* my brother aalok has purchased a tata sky hd set on 5th july, 2017 by paying 2600/ hundred amount from domria ganj u. P.
* and said it has offer for 3 months of hd channels. Now all the hd channels got closed.
* please instruct to the dealer to provide benefit worth of amount.
* otherwise i would be bound to take leagl action against the company.
* when i tried to talk to the distributer he used inappropriate languages and said you can go any where even suprim court he doesn't care.

    Package price hike by tatasky.
    They have been doing so every 5 – 6 months since last years.
    Its time to get our voice heard. So request you dimers to spread the voice against this frequent hike by tatasky i complain again and again but its like every effort goes in vain
    I am seriously disappoint with tata sky

    When i took the connection the package is 240 (6/8/2015)
    After 3 month it increase 250 (27/11/2015)
    After 6 month again it increase to 270 (19/5/2016)
    After 6 month again it increase to 285 (14/11/2016)
    And now after 9 month it increase to 299 (08/08/2017)

    What a service and every time it happens without my prior permission may i know why???
    Why the hell is happening with tata sky

    I want my clarification without any nonsence...

      Hi,

      I have raised a service request (Wo# z0lja0q dated 04/08/2017) as tata sky service is interrupted many times in recent past but the wo is currently on hold with a weird reason!!

      The "senior technician" who have visited our home on 03/08/2017 asked us to change the whole dish with 675 rs though there was only a small portion of the "l" which is damaged and that can be prepared by welding.

      Your "senior technician" was not bothered to resolve the issue and insisted us only on the matter "why the whole dish should be replaced" which is not professional and ethical at all.

      I request you to look into the matter asap and resolve it at the earliest.

      On top of that, there was a continuous problem of discontinued service of the second set top box which is yet to be resolved by you.

      Please pay attention to these two issues soon!!

        Hello,
        I have tried a lot to activate my live tv, but i am not able to.
        I have called customer care for the same, and they said, i am also not able to do it... And then they said, it should have been activated now, and asked me to uninstall and install the app again. So i did so.

        But it's showing one message, while i click on live tv in app :-
        "an earlier order is open; hence, we can not add the pack now. Kindly try again later."

        I don't understand, even i was having one more connection and i havn't ever tried to connect to live tv, but now when i am trying i am not able to.

        Please help.

          some channels not working.. 0 signal strength

          We are having problems with some of the channels not displaying. All others including hd channels were fine. The call center guy asked us to do a master reset and it didn't work. He sent a service person, he demanded a service charge as well as amount for replacing set top box. If you are supplying inferior equipment, unable to do upgrades automatically, if you move your channels to another satellite, it is all your problem. Why are you looting...

          I have called them meany times but they are not responding. Have paid rs 2000

I have activated a special pack for 1400 for an year for bumper pack... As i was not getting lot of channels as the signal was locked by tata sky.. The took my all money and also canceld my services just in 3 month as i activated the services on 26/05/2017 and on 08/06/2017 all my services was barred i called customer services my call was dropped by the agent supvervisor and by the team leader aswell i called customer service 20 times any how i am really pissed out the kind of services provided by them its a fraud and my going to court for this because i have recorded all there calls

Now i have changed new mobile no.[protected]. So my password is also reset and i cannot receive any information and i did not submit email also. What shall i do?

              And my pack is dhamaal mix but no channel is not coming except channel 100. Last recharge is rs.400, 6 aug, 2017.

              Is there a site which can give detailed info about the all the packages.So that we can choose the right package as per our requirement.
              My services of Tata sky Javed Akhtar of Rs59/- as well as of Taata sky bollywood monthly pack of rs60/-and tata sky music of Rs61/- being again & again actived without my permission misusing amouny lying in my account.

              STOP ALL THE 3-SERVICES IMMEDIATELY AND REFUND THE AMOUNT DEDUCTED

                Tata sky call centre employees are bungling up every communication, ignoring and adding to complaints. They do not seem to understand written and verbal english. They remove channels that you have asked them to retain, they add channels you have not asked for, quote exaggerated tariffs against channels you have asked for, and finally de-activate your connection without any warning, even even though there is sufficient balance left in your account. Then tata sky coolly stops responding to your emails and online complaints. This has been happening to us over the past 10 days. It has happened before.

                Very harassing and frustrating.

                Some of tata group companies like tata sky clearly do not practise what tata’s founder preached (Ref. A tata ad published in toi on 29 july 2017, its founder’s 113rd birth anniversary): ‘…one must forever strive for excellence or even perfection, in any task however small and never be satisfied with second best…’

                Tata group of companies should stop lying to the indian public about their ‘pledge to continue (Their) journey as a... Successful global organization, with the community at its heart.’

