Dear Manager

This is Vinoth. I had booked a ticket on the 1st of December to Theni through Redbus in TAT. The ticket details are as below:

Ticket number: TKCU30129035
Pnr number : TATHC1HRT44

Further ticket details are attached below. Please find the attachment.

My issue is that, I haven't been given a refund of the above, since I couldn't board the bus on time in Porur, Chennai.

The bus driver/conductor asked us to come from Porur to Perungalathur.
So we went there and called the driver when the driver asked to come to Vandalur.
I again had to rush to Vandalur admist the heavy traffic. We were waiting there for an hour. So after reaching Vandalur when i called the driver he said that there has been a different arrangement made with a bus coming from Adayar.

He said me to contact Vandalur office.

At both the destination the driver left without waiting for us inspite of asking us to come.

Meanwhile I had reached 10.30pm to the TAT office in Vandalur and an official there informed that I had been informed incorrectly by the driver regarding a different arrangement. He also asked the driver and he did not pick the call. He asked us to leave saying our ticket money will be refunded. He also said to send a mail to redbus.

It has been 19 days and there is no sign of refund. I have all the phone recordings to give as proof against the TAT driver, who promised me there will be a different arrangement.
We had to drive at drangerous speeds to get to two different locations. We were waiting at midnight on the roads along with a women.

Due to the confusion, I had to take the concerned people to koyembedu at midnight and help them board a government bus. It was too risky at that time of the hour, as there were women present.

TAT had given us immense problem in one night. I wouldn't shy from approaching the COMMISIONER OF POLICE and go to the CONSUMER COURT to raise a complaint regarding the same as I have enough proof.

I would also tag along Redbus as it was the only medium through which I booked a ticket in TAT. The CUSTOMER CARE executives were quick enough to dismiss the query and closed it as the fault was on our side.

Yes, we were 5 minutes late. It was due to heavy traffic that I was 5 minutes late. I had already called the bus driver/ conductor regarding the delay and requested him to wait for 5 more minutes. But he left.
There had been mANY TIMEs when I had to wait for hours since the bus was delayed and they would cook up some reasons, which we would blindly accept.

My question is why did the driver ask me to come to two various location and asked me to wait. If they can provide a solution they could have simply stated that. I would have seen a different option.

I had been following TAT regarding the issue since the 4th of December. They are have been lying it will be refunded in two days since then. Now after 20 days, today they asked me to raise a complaint witj redbus which is of no use as redbus doesnt respond. TAT has so much complaints online, then why has redbus collaborater with it?

My time was wasted. My money was wasted. My diesel got wasted. And all the more we lost our peace of mind.

So I want to excalate the issue until my refund is done!

I am not bothered about the Rs. 1300. If a common man has to go through ### by such people, I do not mind taking it forward and raising a complaint with the consumer FORUM.
