[Resolved] Tata Sky — asking to pay rs 2000 every 6 months to change the cable. | |||
Dear sir, I am himanshu g. Mehta having a tata sky connection at my residence. I have made a complaint regarding the set top box approximately 6 weeks ago and the response from your side came after 5 weeks of regular follow up by me. Your technician said that the cable from the dish to the set top box has been damaged and the charges for replacement of the same would be rs. 2000.00 and above and he also said that it will have to be replaced every 6 months whereas when i had installed the set up box the technician had said there would no problems and now they are asking me to pay rs2000 to change the cable every six months. We have got the same cable replaced a few months ago and if it needs to be replaced every 6 months then it is going to be an expensive affair which we do not want to bear. The late response from your technical and back end departments and the likely recurrence of cable damage every 6 months, has actually prompted me to take a decision to get your services discontinued with immediate effect. Have also made a request for refund of proportionate amount towards the annual recharge paid in advance. However, in spite of repeated reminders i am yet to receive your confirmation on the disconnection. Was this information helpful? | |||
