This is Ramesh working in State Government. I have subscribed for Times of India for one year. But, I was told by your agent who visited on 17.6.2010 that the papers will be supplied through the existing agency from whom I am getting The Hindu daily. But, to my surprise another agent appeared today and collected all my documents including the coupons leaving a contact number of one Thiru Bala saravanan who was stated to be the agent for Times of India. But even the said number left me with puzzle since it contains only nine digits. I do not know, whether I am going to get paper regularly. This kind of attitude will reflect on your reputation. I would like to bring to your kind notice that it seems Times of India employee and writer of the article in question, Deeksha Chopra has misinterpreted the details of the e-mail written by Arushi to her parents, that the NOIDA police had revealed earlier.

In line 4 of the e-mail, Arushi wrote, ..." I wnt do it agn..." and that, in case none of the company's employees understand the chatting language, means " I wont do it again" i.e. I WILL NOT do it again rather than "I want to do it again".

I hope TOI will rectify this gross error and issue an apology in memory of the girl.

i sent a mail to CRM for address change nearly one and hlf months ago. everytime they were telling, in 48hrs the issue will be resolved. like that they replying to my mails.
Its a very bad customer service support.

we have subscribed your news paper for a year .we are not getting the issues for a week or so.we have already lodged a complain against the agency via telephone but no action is taken against it.
if you can't issue the papers please don't collect the money for prepaid subscriptions. take stern action against agency

Earlier I was a subscriber to THE HINDU.

Your Offer in early 2008 was very attractive and I had since opted to subscribe to TOI annually (Old Order No.2048440).

The paper is good. News coverage is good. The pictures are good. The Presentation is good. There are so many good……s, but one point is bad. I’m coming to it.

For quite some time, I found that the News Paper Shop Owner (Vendor) was delivering Deccan Chronicle instead of TOI, particularly on Fridays. Initially I thought it was a mistake. But this became repetitive. I realized that your Friday issue had more takers and hence the Vendor has unilaterally decided that the Friday issue is not for me. I did take up the matter first with the Delivery boy who pleaded helplessness and then with the Vendor. I was shocked at the attitude of the Vendor and the use o[censored]nparliamentary language. I left it at that as I did not have the time and inclination to escalate the matter with him, because of his rude stance.

He has even challenged that I can report this to anyone, “Evankitta Vena Phoi Sollu”.

It’s over a month since I have received a copy of your Newspaper.

I also know for a fact that the Friday issues are being sold by him against Cash while subscribers like me are denied.

I have once again opted for the annual subscription through your RRE. I had informed him about my above problems and refused to renew the subscription. However, he advised me to take up the matter with you and assured that you would respond positively. Only on this assurance did I renew the subscription.

I do hope that you will look in to this and ensure that normalcy is restored and also send me a reply. As I have already given the Annual Subscription, I want an uninterrupted supply of the paper in time and I am also in no mode whatsoever to take up the matter with the Vendor on a personal level.

i was a founder member of chennai edition and renewed the same.inspite of reminders and the assurances of the customer centre it is yet to be delivered though more than two months had elapsed.ramakrishnan[protected]

I'm an ardent reader of TOI. I have been TOI customer since it's initial launch an year ago. I live in Nanganallur/Ullagaram area. My order details etc are

From the first day of my subscription this year, I get my paper only round 8 AM. It is hardly of any use to me as I need to leave home to my office around 8 AM. Well, it is was good last time that atleast i was given 12 coupons and had a choice to move to a different dealer in between. This year, my dealer has not even shown my subscription form and all I have is the order form and I have been fighting with him over past few months to return my form so that I can move to a different dealer. Atleast, once in a month I don't get TOI at all. When I call my dealer, he gives some lame excuse. His RRE code is CR0130.

I also buy The Hindu paper and there is a another dealer incharge of it. I usually get the Hindu paper within 6.30 AM. He also supplies TOI. I wish to switch over my dealer.

Regarding this I have complained thrice to TOI call centre and of no use. My latest complaint reference is 185254. I was promissed that the problem would be sorted out by Monday (25th May) but still the complaint is in pending status. Even today morning I called up the call centre for checking the status.

Well, as far as TOI is concerned I have paid my cheque to Benett and Coleman and think TOI is responsible for this poor service.