                A recent article in Times of India article informs us that Tata Sons holds 60% stake in Tata Sky with Temasek and Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox holding the balance.

                Interesting, because Tata Group's politically-active partner, Rupert Murdoch, has been a close friend of British financier Lord Jacob Rothschild. In 2011 Murdoch faced allegations that his companies had been hacking phones of VIPs and public citizens. Murdoch also faces police and government investigations into bribery and corruption in Great Britain and the United States. As for Tata’s second partner in Tata Sky i.e. Temasek Holdings, it is wholly owned by Singapore’s Ministry of Finance; its CEO is Singapore Prime Minister’s wife.

                Very controversial partnerships indeed. No wonder Tata Sky is so hopeless.

                My last recharge is on 19th July 2017 of 300 rupees monthly package. But today is 2 August. And tata sky payment reminder start to notify for payment only after 13 days. I give mony for one month they give only 13 days. Please solve this issue

                  Our tata sky experience has been terrible ever since we got the installation. Our set top box has been replaced over 3 times and we always receive a faulty piece. Our product is covered under warranty but the customer care representative clearly dictates that we have to pay upto rs. 4000 to improve our connection, not even fix it. They disconnect our calls and do not cooperate. We have to go several days without a working connection yet we are charged for the service.

                    I have got a tata sky connection with customer id [protected]. I am located at pithoragarh o[censored]ttar khand. I was using south special pack for last two years. I have done a recharge of rs 300/- on 28 jul 2017. I got a call from tata sky customer care with an offer saying that if i pay rs 965/- then i will have to recharge only in next year. Accordingly i recharged my pack with rs 965/- on 01 aug 2017. On 02 aug i got a call from mr amit from customer care and asked if i want to change my pack. I told him that i am already getting english news channel and hence no requirement of change of channel. Sincei was in office i told him to give a call in the evening. I got an sms in my mobile saying that my mob pack changed to dhamal mix. I had given a call to customer care and attended by mr himanchu. I spoke to superviser raj singh also about the problem. Mr amit had given a call in the evening and told that there was a problem in server and hence the change had happened. The old pack will be reinstated with in 24 hrs. Again miss shirisha, tazeen and bhagavi called up and told that now u can not go back to old pack since south pack is applicable only for south indians. I told that i am a south indian and for last many years i am subscribing to the same package. How can it happen that because of the server problem my pack has been changed and they admitted it. When i asked for my old pack they said that it cannot be done and i have to pay more money for dhamal mix. It is like asking ransom. For last seven years i was using the tata sky, and this is the first time i got such a behaviour and it is rude and pathetic. It is surprising.

                      I am a consumer of tata sky since 2009.in june 2015 after a lot of complaints and email to this cheater people they replace me the set top box with current mpeg4 enabled. I have no any trouble with the original (Earlier) set top box. But the new so called set top box they provided was started technical trouble after few months as it works for 15-20 minutes and then stop working and keeps on stand and alert mode. We checked with their people and find that this problem is not because o[censored]s, but because of the set top box hundreds of time i called their customer desk to replace it but they are charging unnecessary money and talk with me in bad language and telling you don't have any option since you have paid us in advance. They are only interested with the new subscriber since the old subscribers are having high dissatisfaction. My request to please convey this problem to higher authority since they are not providing their contact details.
                      Don't take this dth's connection because one they new consumer will also become old and they will behave with you rudely.

                        Deactivation captions coming frequently on the screen Inspite of recharge made in due time. The next recharge due date is 4th August 2017. A deactivation captions coming on the TV screen very frequently which creates problem in viewing TV programs. I therefore request your favour to do the needful to resolve the problem at the earliest, please.

                            Had purchased tata sky on june 30th. After the first month free subscription, i did a recharge for rupees 175/- on 2nd of august.
                            But the account was on de-activate status. Called up customer care, they said due to technical reasons it will take 24hrs to active.
                            Today (3rd august) called up again, they say check with bank, we have not received any amount.

                              I have being following from 31st aug 2017 to tata sky people to re install tata sky at my place, every day new executive from tata sky saying me from last 3 days that the engineer will visit to your place today, tomm., giving me time also
                              But still its 3rd july no one has visited yet.
                              Every day they are taking my request and saying next day your request is cancel. Why you tata sky people making fool to people. And troubling people like this.
                              If you people cant take proper service then please dont commet to people all this.
                              Third class service, i will suggest to all user of tata sky, dont use this people service. A very bad service they provide.

                                I am a premium customer of yours from almost a decade. My subscriber id is [protected]. I have been enjoying your services for long and didn't have any complaints till now. But recently i am not happy with your services and the hardware you are providing along with the strict policies which are damaging to old relations.

