[Resolved]  Tata Sky — set top box hangs n replacing a new box with old used n repaired box

I got new tata sky hd connection on 17 june 2014 with lots of promises on quality n good services. Firstly I wanted to buy standard box but the call center person persuaded me that for some more I should buy hd . From sep the set box started hanging, then I called the person who came for installing, he gave instructions on phone to do some software upgrade but of no use. Then called the worst customer care center they sent a guy next day, he did some software upgrade n said if the problem persists then box will be replaced . next day the problem was still there, again called customer care, they again scheduled a visit to replace new set top box with the old used repaired box. I paid more than two thousand rupee to get an old used repaired box after 3 months as per COMPANY’S POLICY ?? I want NEW box to be replaced with NEW box or Disconnect the connection n Refund my money ( installation plus annual subscription). Repeated calls to rude n worst customer care n service guys were all useless. subscriberId [protected] Kindly do the needful…….

after a month long struggle with tata sky, they agreed to replace the new box

with another new box.On 31 oct 2014 the job was done but the problem is still

there .it hangs again quite a few times today...is there nobody who knows what

the problem is ? is it with the box or something else ? kindly help ...

same here [protected] they replacebox but with repaired one ... it still hangs ... it is worst experience.
