Tata Motors — Urgent Complaint Regarding Repeated Vehicle Failure, Poor Service Quality & Unprofessional Behaviour

Dear Tata Motors Customer Care Team,

I am writing this email to express my extreme disappointment with the service provided by your authorized Tata Motors Service Centre in Sri Ganganagar.

Our vehicle broke down in the Sri Ganganagar market, after which we sent it to your service centre on 29th May for repairs. We paid approximately ₹75, 000 for the repairs, expecting that the issue would be completely resolved.

However, despite spending such a huge amount, the same warning indicator that appeared before the repair is still showing on the dashboard. I have attached the relevant photographs for your reference.

This is not the first time our vehicle has been taken to your service centre. We have visited your workshop multiple times for the same issue, but the problem has never been permanently resolved. Every time, different parts have been replaced and we have been charged a significant amount, yet the original fault still exists. It appears that parts are being replaced and bills are being generated without identifying and fixing the actual root cause.

We purchased this car to drive it, not to keep it parked at your service centre. Unfortunately, our vehicle has spent more time in your workshop than on the road due to repeated unresolved issues. This has caused us financial loss, inconvenience, and mental stress.

What has disappointed us even more is the behaviour of your service representative, Mr. Bhawar Lal. When my mother contacted him to inform him that the same issue had reappeared after the repair, instead of providing support, he behaved rudely and spoke disrespectfully with her. Such behaviour towards a customer is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the values expected from Tata Motors.

I am an HDFC Bank employee, and I understand the importance of customer satisfaction and professional service. It is therefore extremely disappointing to receive such poor service from a reputed brand like Tata Motors.

I would like Tata Motors to answer the following:

Why was the issue not permanently resolved despite charging approximately ₹75, 000?
Why is the same warning indicator still appearing after the repair?
Why was my mother treated in such an unprofessional and disrespectful manner?
Is this the level of after-sales service Tata Motors provides to its customers?
I request Tata Motors to immediately:

Arrange a thorough inspection of the vehicle by a Senior Technical Expert.
Identify the root cause instead of replacing random parts.
Permanently resolve the issue without any additional charges.
Investigate the behaviour of Mr. Bhawar Lal and take appropriate action.
Provide a written explanation regarding the repeated failure of repairs and poor customer service.
If Tata Motors fails to provide a satisfactory and permanent resolution, I will have no option but to approach the Consumer Commission and seek compensation for the financial loss, repeated repair expenses, mental harassment, inconvenience, and deficiency in service. I will submit all invoices, job cards, photographs, and communication records as evidence.

I expect an immediate response and a fair resolution from Tata Motors.