Could anybody from TOI call up and solve my problem. Else, I might need to take this issue to Consumer court for poor service ( whether you care or not.)

I was assured that I will start receiving paper FROM April 14th 2009, but I have not received a single issue so far. I spoke over phone to your chennai office 10 times and emailed twice but all to hell. NO RESPONSE. Here are my details –

Times Of India — phone not working

my telephone[protected] is not working since AUgust 17. False ring is heard. ALso, whenever, we switch on the computer, I am not able to use the landline telephone.

i, m also a founder member. they never delivered the gift bag and the vendor would take two coupons for one month and delivered for four months and stopped. if v all unite v can initiate action in consumer court. i know the procedure.pl contact me on [protected].

EVEN I HAVENT RECEIVED THE PAPER YET. I HAVE PAID FOR 1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION.

I also subscribed for Rs.299 offer of Times of India for 1 year. The service has been very choppy - I received newsapers for about 3 months in a rather irregular manner( not daily).

But since last 2 months, I have not received a single copy. Repeated phone calls and e-mails have been a complete waste of time.

No doubt TOI is not losing any money even though it promises to offer newspapers for 1 full year for only Rs.299. If newspaper is not delivered everyday, there will not be any loss afterall.

I also paid rs299/= as a cheque to Mohamed Azarudeen([protected])santhome 2 months before.he promised it will be delivered with in 10days.Amount has beed debited from my account immedietly.But till today no paper.If i call that person no response from him...frauds..

I have been suffering at the hands of pathetic and unprofessional CRM of TOI. Despite repeted mails and reolephone callas I am still to get my first copy of daily edition of TOI for over a month now after changing my accomodation 1 month agao. heres th edetailed e mail conversation :

Thanksa lot for your efforts, one person had come to deliver the newspaper on 6-11-09 but he asked for the recept slip which i had already given to the newspaper dealer in velachery. The same was intimated to the delivery boy on 6-11-09 when he asked for it. However for some strange reason hos not showed up since then and there has been no newspaper delivery since then. Pse resolve th ematter ASAP as it is nearing almost a month since no delivery of newspaper at my new address.

I am a subscriber of the Times Of India with more or less same experience.Inspite of many telephonic complaints to the helpline as well as to the representative no corrective actions to resume the delivery of the daily is taken from the officials concerned.When I contacted the delivery boy he told me that it was stopped on the instruction from the vendor.I am shocked to come across such an irresponsible attitude of marketing team.It is well known that people have chosen annual subscription to get the daily uninterrupted. But the very purpose of the efort is getting lost as many a times the delivery of the paper fails due to the negligence on the part of the marketing team and vendor.I am surprised to note that the office of the daily is not inclined to compensate the affected customers suitably for their losses and mental agony due to the lapse in the service of the company.You may appreciate that every consumer is has the right to ask for the service for which the consumer have paid the subscription inadvance.When there is some lapses on the part of the service provider he is liable to compensate suitably for the loss and expenditure incurred by the customer without any hesitation.Hence I request the service provider ( Times Of India group) to pay the compensation without further delay apart from ensuring regularity in the delivery of the daily,

I am a suscriber of “Times of Indi’ from 2008 when it was launched in Chennai.

I stay in thiruvamiyur ( Chennai-41). the supply is highly irregular throughout the year. Sometime the paper will be delivered at 10.00am + when all o[censored]s goes for work, and nmany times the papers ware not supplied at all.I contacted the so called “customer help line “(ofcourse with great difficulty, as usually they will never respond) and lodged my complaints, with out any results.

I requested to change my Vandor on several occassions as all my neighbouring flats are getting their supply through another vandor. but so fa that never happened .

from 16th of Jan 2010 onwards I am not getting any news paper till date (23rd Jan). I have contacted the customer support line

on 16th Jan and the complaint no is 259522
on 18th Jan and the complaint no is 259858
on 22nd Jan and the complaint no is 261484
on 23rd Jan and the complaint no is 261830

I requested the help line to put me to some responsible officer, they refused. Please advise me what I am supposed to do with the complaint nos.

Since the money is already collected for the full year, I do not have any hold except to beg them to supply the paper.

I too have the same problem. I am surprised to find that TOI is also providing only lip service to its many customers having problem.

