insisting that the house owner must be present throughout the work, which is unreasonable. If the installation personnel were truly experienced, I believe it should have sufficed to simply indicate the installation location without needing constant supervision. To add to my concerns, the cable was installed in a high-risk and unsafe manner, and to make matters worse, the team is now demanding extra charges to rectify their own mistakes.This is both unethical and unprofessional, which is unacceptable.
The showroom, M/s Luxon Tata at Mevaram, Kollam, Kerala, also displayed a lack of responsibility regarding this issues.Due to the ongoing issues and the unprofessional attitude of the Showroom personnel & the installation team, I have come to the decision to cancel my the booking for the Harrier EV that was booked during the same day of booking of Punch EV.
When I tried to reach Tata power they simply demanding for money & claiming that the installation has been completed & they have the authorization form from the customer, but from my side no one gave any such documents.
To highlight this scenario I tried to reach your team through customer care email id & face book messenger & I didn't get any response or feed back from your side.It is disappointing that Tata motors appears to be ignoring these safety issues.
Please make an investigation regarding this issues . I hope this matter will be addressed immediately to avoid any further risks and to improve customer service standards.