                                I have been experiencing problem with my set top box which is tata sky plus. Incidentally it was changed last year also because of no fault of ours and we paid for it. And now again technician said it needs to be replaced and we need to pay again. I don't understand why we need to keep paying again and again for the same issue without any of our fault.

                                And my precious recordings also get wiped off. Now i asked them to take out the old hard disk and put in the new replaced box so this way my recordings can be saved but i was told that although technically it can be done but it's not your policy. Once again it is selfish policy where customer comes last.

                                Kindly look into the problem and give a solution where i am not charged unjustifiably or lose my recordings.

                                I await your reply so that even i can take a decision based on your solution regarding the future patronage.

                                Got to be a joke. Now that set top box has been replaced, I can't view lot of Channels which I could view earlier. Now another demand has been made to give 1000 odd Rupees to put additional wires. Just ridiculous that I paid for the full package for a year and I could view all channels for 10 months and then suddenly I need to pay extra money to view the same channels for the technical problem of the Tata company. By end of the day, they just want extra money this way or that way. Never expected something like this from a company like Tata... Just too disappointed with the whole experience.

                                  Dear sir, i talked to your executive, mr. Yogesh regarding 199 dhamaka package, he told me that he was updating the package from previous to 199. But when i was recharge it shows,
                                  Monthly recharge :405
                                  Last recharge: 199
                                  And now i talked to your executive mr. Rohan to explain it, your answer is 'pls call us after 6 am.'
                                  So it shame to you and me too that there have fake network which i am using.
                                  Kindly take an immediate action or i will take the legal step against your organisation.

                                    I wanted to have a new connection of tata sky and i tried several times through online portal. They used to call us and say that our main engineer will call you within 2 hrs but no call arrived, instead we have been provided with the message that your subscription has been canceled for no possible reason i can fathom.
                                    Then later we tried several to buy new connection and now it's been 4 days with the same response.
                                    After 4 days when some engineer did call us, he promised to set up the connection at 6 in the evening. Later at 6.30 his call arrived saying that he won't be able to come to our house today. He'll come tomorrow morning. When we asked him to come as early as possible as we have been struggling for days after the connection his reply was..in his exact wordings "nhi aa rha main aaj. Apne hisaab se aaunga main. Krle kya kar lega."
                                    We are not here to listen to such words from some of your engineers. We'll definitely not have the connection neither we'll recommend tata sky to anyone.
                                    Concerned authorities may note. We had a talk to one of your call center girl named monica and one engineer named sagar. Thank you.

                                    They even gave me [protected] as consumer id. But due to such delays and too much nonsense what I heard from ur engineer. I am not going to buy any connection of yours. And I'll prefer Airtel Digital TV or Videocon D2H etc etc. But definitely not Tata Sky at all.

                                      I had been a tata sky customer for 13+ years now. I had been staying in my previous house for around 9 years and after long stay raised a relocation request to a new place. I had been a tata sky+ hdpvr subscriber and hence a premium customer with no relocation charges. The story begins here...

                                      As per the relocation request, i was asked to remove the dish and wiring from the previous location and request reinstallation at the new place. But as the dish was very old, the technician said the dish is worn out and it would be better to request a new dish as relocating the old dish is of no use.

                                      So i requested for new kit. As part of the new kit, i called up customer care and confirmed that super lnb which would be free for me.

                                      So when i finally ended up seeing new kit charges of rs 500, wiring of rs 420 and super lnb of rs 800. Also deactivated my connecting demanding to pay all the above charges and only after that the connection can be reactivated.

                                      Couple of things here:
                                      1) for a customer who had been loyal for 12+ years can't you provide a new kit free of cost as the old one is worn out?
                                      2) when the customer care executive confirmed that super lnb would be free, why have you charged and demanding me to pay and only than the connection will be reactivated? You have all the call recordings to validate the confirmation provided that it would be free
                                      3) i had to spend a valuable 1hr on my sunday afternoon to get this sorted out, the customer support manager mr. Guruvinder singh promised to comeback to me with a resolution in 15 minutes to ensure that i can enjoy viewing my tv on the sunday evening, been 2 days now but still no response
                                      4) when the executive was adamant the they will only reactivate my connection only if all charges are paid. I said i am not ready and requested deactivation of my account. He was ready for that and raised a request for deactivation of my account immediately. No respect and/or effort to retain a customer who has been loyal with tata sky for 12+ years

                                      Overall it is easy to move to different service provider and get a new connection for much lesser price and pain than get your issues resolved with tata sky. No respect for loyality. They just need money, money and money... Loot the customer