II have read that companies set target for customer satisfaction level as it is difficult to satisfy all 100% at all levels. Unfortunately TOI has classified me into the non-satisfaction level customer. That is why TOI is not bothered.

I would like to bring to your kind attention of the irregular delivery of the Times of India newspaper for the past year[protected], while your sales people come and enthusiastically promote the newspaper; your vendors and the delivery boys are the most irresponsible and discourteous people.

What is even more pathetic is that several compliants over phone has been made and till date we have only received that this would be resolved in 48hours;

For the whole month of Feb 2010 the paper was not delivered; similarly in the past months of[protected], the daily delivery was not there for 5-8 days every month.

Is this the way a leading newspaper and its delivery agents would perform?

Why do you people come and collect the entire year's subscription and then you fail to deliver? are you not ashamed of this cheating?

What kind of vendors and customer care do you have?

As a result of your pathetic and incompetent delivery, we have to pay you the annual subscription to your company and still buy the daily issues.

What you are doing is absolute disservice and cheating of your customers and that is very evident with your customer care which has not resolved this issue despite repeated complaints.

We demand that you resolve the issue forthwith by changing the vendor and have the newspaper delivered to us and then refund the amount for the whole month of Feb 2010 and for 6months x 5 days (average) amount of delivery issues of the TOI

Times of India delivery system is pathetic. I don't receive papers for at least 10 days in a month and now for the last 6 days I haven't received it. Even umpteen phone calls/email reminders haven't elicited any sort of reaction from whosoever is managing the show there. Going forward, I don't think it's worth renewing the subscription if the subscribers are treated like this. I am a regular reader of Times of India from 1973. when I was in Bombay and after wards in Middle east. Now I put an order for subscription of The Times of India and Sunday Times of India, Chennai edition for a period of 12 months at Rs. 299/ through your RRE Name. G. Kuppuswamy, Code CR 3990 on 8th of August 2011. As per him they started to deliver the paper through a local dealer Sriram (West Mambalam Area) and boy named Karthik from 20th August 2011. From the beginning I have noticed that the Supplimentary sheets of about 12 pages were missing on Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays. I brought to the attention of the local distributor and dealer. I checked all the copies of the news papers that the distributor Karthik was giving to this area and found all of them are missing the supplementary copies. When I asked for that Karthick behaved badly and stopped the delivery from 1st of October.

I paid the amount for 12 months and now they are not delivering the paper to me. Please inquire about the misbehavior of the distributor and arrange to deliver the paper to me regularly. ORDER No. NAG 004158

Though amount is not important to me. But if lose your single customer surely you will lose another group along with me.

In the mail they have mentioned that the starting date is 16.09.2012 but not mentioned which agent we have to approach(there are more than 10 agents in West Mambalam Area) and who will supply the paper. Even though I have approached some of the agents and shown the mail coorespondence. I have been told that the TOI will sent you a Fresh Receipt for the Address change by courier only after receipt of the same you have to give the same to us, then only they will be able to supply the News paper.

Again and again I am making calls to[protected]the number is given in the Order Receipt). Most of the time it will be engaged tone . suppose the line is through they will ask my mobile number and inform me they call you later. But after that NO RESPONSE from TOI.

At the last least I have not received the paper till date(i.e.on 05.10.2012) past one month, despite my all efforts from my end.

I do not know why TOI is not responding valued customers even they got the full money of Rs.299/- for the whole year . The amount may not be very high for TOI, but each and every paise is value for me.

