[Resolved]  The Public Grievances Cell, State Bank Of India, Parliament Street New Delhi — regarding education loan of A/C no.[protected]

Dear sir I was granted an education loan of Rs 358000 [ Three lakh fifty eight thousand] on 14 aug 2009. with an in terest of 11.25%. I have to pay interest as per loan schedule. Repayment moratorium is course period + 1 year or 6 months after getting job [60 EMI of 7918] sir, as per bank schedule my repayment moratorium start from november 2013 My father wants to deposite the interest portion, but bank staff told him that i shall get full interest subsidy launched in 2009 from mhrd.I have also got the same reply from bank staff time of getting instalments. For getting full interest subsidy bank has sent me a format for income proof ; the duly signed and filled income certificate from office of tahsildar for the year[protected], 2010-11 is deposited by me. My father income for the year 2009-10 was Rs 338246 and for 2010-11 Rs 429819. I have got an accident in oct with serious injuries to limb and heart and also unemployed, .my father went four times to bank for instalment payment finally he was able to deposit RS 18500 on 30.11.2013 and the concerned loan manager told him the instalment is fixed Rs 14000. With deep regret it is a misrepresentation of fact by bank regarding interest subsiby and misrepresent the fact to earn interest for course period which my father was ready to pay. When i am qualified for full interest subsidy then why should i pay more than 60 EMI of. Rs 7918 . My father is retiring on 31st january and i am currently physically not able to get well soon.
