I perches titan watch at panchwati titan show room.The cost of the watch is 7500.Whiten a year three times watch stopped.After I kept it at the service center for one month.Service is not available at show room so another titan show room at c g road I kept it.I had gave more money for extra one year service.Changing of the cell was include.This service is not available at c g road.It is only at panchwati show room.As a coustemar I feel that the approach at service centers is not good.I do not purchase another titan watch.

    I bought a Titan watch - model no 9851SM01 - Cluster - FASHI from Titan Industries Ltd - apex Chambers - Tnagar on 10/7/2011 for my daughter. This was a gift for her getting admission into NUS and she left to Singapore on July 16th 2011. The watch stopped working from July 17th 2011. when she returned for Vacation in December 2011, the watch was serviced on 16/12/11 and the battery was replaced. On 17/12/2011 the watch again did not work. When we contacted the showroom, the showroom staff said that they wanted to keep the watch under observation for 1 week after which the watch was collected. My daughter had taken the watch with her to Singapore, but unfortunately the watch did now work at all. We have again given the watch for servicing on 5/7/2012 for which the sales staff accepted there was a fault , but when the watch was collected on 6/7/2012, the sales person Mr. Sundar - phone no - [protected] claims that we have dropped the watch. Rather surprisingly Mr. Sundar could not identify that we had dropped on 5th july is it.
    When we asked for the policy of the company if the problem reoccurs - Mr. Sundar says that policy of the company cannot be shared with customers. Are policies made for employees or for customers?

    Highly recommend consumers not to purchase items from Titan Industries - their products are deficient and their service is awful.

      I got a bitter experience on the so called "Raga" watch which i purchased from Noida sector -18 Titan Showroom for my wife ,everything was there including warranty for the gold plating...but it stopped working after 4 months..i showed it in Titan service centre Trivandrum,they changed the watch machine entirely free of cost(they need to as it was under guarantee period)..but after 2 weeks again it stopped working...

      What kind of quality assurance is given by titan for its such a Luxury brand!!!!!!!!1

        Chrono is not working
        I am purchase watch the titan new model 2 month before 5/3/12 watch model no is 9308km01 the problem is watch i am purchase date to today watch chrono is not working so what to do i am go the consumer court . Dealer says i dont know what the meaning of the chrono main area distrubutor says i dont know what the mening of chrono .My contact no is [protected].         Titan Watch — Chrono is not working

        Titan company is bad company no solution in the watch model 9308km01
        The comapny is frauad no response in solution why should be writing in titan web site they telling in model is now chrono but it is not working .this is only stop watch . I am telling all of coustmer they are not purchase in this model 9308km01,9308km02, all model chrono is not working. The company manager tell him i am made .           I have purchased two sun glass . i have received mail from titan in that msg contains buy one get one free (sun glass ), after visiting showroom they telling , only for selected glass , finally i decide to purchase worst sun glass , its copy of rayban , after using 15 days ,frame screw becomes loose. then i taken to service center , service in charge kanchna naidu told .only you can claim 120 rs only . that also you suppose to buy new sun glass . then only you get discount on that 120,

          Finally I decided . i wont visit titan show room

            Hello,
            My name is Vipul H Vyas i owe a titan eye make spectacles which i procured from their vidhyanagar based shop (Gujarat) as i got my eyes checked from their showroom and was diagonosed of computer vision syndrom, soon i ordered a spec from them for which they convinced me that it shall contain multiple layers which shall protect my eyes from harmful rays of computer and will even save my eyes while driving during night. But now i am facing a problem of abrupt scratches on its lens and am even noticing spreading of light while night driving which i think is very dangerous. In this regard i have lodged complaint against them and hav even visited physically to their showroom but neither of them were successful to convince me with satisfactory answer in fact they dint even answer with sympathy.
            If this is the condition of glasses of ( 2000 Rs) Titan eye i.e. such a reputed firm then i think an ordinary spec of 300 Rs shall suffice our needs, because we customers go for such a high profile spec thinking we are spending on our valuable god gifted eyes but if vendors do their sale with evil intentinions than its of no use for going for it.

            This is indeed very shameful for such a reputed brand, i am hughely disappointed with their treatment and their product too.