Hi. This is Suganya. Due to the wrong information given by your customer service my cheque was bounced.
I called to the customer care of Times of India to confirm whether they have withdrawn the amount from cheque or not. I called to tell cancel my cheque if they have n't taken the amount because there was no amount in my account so i called them on 31st december they told that they taken the amount from the cheque. Account is my company account so after i taken all the amount i called to the customer care to cancel my cheque but they told that they taken the amount. I confirmed that thrice from your customer care. But they have taken only on Jan 4th and my cheque was bounced. I have applied loan for my company so there should not be any cheque bounce and the bank fined me Rs.350. Your newspaper is only Rs.299 only for 12months but loss for me is Rs.350. And one of the customer care staff spoke rudely with me. Irresponsible staffs in Times of India. Due to the wrong information from your side im affected like this. How they will give loan for me? But when Next day onwards whenever I tried to contact so called Kamlesh, he has never picked up my phone and always get message that he is busy and call after some time. I tried several times in a day for several days but in vain.
So finally I sent SMS to Tanvi that I am going to launch complaints for both of you then Tanvi called me and told me that he will take paper today and from tomorrow on wards I will receive paper but I denied. I am really surprised that Times of India is such a big, reputed and renowned company has such bad service at start itself. I denied because after complain only if they respond then what is the use of such big company. For long run and such a heavy competition in todays era this kind of attitude towards consumer will give loss of faith of consumer on Times of India and hence it will impact Business of Times of India as well as reputation.We are royal customer of Times of India and everybody in our relationship uses Times of India but now I lost that faith.
I request you all to kindly look into it as soon as possible and also to avoid such happenings with other Times of India Consumers.Awaiting your prompt response and action.

I am the last 3 years annual subscriber of Times of India News paper but suddenly now a days I am getting very poor service and response from the Times of India Newspaper Team. If I do not collect the copy personally, thecopies are piled and whenever I reach the newspaper agent shop, I collect it. Can something be done? Or should I approach the consumer cell with my complaint? as it is gross violation of the basic purpose of the subscription. Do something at the earlist or all the consumers will be forced to go to the consumers court.

I have been regular member of Goa Tennis Ball Cricket women team for last 7 years wherein Goa state team have won 5 senior women Gold and 8 federation Cup gold for the state of Goa.

As per my information, Tennis ball cricket is a recognized game of Govt. of India and Govt. of Goa and all facilities pertaining to other games are enjoy by Tennis ball cricket in Goa and is ranked 2nd best in the State of Goa after baseball.

But I herewith want to tell you that all the newspapers and electronic media are giving valuable coverage when our team wins at national level or conduct championship in Goa.

But as per my knowledge your paper covers only football and cricket in you newspaper for last one year giving 80 to 90 % of the pages to above games denying other games of Goa such as baseball, tennis ball cricket, taikwando, boxing etc which are performing at the highest level.

I here request you sir to kindly look into the matters and give equal mileage to all the sports and sports personalitities irrespective of games they play.

Please do the needful for the sake of poor man's games of Goa

I'm Debashis Sadhu, is the victim of carelessness and totally unprofessional business approach from a newpaper company like Times Of India !! It's a great shock in my life that the person, who has been represented me behalf of TOI, is not bothered to filled the 'Subscription Form' duly or give me call wheather I've been received the 'Monthly Coupon' which is supposed to courier to me as he described. Subscription Fees has been debited from my Account and till date I did not received any coupon. This kind of business attitude is absolutely undesireable.

Times of India giving worst customer service.

I jhave subscribed for one year on march 2008. Its been 2months i have not yet received newspaper till now. I have called customer 50 times. The services is not at all good im very much disappointed .Please necessary action on this issue. They keep on say will send the newspaper next day but they haven't. I have placed an order of 1 year subscription in March '08. Till date I haven't received any "GIFT" as committed by the company. I have contacted the helpline provided and when speaking to in-charge Mr. Rahul, he said "we can't issue GIFT and scheme is closed". If there is no delivery and allotment to customer as such and not to be taken place at all, why should the scheme be launched??

My order Number is NAA 092377. I subscribed for one year on 25.10.08 (ch.no.047722 for Rs.299/-) I was told that I will be receiving the paper from 01.11.08. But till date I was not delivered with the news paper. Everytime I ask for this to Times of India Office, they ask my address and assures that it will be delivered immediately. But it was not done so.

I am using this consumer complaints site, because today i saw a movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in "Picaddily theater" Matinee Show 3 pm to 6 pm, Our Seat No. was C15 & C16, Upper Stall, Ticket No. was 1658. The movie was too Good But the Condition of Theater was very Bad. The seats were in too Bad condition, Nails were coming out of the seats due to which my Jeans was torn . The foam of the seats was also coming out of the seats. Due to that we were uncomfortable through out the movie. The Picaddily Theater Charged us Rs.50 Per Head. And i am sorry to say it was not at all worth watching movie in Rs100, with complete discomfort.

