The Hindu — non-receipt of promised gift for hindu newspaper - not resolved

Complaint raised on july 2018 (Id: 2023638]) in this consumer complaints and the details are in below.
Till date it is not resolved.

Sir,

I have paid on 23rd july 2017 rs.999 (Cheque) for annual subscription and promised to get the back pack bag with in 15 days while collecting cheque.

Till date (Almost after a year) i did not received the bag.

So many times contacted the customer care, they lodged the complaint but it is for name sake.

I called the agent, not answered properly and did not pick my call afterwards.

Being one of the most popular newspaper, i did not expect the service from the your agent and your customer care department.

After one your, my subscription going to end by this month (Sep 2018), customer care people and agent regularly calling and asking for renewal.

They did not bother for last one year for my call and complaint.