              We are the customers of your esteemed organization and our purchases of frames and lenses are
              as under from your shop at
              TITAN INDUSTRIES LIMITED
              Shop No.3, 4 &5 Ground Floor
              Raghuvir Jn of SVP Road & Ganjawala lane
              Borivli(west) Mumbai-400092.:-
              (1)Mrs. Sunita N. Shah Invoice No.:BCC0001879 Dated:23/11/2011.
              (2)Mr. Siddhesh Shah Invoice No.:BCC0001203 Dated:29/06/2011.
              (3)Ms. Shraddha Shah Invoice No.:BCC0002538 Dated:21/03/2012.
              However in my case (Mrs. Sunita N. Shah) I found number of scratches on lenses which is a
              manufacturing defect and has drawn the attention of the Store-in-Charge Mr. Manish Chauhan on
              21/03/2012, 04/04/2012, 08/04/2012 and on 15/04/2012 and lodged oral as well as written
              complaint to him. However he gave a standard reply, `As per the company’s policy and practise
              the lenses do not have any guarantee for repair and replacement and is not bound by after
              sales services and if you have any complaint then you write to our office on the email address
              mentioned in the bill. ’
              I am using the spectacles since last more than 35 years and have purchased from the ordinary
              retail shops (NOT BRANDED) and have never come across such defects and whenever any problem
              arises the same was attended immediately with due respect and to our (customer’s)
              satisfaction.
              A customer comes to a shop of esteemed organization like yours, even though it is highly
              priced as compared to non-branded retail shops with an intention and expectation that not only
              that there is product perfection with no manufacturing defect but also to get better after
              sales services and proper care of their eyes with perfect vision. However neither we get
              perfect after sales services nor do they care about the customer’s problems.
              Thus, you are requested to direct the personnel in charge of above store to attend our
              problems/concerns and to replace the defective lenses or any other appropriate remedial
              actions.
              I would like to draw your attention that I have stopped using the aforesaid lenses and am
              using my old spectacles to protect my eyes and vision as my problem has not been addressed
              since last more than a month and if no such corrective measures are taken by your office, not
              only me but many like me will not be visiting your esteemed stores.
              I hope and wish that my problems are addressed immediately so that we can continue to remain
              your customer who can take care of our eyes and the concerns.

                Tanishq is a cheat and fraud company. They don't care for their commitments and have a very snob behavior. The have some scheme where a CARD is issued and some points get added on each purchase. These points can be used for getting some discounts after a certain number of points get accumulated on the card. My wife and sister, both have fallen prey to their marketing gimmicks in this scheme. Although they claim to be an all India company...

                I purchased a gold chain on Akshaya Trithiya and it broke on the very second day..There was no mishandling or chain snatching..I called the showroom and they asked me to come with the bill. But, instead of exchanging or repairing, they refused to provide any exchange even when i was ready to buy another piece of heavier weight. Brand name is useless..I will never again purchase gold from Tanishq.The service should be provided as it says as the chain broke within 7 days. Worthless, hopeless...Tanishq.

                  dear sir,
                  I have been into the watch sales & service since 1947 at kasaragod, kerala, and have been selling titan watches from 2003. Thing were good till 2008, but complaints of gold plating have started on titan watches which are not solved till date. Now it is a nightmare for me to sell titan watches as it would definitely going to come back to me for guarantee claim on gold plating. The reason for writing this complaint on this site is just to make the gentlemen running the business for titan industries to look at the Quality of their product as it had already damaged the reputation of the titan watches & in turn the retailers like we. Today I had a embarrassing situation at my outlet where one of my very old customer has thrown the watch on my face in front of other few customers, which he had purchased on 23 rd Feb 2012 from my outlet. There were several incidents which often put me into embarrassment, this if one of them. Now I have started to tell my customers about the poor quality of the titan watch gold platings & to co operate incase any such complaints they come across, in a move to save my reputation. The customer is all to me.

                      I am N.Venkateswara Rao resident Hyderabad. I have purchased Spectacle (frame with Progressive lens) from Titan Eye show room located at Banjarahills, Hyderabad, vide bill no. BAE0014173 dated 05/03/2012 for Rs.15,206/-. After one week I started using the same, as I have already one old spectacle with me. When I was working with this new spects, to my surprise I found TATA logo with other small marks were engraved on the lens, which are obstructing my vision and it has become impossible to use such spects with some permanent marks on it. I went to show room at Banjarahills and have given my verbal complaint, the show room officials straight away said it is very common for TATA lens to have their company logo being engraved and I have to bare with it. Having no option, I told them that I will knock the door of justice through my lawyer. They said do whatever you want. I am so upset with these kind of customer care by a reputed company like TATA group. Well, even now I don't know what to do next, should I go to consumer court or send a legal notice to them. This is the plight of a customer.