Times Of India Delhi Festival — terrible organisation of cooking fiesta

The Food fiesta organised by TOI with hospitality partners Radisson hotel as a part of the Delhi Festival was a total disappointment . Despite having confirmed my participation for one of the cooking events -on reaching the venue in the middle of the day I was unceremoniously told that my name did not figure on 'the list' and I cannot be a part of the event. After having confirmed my participation and rushing from work in the middle of the day this was a total reflection of terrible planning.Shame on you Times and shame on Radisson hotel!

I second the above ! I had the same experience. Did not expect times of india and a hotel like radisson to be so unprofessional.It left a bitter taste in the mouth of all present there.

Times of India should give the agency to reputed companies and not to goods and roadside
shop vendors to distribute their newspapers .

I have called upteen number of times and I have not recieved the papers, the telephone
is attended by non proffessionals who are always rude and never willing to help. I wonder

Last year 2008 April 15, Times of India launced their chennai issue newspaper. I am one of the subscribed member. During the last 11 months i never received a single issue newspaper. i complained many times. They are not bothering about my complaints. whenever i complaint they told we will arrange within two day but still now i am not getting the newspaper.I dont know what can i do. I am regular reader of times of india newspaper. I start my day by reading this newspaper but it is realy sad that there is no single article on shahid divas (23 march 1931) in today's pune times of india. I know there are many news which are importent however we should not forget atleast bhagat singh who made a big effect to release the country.There is not a single line written about bhagat singh in today's newspaper. I think it is realy importent to right about jade goody or IPL matches rather than the contribution of our freedom fighters who sacrified their life for the country.

Times Of India — Vendor collecting service charge

Sir,
I'm staying in an Apartment in HSR Layout, Bangalore. There are around 450 flats in the apartment and a single vendor is supplying news paper. The news paper dealer is charging additional Rs.10 as service charge in the monthly bill. Atleast one or two days in a month they won't supply news paper (not the same day for all flats. They do it randomly).

1. When I said that I am not ready to pay service charge, they asked to complain where ever I want and stopped supplying the news paper from next day.
2. When I told that I didn't get the news paper for 2 days (gave the dates also), they told that it is not their fault. I don't know what proof I can give. They charged for the days they haven't supplied the paper.

Many residents in the apartment have already given complaint to Times. But of no use.

Times Of India Daily Newspaper — Please Don’t Become TOI Newspaper’s Annual Subscriber

This is with reference to TOI newspaper's annual subscription in Hyderabad.

The nightmare starts with their marketing personnel who come after you until you’ve signed up and paid in advance for a 6-monthly or annual subscription of the Times of India newspaper. The paper is supplied through their distribution network for a period of 1 or 2 months and abruptly stopped! Now it is the subscriber’s turn to go after them in order to get the paper delivered at their doorstep.

The paper boy informs that he did not get the newspaper from the TOI distribution network. If you contact them, they never lift their telephones. In case if they do, then very genuinely they ask for your address details and hang up. One would expect some outcome for this, perhaps the daily newspaper that you’ve already paid for and are entitled to receive. But alas, not yet!

Then you start contacting their Banjara Hills office[protected]/[protected]. You’ll be most certainly greeted by some radhika, angel, swati, rama or sandhya who will again repeat the same procedure of gathering your address and subscription details. You’ll either be assured that the issue will get resolved or they might ask you to contact the area manger (sravan kumar or srinivasulu or kishore). All this drama goes on for about a fortnight or so, and then it is your sheer luck if you manage to get the daily once again at your doorstep.

I’ve been a subscriber since four or five years now and it has happened to me time and again. So be cautious while renewal of your annual subscription.

You are really correct. The same problem I have been facing from VIJAYAKARNATAKA - owned by TIMES only. I am fed up with them. No newspaper for me for more than 2 months.
I have subscribed on mid-MAY 2009. Initially delivered in time for about 2 weeks. Then actual problem begin! Twice a week no papers. Thereafter irregularity broadened for 10 days no paper!!
After several telephonic & personal visits delivery started. But just after few days continuously 1 MONTH newspaper did not delivered.
Now this is another continuous 4 weeks where-in I did not get any Newspaper!!!...
When I bombarded with them for the REFUND, they informed that the agent is coming to the house and refunding the entire money. So, I have been WAITING FOR THAT AGENT TO COME, since 10 days...

