I booked a customized trip to london through thomas cook, mumbai on december 2019. Due to family emergency i had to cancel the trip. I wrote a mail to the same agent of thomas cook on 8th feb 2019 requesting to cancel my trip.
He asked me for the proofs of my family emergency and said if i don't show the proofs i will not get my money refunded.
I shared him the proofs as the soft copy on 17th feb 2019.
After that i have got no response from the agent regarding my cancellation process. I have been emailing him, calling him couple of times, somebody else has been receiving my call saying the agent is either not available or is on leave or any other reasons.
I strongly feel i am being ignored as i cancelled my bookings from thomas cook and that the company doesn't want to refund back money.
When i pay money on time while booking the package through thomas cook then why cannot i get the same response from the team while cancelling a trip? When it comes to refunding money back, why the team has to ignore the customers.
My experience with thomas cook for my first trip to europe was extremely good and hence i thought to go ahead with thomas cook again for my second trip planning. Due to family reasons i had to cancel it. But now it seems i have to struggle so much to get the refund and talk to the concerned agent.
I am filing a complaint against the agent and the team who have been ignoring my cancellation request. And i am no more making any bookings from thomas cook, mumbai.
