tataaig — Health Insurance policy

Tata AIG health insurance policy: I took health insurance policy of tata aig, distrubuted by Axis Back to its priority customers only. After making the payment when I received the policy document I noted that several major offerings/coverage has been marked as deleted in the policy document.

Once example is - policy brochure says that pre and post medical expenses is covered but the final policy document I received is saying that this coverage stands deleted. Same case is for maternity coverage... there are more which stands deleted silently in policy document.

I have raised this concerns with Axis bank and TataAig. Waiting for resolution otherwise I will have to cancel this policy and take new from some other provider.

At first glance it is very surprising... seems like a fraud...

Note: TataAig representative says that this clause saying that cerverage stands deleted are not valid but it is still there in the policy document.. amazing...
