My wife had transferred rs.7500/- on 5th february 2020 to tata sky account instead of transferring it to somebody else by mistake in google pay app.
I called up its call center and informed the same and i received call back from them stating that the amount is not credited to my account and assured they will look into it. Later again i got the call from them stating the amount is traced and assured i'll be getting the refund in 21 days. Its been 60 days since the issue is happened and i didn't received the refund yet.
Hence i called the call center again on 5the april 2020 to check the status and there is no clue about the issue with them. Hence raised the issue again and sent the written complaint to [protected]@tatasky.com on 6th april 2020 with required screenshots.
I got a call back today from tatasky stating that amount will credited back automatically with 10 to 15 days working days. If not i have to contact google pay customer support for payment.
The issue is amount is credited to tata sky billdesk id billdeskbqr. [protected]@hdfc on 5th feb 2020 with upi transaction id[protected] and it is clearly visible in google pay app.
When the amount is credited to concern upi id, how google will refund my amount? In such scenarios, the amounts will be there in suspense account of the service provider since i've not mentioned any subscriber id / mobile no while transferring the amount.
Call center team is not able to understand this simple logic and continuously giving the standard answer that i'll be getting the refund if not i've to contact google pay for refund.
The executive with whom i spoke half an hour ago, is not all interested to understand the problem nor interested to check my complaint mail for better understanding. Instead he repeatedly says, he is helpless and he can't do anything and he didn't received the mail even after re forwarding the mail again during the conversation. You can check the call recording of our conversation half an hour ago.
Following are the mistakes from my end, which led to this issue.
This transaction is not meant to recharge tatasky, transaction is initiated to pay part of shop rent. However, she selected tatasky instead of shop owner contact by mistake.
Subscriber id not mentioned in the google pay contact. Only bill desk id is there. (Screenshot attached for your reference).
The payment is transferred without subscriber id to your bill desk id billdeskbqr. [protected]@hdfc (Screen shot attached). Hence i believe the said the amount may be lying in the suspense account.
Therefore i request you to kindly check the same resolved the issue asap.
