I have placed the Order 25 days before.. Timtara people are unable to deliver it on time(6-8 working days). So, I have been asked by Timtara to get the refund. But now after 25 days even refund is not reflecting on my Credit card. ( It should take only 7 working days).

Please Refund my Money ASAP.

I never faced such harassment in my 6 Years of experience of Online Shopping (mostly from baazee.com currently known as eBay.in, eBay.com, Indiaplaza.in, tradus.in etc) but after dealing with timtara.com I'll always rethink before paying in a new born online shopping site.

Part-II with this Unfortunate deal

After posting this complain Timtara people contact me evening yesterday on 20th October,2011 offering me Replacement of the used and defective wrist watch along with a Reebok Wrist Watch and a Rs.1000.00 Gift Voucher as compensation.

But I am really not interested in any kind of compensation. Only thing I am interested is the value for I paid that is replacement of the used and defective watch.

Timtara send me a mail today on 21st October 2011 asking me to pack the watch properly as they have arranged a pickup with afl courier. But the thing is that I don't have enough faith on Timtara.com to send the item back expecting a fare business and expecting a proper replacement.

I make the payment first trusting them and the broke it now if they really want to rectify their image and reputation they have to trust me and send the fresh and proper item first.

Expecting a sincere step from Timtara.com and thanks a lot to consumercourt.in.

But second item with
Order #10105593
Order Date:[protected] x Timex Expedition Men Watch - T49818 which is worth Rs.3854.00 was not being shipped even after committed period.


Their response over mail is very poor and asking for 72 hours to let know about the status, then 48 hours again then 24 hours more but nobody is able to reply properly. The performance of the call center is also as good as mails.

After average 4/5 phone calls per day they bothered to let me know that they are unable to ship the item as it is unavailable with them and offered me a Timex Expedition Men Watch - T49819 of same price.

Though the booking for Timex Expedition Men Watch - T49818 is still going on till the time I am writing. May be checked in Timtara.com

Considering their performance and reading about their refund reputation I accept and received the item today on 19th October 2011 evening with modified order.

But the suffering is still remain. The wrist watch found

1. previously used.

2. Found in running condition (without the plastic clip in the Center Crown)

3. Without the plastic protection on the glass cover and back cover.

4. Damaged Battery (as the backlight found very dim and fluctuating)

5. The belt is dirty and contain the patches of previous use.

Which is duly informed to Timtara.com just after receiving the item without and hope of solution.

In fact I lost the faith on them so that I can not send it back asking for a refund.

So please beware of Timtara.com and go through all documents before dealing with them.

As expected from a FRAUD ORGANIZATION like Timtara.com they stopped communicating even after the commitments written above (though I did not trust them very much).

But thank god I did not step in their trap any more because if I really send the USED and Defective wrist watch back to them expecting a fresh one they never bother to return or communicate any more and I loose whatever I get.

Thus by paying Rs.4330.00 I got items worth hardly Rs. 2000.00

The last communication with Timtara.com may seen in the printout of the mail enclosed below. Moreover they are still advertising for Timex Expedition Men Watch - T49818 as per their statement which is not available to them and they send me a different model.

Anyway before you make any transaction with Timtara.com please consider their reputation. I really worried about their attitude. They are not sitting for a long time business and I think they are going gather a considerable no of order and in one fine morning you will 404 Page Not Found by typing Timtara.com in your browser.

I had a very bad experience with Timtara. I ordered a Canon camera on their website and paid the amount and was promised that I would get the delivery in 4 to 5 days. I did not even received the
item in 10 days. I mailed them and was told that they would ship in next 48 hours. I tried calling their customer care, nobody picked up the call. Now I am feeling cheated by this site. I don’t know how they claim that they are best in customer experience but I don’t know on what basis they claim it. Yes they are best at avoiding and making false commitments after taking money from the customers. Tey take customers for ride. so beware of Timtara.com e-Commerce website.

1 - Although the site says:- Delivery between 5-7 working days still I got the order only on 21st Sept that also after 5 calls & 4 emails.
2 - I was promised that I will get a Starter Kit for this & later on after sending multiple emails & calls, they agreed to send it (I have the mail proof of that), but I havnt received yet. I have already sent around 6 emails & made around 10 calls.
3 - I had to pay an Octori Rs. 385.00 (I have the receipt) which I was not supposed to pay. After repeated emails & calls they agreed but still I have not got the refund.

Most of the times, no one picks up the calls. When I call them they will send an email. When I will email them they will give a complaint ID (so far I have got 2 complaint IDs) but of no use. Its almost 2 months & still I am unable to use the product.

Please advise what should be the next steps. I would like to file a case against them.

I like to express my grievances that I have booked one F&D Multimedia Speaker System from TIMTARA.COM on 29th July 2011 and payment made through Debit Card at the same time.They said delivery with in 7-10 working days.Meanwhile they verified order details & address.On 30th July 2011 , when timtara not delivered me the product in committed period I have given mail seeking order status for which they replied that we will inform u soon with vendor discussion...no reply came for 3 days . again I called them for status but they fail to give any satisfactory or complete answer on phone. after that they will not reply my call and the always use to disconnect my call whenever I called them. finally they received my call and answered me that the product is out of stock although the product listed in their website and appearing in available list, Finally I have approach for refund and they replied that I will get my full refund amount in 5-7 working days I have approached for refund on 22nd August 2011, when i haven't received any refund in 5-7 working days, again I contacted them and they replied that the refund is already initiated and It will reflect in my account in next 48 hours but no refund has been received by me till date, and for my suprise when I have login in TIMTARA my account status showing that the amount is refunded (you can see the status), but amount is not refunded to me.

I have ordered for the product on 29th July 2011 and today is 8th September 2011 but no resolution has made till date neither they deliver the product nor refund me my full amount.

This is sort of harassment ,they will not shipped or refund it,as they got the amount prior..Finally I am planning to register an FIR of cheating case against the TIMTARA.COM. They never take any responsibility to deliver the product or refund me on time. I am collecting all required documents to put an proper FIR against TIMTARA. They have halted my full amount from last 2 months, I also need valuable advice from you.

I like to express my greivances that I have booked one 1 prestige oven from TIMTARA.COM on 21st July 2011 and payment made through netbanking at the same time.They said delivery with in 8-10 days.Meanwhile they verified order details & address.On 22nd July 2011 ,I given mail seeking order status for which they replied that we will inform u soon with vendor discussion...no reply came . again I called them for status but they fail to give any satisfactory answer on phone.on 30rd July 2011 they mail me it will be despatched with in 2 working days..
on 3rd I again requseted order satus through mail but no reply...when making call they said due to stock problem it got delayed ,you will get it in next few days.

This is sort of harassment ,they will not shipped it,as they got the amount prior..Pls register fraudulent and cheating case against the TIMTARA.COM.They never informed me over this delayed item ,I have to follow up.All suppoting documents for further consideration.

I have purchased one digital camera from 'www.timtara.com' on 21st may 2011. They promise a delivery of within 7 days. But it is now 6th june and i still not received the item. I send one enquiry mail on their customer service mail id on 29th may and on the next day i received one mail saying my product is shipped with an airway bill number but with out even specifying the courier service name. I have also purchased one pendrive on 28th may which is not even shipped till now...!!!

When i wrote about the issue on their facebook page, instead of replying to that they just deleted it and removed me from their 'Like' list. So i'm complaining about the issue here.