I am residing in Bhatshobha Apt,Bhatwadi,Ghatkopar(w).and we have been taking times of india & maharashtra times from last Two year and renewal period is half yearly so at each renwal agent is demanding money of suscription before the end of date and not giving any Payment receipt (i.e. he is taking money after 4 to 5 month) and now we rejected to provide any check before the date of expiration of suscription which this dec'09 so he stopped out newspaper which is supposed to deliver till dec'09 and he is doing it with all society people hence request you to let me know how can i logged legal complaint against him in times of India of anyother way...Please help me...

I would suggest that you should rather subscribe to Maharashtra Timews by post.

Kindly check out on the newspaper's website whether they are still providing this facility. there shall be no agent, hence the payment shall be through Demand draft.

I was surprised to see the type of service / attitude of the people who work in the Subscription department. I am also facing the same problem. I didnt receive paper for about a month and after visiting 4 times to their office, got the paper. There is no single point of contact for complaints and more over looks TOI is more interested in getting the subscription and not the consumer satisfaction.

Agents are more interested in collecting the coupons rather than supplying the news paper.

The paper distributor of our locality who gives me the paper asks me service charge of 30 rupees monthly to be paid to him. I am not getting if the national paper like you can cheat us this way, then i think there is no hope for this country, INDIA. I am S.Raghuraman residing at Madipakkam, chennai-91. I have subscribed for annual distribution of Times of India-daily megazine for[protected]I was gifted a bag I remember) with effect from 01.07.2008 (I remember) and the paper was delivered by a Local agency called 'Selvakumar News Agency", Madipakkam and for[protected] supply, he himself informed that dont pay to you directly and he collected the payment and not given any receipt so far.I had been asking for the same now and then during the past. He always used to say that he has misplaced somewhere and will trace it out and bring!! Alongwith with this I asked to him deliver sunday Dinamalar paper and weekly Ananda vikadan also. Every month, he used to charge Rs.100/-per month..Every time he comes for payment during buzzy hours (children school goingand me office going!!) without giving time for calculation, I too paid Rs.100 for the last 11 months!!. Suddenly during one Sunday, while I was going through calendar, it was striked out that why the shop keeper charges Rs.100 for every month while the real charge is Rs.76 for 4 sundays (month) and 95 for 5 sundays (month). I asked for clarification while he came for payment for May'10 payable in June'10 first week!! He said that there is service charge for such paper delivery but I gave the payment!!. Since yesterday (15.06.2010) he stopped delivering Times of India paper. Today, in the morning while I was thinking about such incident and response by the shop keeper, behaviour to stop the deliveries, I was not able to convince myself and went to the Shop, he argues with false information as if subscription over by 13.06.2010 itself. I asked my receipt for 2009-10 subscription and how can he charge excess amount every month, doest he have honesty in the Business or communication?? Times of India never informed that there would be service charge for deliveries! the he said that the charge is for sunday deliveries (Dinamalar & weekly Ananda vikadan). I asked that there are 4-5 sundays in a month and more over he is not coming for deliveries for Dinamalar & Ananda Vikadan alone, It is along with Times of India!! In case asked for that at the time of ordering for additional sunday paper/ weeklies, I would have decided to accept or not!! The shop keeper bahaviour is un-ethical and un-tolerable!!. I request Times of India to check such un-fair minded agencies and keep them away from your network!! A lso, please check my 2008-09 subscription period (expiry) and then renewal can be justified!! It is not a matter of excess payment!! False and poor attitude should not be entertained !! I need justice!! If he had requested fo service charge at the time of ordering I would paid hapily!! But not lies!!