                        I have purchased TITAN EDGE 10444L-L572 watch from M/s Banwari Lal Associates P Ltd, Ashok Nagar, Ghaziabad in Rs 7900/. It become defective of machine and chain. I visited to above shop and asked about in Dec 11. He charged Rs 1370/ regarding repair charges and told that rod button and circuit is not covered by guarantee. And also he changed the chain by another quality chain and given the delivery on 22-1-12. Today this watch get again defective. In this way I am tired of TITAN watch and its company dealer. If a watch of such a range is so defective and not covered by guarantee is useless to the customer and cheating to the customer. So please do the needfull. Thanks

                            I am s nayak here, want to let u know that how TITAN WORLD cheating to customer.
                            when i purchase a model of titan 9280sab around 4000 rupees . In night time due low light and faith upon the brand i cannot able to see inner problem was there.
                            means inside dial 8th number bar was came out.
                            when i was complaint next days instead of change the watch or return the money they change the dial and not provide any document or bill
                            of repair. and i think they will sell it once again as there is dial no and machine number are same in perticular model.

                            so dear consumer dont believe in titan world blindly as a reputed or old organization . Please verify everything before purchase especially night time.

                            friend i come to know one thing as a reputed organization the sellers are misbehaving even though they have fault.

                            As i suffer by one of the titan world (bansankari iii stage, bangalore) . i want to make u aware about it.
                            And kind request to all of customer please put the aware ness complaint i[censored] suffer any such type of incident .

                              Exploitation of Titan eye showroom....Surat. Each piece of lens of same frame are of different shapes. They have broken my frame of Mont Banc and telling its a company error. This is a Shame for Titan - TATA.

                              Very Disgusting and Shame ful. they are keeping me waiting since a week .... :( and still lingering on....
                              same ---- y does TATA doesnt take any action...

                                Terrible Tanishq Experience: We recently purchased a gold chain for my 4 year old son from Tanishq at Cuttack, Orissa. Tanishq gives a 7 days full refund guarantee. Since this was for an occasion, my son did not wear it for some days (until 7 days). When he started wearing (probably around 7th or 8th day), he complained some irritation around the neck area and when we looked at the chain, it had broken parts (more than 1) that was pinching his neck. My wife took it to the Cuttack Tanishq store (probably on 10th or 12th day after purchase). We did not want to get the refund, but to get the credit from Cuttack Tanishq so that we can purchase at Bhubaneswar Tanishq, where we believed better collection was available. Initially, Cuttack Tanishq told my wife that nothing is possible, and we have to lose the making charge (just get credit for the gold - which is a normal process of exchange for old jewelry). When insisted that this is manufacturing defect, and we could not have known within 7 days since we bought this for an occasion and after talking to manager of the store (and waste around 2 hours of our precious time) they suggested that they will send this information to their Bangalore office and wait to get approval for full credit, which will come in 2 to 3 days. Also we have to buy from that same store (Cuttack), not from Bhubaneswar (I guess Tanishq claims that you can purchase from any store and exchange at any other). If we have to buy it from BBSR, then that store has to send to Cuttack store and we make the final purchase (or exchange) from Cuttack store. Anyway, we have to wait for 3 days and also not sure of whether the approval will come. The experience also does not end there - we expect some more horrible experience when we go to BBSR store and Cuttack store to get the exchange (in case the approval comes).

                                I would like to share this experience with all my friends in facebook so that you are careful in making purchasing decision from Tanishq. My brother-in-law had a similar issue with another local Jewelry shop in Bhubaneswar and the local shop gave full credit (exchange with another jewelry) within a month (at least after 15 days of the original purchase).

                                  in april 2011 i had made acomplaint against the dealer in ANSAL MALL PALAM VIHAR GURGOAN to the customer care via e mail and phone.I HAD TO THE SHOP TO BUY AFRAME FOR MY rayban LENS. THE DAY I GET A CALL THAT THEY HAVE BROKEN one of tne lens.ahd i can come and collect it.INSTEAD OFassuring me of replacing the salesman had the audicity to say that i can go and report to anyone.however i again reported the matter and even talked to the AREA MANAGER AND HE ASSUREDme that he will look into the matter.but till date iam waiting for the reply.In between the dealer sent his sales person to take my 1 lens to match the colour.THIS HAS also been over 4 mths. I NEVER EXPECTED SUCH A RESPONSE FROM SUCH A REPUTED COMPANY LIKE TATAS.BEFORE i write to higher authorities i wish they will reply and return my ranban lens.

                                    I have purchased two pair of Costly Spectacles (frame and HMC glass) during Jan2011 for around INR40,000 from the Titan Plus at Adyar,Chennai.In one of the spec's the coating got peeled within three months and due to work I was not able to go the Titan show room.Mean while th coating has peeled of at many places and I could read properly.I have given the glass on Dec02-2011 and they have taken it and accepted it is quality related issuse and hence they are send it to the Titan eye Corp office at Bangalore.I have made several calls and still I am yet to receive the old or new glass from Titan.
