We have purchased a brand new tata regd no up 16dt 0423 from sjs motors hapur on 31/7/15. (Chassis no mat 448022f5f07815 engine no 51e[protected] this vehicle has been maintained by pls motors greater noida. The vehicle was actually put on road as a tanker in sep 15. The driver complained about the vehicle not picking up adequately. The vehicle was taken immediately to pls motors where they advised us to keep running the vehicle till it starts moving normally. The vehicle was taken for a check up on 19/10/15 and the vehicle was checked up only some wheel problem was detected. Later we went for the first service at 19000 km 31/01/16. The vehicle was checked and declared fit the air and oil filters were changed and t q oil was changed. Later the driver complained that the engine oil was becoming less. So the vehicle was sent to pls motors for check-up. Engine oil was short and topped up on 28 feb. We were told to drive and see if the oil again becomes short then bring the vehicle back. Again the oil was becoming less and was topped up on 22.5.16. The vehicle was taken again for a check-up. We were informed that this engine is defective. Now the engine is dismounted and they are awaiting instructions.
It is shocking that even before the first service the vehicles engine has been opened. The vehicle has been fully handled by an authorised dealer.
The dealer did not give any satisfactory reply though the vehicle is in warranty period. Was this information helpful? |