Hi Everyone,

I am a resident of flat No K-45 Ridgewood estate, Phase 4 DLF, Near Galleria Market, Gurgaon staying there from the last 8 months. I took the decision to stay in Ridgewood Estate just because of Security. Security was my only concern. I am very unhappy with the DLF as my Bike got stolen on 1st of June 2010 from the parking area no K-18 below the building inside the campus at 3 PM where around 200 guards take care of security. No action has been taken by Police and DLF Security as the FIR was lodged on the same day itself, FIR no 212 in Sector 29 Thana, Gurgaon. I called several numbers of times to DLF Security but no one gave response and disconnected the call. I waited for the police to come till now and now it’s the time to make aware people about the DLF societies is no more a safe place to live. My Area Agent Mr.Murthi ( MGR Nager) was not supplies your News Paper, The Times of India, regularly, some times he supply the today paper and following the next day itself. To day 21.10.2010 also he does not come and supply the paper. Last month he collect an amount of Rs.500/- with my wife towards subcripition for one year and does not given the balance due to he had not sufficient changes in hand, and told to come again after he could collect the changes in near by shops, but he could not come and given the balance, and after 15 days I went to his residence in MGR Nager and collect the balance amount of Rs.200/- and asked the Receipt for Rs.300/- towards Subcription and he told that he will come on Monday and handover, since till date he could not given the Receipt. Most of time his Part Time Employee were come to my house and given the newspaper, and we ask the man he could not see his Employer to-day and the next morning he would ask his boss. This is the irreiation to your readers . Hence kindly clear this problem and do the needful and oblige.

I read news paper regularly and its quite good in its views. Recently its upsetting to see importance given to the kind of photos u give on front page. Dhoni spending time with his wife in some beach is a private thing, please don’t make it a public issue by giving a big snap in front page. Some xyz getting married to abc doesn’t make sense in our lives. People cant take everything you show and write. Sensible reporting is very important when reading of newspaper is reducing with each day. There are other sources to get crap news let your paper be only a good source of information. Make sense.

i had subscribed Time of India News Paper for next 6 months by paying Rs 299. on Nov 13th 2010 and my recipt no 197051. They told that i will be getting News Paper for ist Jan. but they didn't delivered the paper till today(3 rd december 2010)

Please let me know the status why i am unable to geting the paper.

I A.Aron had paid the yearly subscription for the year[protected] but unfortunatly for a week the paper was supplied.after making a number of attemt for a complaint through the mobile it went in to vein. At Last during the renewal the paper supplier agreed for a continue supply and it is being supplied regularly except few days through an other agent whose name is Mr.Guhan Mobile No-[protected]. But Mr, Guhan has not been given the paid receipt of the paper which i do not have a proof nor the No of the receipt right now which is being asked from me daily by mr guhan.
In this regard kindly help me out by tracing the order copy no so that the same no can be refered to Mr.Guhan for unintrupted supply of News paper.

Pertaining to this i had requested the peper agent to supply the paper which went in vain.While subsequent subscription for the year[protected]when paid the agent agreed and deployed other supplier in liu of him.The new agent was supplying promptly except few important days.
Now the new Agent is demanding the reciept which was already handed over to the old agent.Also i do not have any duplicate receipt or the paid receipt no. In this regard kindly help me out for unintrupted supply of news paper by informing the receipt no directly to him or to me.

One of your RRE’s Mr. Nishanth (RRE code R02009 Mob No: [protected]) had come to my door on 1st Apr 2011 with a special offer to subscribe Times Of India Dhamaka Offer. Order No: 21o517, Sunday Times Dhamaka Offer. Order No: 207936, I agree to the terms & paid him by cheque (chq no:074842 dt:04/01/11 DCBank). Mr. Nishanth promised me that my subscription would start on 8th Apr 2011.

On 8th Apr 2011, I did not receive my subscription. So, I advice people over here not to believe in such offers...

I am really very unhappy with the horrible customer service provided to me by The Times of India. I either want my issue to be resolved or I need to cancel my subscription. Such incompetence is unacceptable.

we have subscribed TOI & ET for six months as per your offer scheme wide cheque no. 660945 drawn on indian bank ulhasnagar branch for Rs. 499/- which was cleared on 1-12-10. since 10 days we are not recieving both news papers.the vendor is also absconding from his usual place(near swami shanti prakash statue opp. state bank of india netaji kurla road ulhasnagar 04)

kindly stop issuing the above 2 papers to the concered agents and issue us letter/ coupens to enable us to make arrangement of recieving it through some another agent.

