[Resolved]  Tata Sky — unethical and irresponsible behavior of tata sky

I, aparup chakraborty, son of late amulya bushan chakraborty, presently residing at bl-192, salt lake city, kolkata - 700091; by profession, i am a sportsman; is facing an obnoxious problem since 2016 october. I am a customer of the direct broadcast satellite television provider "tata sky" since the year 2011. Being a sports person, my subscription menu consisted of only sports and news related channels. Hence only during good matches, we switch on our television set otherwise it sits idle.
These are the list of problems we faced since the last one year:-
*whenever we switch on it states that the "dish is not getting the signal".
* or it states that "payment is not made" even if we have cleared our dues in time.
*every time we get these we call the customer care where we have to wait for the operator to take our call which normally takes 20mins minimum to get onto the call and the hear our problems and then sometimes they are able to solve or sometimes they send people to check the dish; on that process we miss our show.
These were happening since last one year but on 6th of october 2017 that is yesterday the situation went beyond human tolerance.
# in my subscription we didn't have the channel 'sony ten 2 hd' hence we called the customer care and added the same.
# they stated that they will charge 62 inr per month. We accepted the fact and asked for the activation asap.
# the channel got activated within 2mins and we started enjoying the game.
# during halftime at 9 pm we started surfing other channels; after halftime when we switched back to that channel it was unavailable.
#we again called the customer care where the operator named "souvik das" picked up.
#he asked us to do a list of things like going to settings and etc. After doing everything as said the operator stated that all our saved memories of our television will get formatted. That infuriated me as our memory consisted of my tv interviews and my important news bytes which were very important to my profession. (Every call was duely recorded by the tata sky company you can even ask for the audio records as proof)
#when we stated that these process has harmed me he should have informed us before taking such drastic step, the operator reacted reluctantly and said that we can place a complaint against him if we please.
Hence we are placing this complaint about being such unprofessional and reluctant behavior and yet we still didn't get that channel on our tv yet paying for the same.
My prayers:
# i want my stated channel available if i am being charged for it.
# i want all my saved videos back or i want monetary compensation.
# i request the tata sky company to take due steps against the operator souvik das.
# i shouldn't get charged for the channels i don't watch.
# if i have paid my dues then i should get to watch my channels without any hindrance.
# the operator should act more professionally and responsibly in future.
