Tata Salt — Tata salt lite having strange smell

I have been buying tata salt for years without complaints. About six months back i shifted to using tata salt lite. But this month i got a packet which had a strange smell and when used in food, had a chemically taste (A taste which i have come across in vegetables with excessive pesticide usage). Unfortunately i did not realise the smell and taste was from salt for some time and hence i did not save the packet. But i still have the salt. Please advise on how i can proceed with the complaint.