It has been observed time and time again of how socially irresponsible this newspaper has become.
The daily pictures printed in Pune times and Pune Mirror are obscene and indecent. Why do you people call yourself a newspaper agency, might as well start a adult magazine and print all these obscenity in that. Why carry out such things under the banner of a city name??
one of the examples Pune times, 27th June2011, page 25 has an obscene picture of some female .
Previously i even wrote to the editorofthe newspaper regarding the obscenity issues in this newspaper but no action hasbeen taken. Why do you people make obscene stories and pictures as your USP.It just shows you people lack talent and usesuch meansto cover up lack of potential news.
Why give news on film industry daily , that too on the front pageofthe pune times.
Is there a newspaper council watching overthese complaints???

paper boy who is delivering my copy only at 6,45 or7am daily.his excuse is he is delivering other papers of other companies,namely tamil dailies etc.i receive my THE HINDU sharp at 5.30am that too by a old man delivering.inspite of my so many complaints to TIMES OF INDIA office,to send thru only who delivers TIMES OF INDIA so that i can get in time,so far it yielded no results.

i had posted a letter together with photocopy of your vendors bill, pertaining to overcharges of combo ecotimes plus times of india for 5 days and week days times of india. vendors address is sharma news agency rajkori newdelhi mobile number [protected]. he charges rs 190 as against bill of rs 160 to 165 permonth. he charges rs 5 fro wealth mangement supplement od ecotimes every month. i have yet to hear about my complaint. according to him, if i dont want this supplement, he has instructions to stop supply of r ecotimes. please confirm the above policy of overcarging and forcing to buy supplement even if you dont want. it is ridivculous to but newspapewr at rs 2 and its supplement for rs 5. i may change over to hindustantimes rather pay at will and wish of vendor

I made cheque payment of Rs 299/- for Times of India News paper for one year subscription. The cheque cleared on 11/05/2012, Cheque no 9415533 Dealer Code 20838370 till date we did not we did not receive any news paper as expected. I doubt if this could be a common issue with Times of India subscription. I appreciate if someone can look at the issues; even though the amount seams to be small cheating cannot be allowed. Expecting immediate action.

My complaint is about filthy, vulgar and downright scandolous comments posted on your website by your readers. There is no moderation on your part. No cutting out of vulgar dirty comments. Please make sure that an unbiased and decent team reads the comments and filters out scandolous stuff from reaching your site.

I also have a similar problem now. I have been subscribing TI basis annual subscription. Last week my agent collected the renewal cheque. Neither has he started giving the paper nor has the cheque deposited. I am at a loss to understand the reasons. The customer care number of Times of India given to me are not responding. Pls do the needful.

I am annual subscriber of Times of India at Chennai. My annual subscription Bill NO. NAH 027532 dated 15 12 11. The paper is being supplied regularly. For the last 4 days i.e. from Sunday 15 07 2012. I am the regular reader of Times of India, it regretted to say that the publisher has used mark of rupee (`)in head lines only and used Rs. In detailed news. It is against the nationality of India. However used $ in case of dollar every where inhead lines as well as in new in detailed.

Sir, I and my classmates(180 student approx.)have completed my MBA from the college Al-Barkaat Institute of Management Studies (Affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University) in 2010 It has been two years since i have been waiting for my degree. This institute is playing with our present and future they take 4 to 5 lakhs from each student and every year they making more than 6 crore without giving any degree and they have same business plan for this year also to make new student fool by this fraud business. I shall never recommend anyone to study at Al-Barkaat Institue of Management Studies, and I want some strict action should be taken by the Government of India against such institutes and colleges. GOI also should inquire, why year after year since inception UPTU delays the process of providing degree to their pass out students. The Normal UPTU degree awarding gap is almost a year. That is if you pass in 2010 you may receive your degree in 2011 by the same time/month.

Please look after this complaint as most of my classmates from the same college also suffering.

Please be advised that, during the month of September, i happen to subscribe to TOI (chennai edition) newspaper effective 1st nov 2012. The subscription was done through a representative of theirs at my doorstep. I happen to pay a total of 300.00 RS for 1 year subscription effective 1st nov. The concerned person, did state that i would be receiving a courier with the coupons which i need to pass on to my newspaper agent. However, till date i have not received any coupons.

Vendor told me that he will not give this offer as you are reading other paper i.e. Hindustan Times. Kindly investigate this matter and confirm. In my opinion, there is nexus among vendors and scheme providers.
