Not working properly

New Titan watch was purchased from the titan showroom, which was returned back to them for servicing 3-4 times, still not working properly, 3 reminders of mails sent to the customercare ID of the Titan, still no revert from them.Details of mail attached below.

ON 08/03/2011 when I went to exchange the watch the sales woman refused to exchange that the same could not be done since the watch was adjusted to my wrist size. When I asked her the terms and conditions noted in the bill under column No.1 where it has been mentioned that the products can be exchanged within two days from the date of purchase on presentation of the bill she refused to exchange and just ignored my request and tried to avoid me. The behaviour was exactly different when compared to the yesterday's behaviour. Further I wish to inform you that I have purchased one more fast track watch under the same bill and since she explained the offer of discount I decided to purchase the TITAN RAGA watch. She did not explained any of the procedure for exchange yesterday. I am totally disgusted with the behaviour of the sales woman.     Respected Sir / Mam,

    I have bought one SPK from TitanEye+ along with their insurance scheme. Since beginning I am facing problem and always visit my nearest show room from where I have bought. But no proper support from them.

    However the Shop Engineer has admitted that the issue with frame only. I have made a complaint to TitanEye+ corporate office also. But no proper response. As per my last 8-9 visit, I get harassed very badly.

      I have been staying in Bangalore since 5 years and is happy with the service my optometrist has been providing me since then. However this time lured by the swanky looks of Titan Eye+ stores decided to take a chance with them.

      I bought my frame from them in 2009. Last month my spectacle glasses broke accidentally and hence visited Titan Eye+ store located on New Bel Road, Bangalore on Mar 18, 2011 and placed the order for 1.9 index glass as my number is very high. On visiting the store Mr Nasir Ahmed said they required 10 days and I obliged despite knowing that outside vendors take only about 4 days every time. However I clearly stated the urgency and problem I could undergo if they delay more for which they committed 10 days.

      But Since 11th day till 14th day, which is today I have made numerous calls asking for status but have always got an answer that it has been dispatched from Delhi and it is due to reach them. And speaking to store manager Mr Prasad also didn't help at all as he comfortably put the blame on first courier, then their vendor etc insensitively thus asking me to wait. Only when I completely lost my patience I asked for a refund and Prasad and Nasir Ahmed agreed to do so.

      Reason of writing this post here is to make future buyers aware of this issue with Titan Eye+ considering how troublesome it could turn out to be for us glass wearers.

      I genuinely hope Titan Eye+ management pays heed to this and equips its personnel with adequate training on sensitivity and also ensures proper commitments are made. I wouldn't recommend to anyone henceforth for sure.

        Recently I purchased a Titan Eye frame from Titan Eye showroom in HRBR layout branch.
        The frame was a defective piece and we realised this only after reaching home. On taking it back to the showroom, the Titan eye employees told me that they would get me a replacement with 2 days.
        After 2 days, I got the information that the same model is not available with them and that they need more time to get it from another showroom.
        I waited 10 days for this, and now they tell me they have repaired the same piece. I should take the repaired piece or take my money back.

        I think the brand Titan Eye was a good one. But if this is the kind of service, I can very well go to the local Optician shop in my neighborhood.

        Now I want a new piece, Please tell me how do I go about this.

        I can escalate this issue to the higher authorities, please keep this in mind.

          Worst Service in Jayanagar Branch

          I have bought spectacle from Titan Eye+ Jayanagar 4th Block Branch, at the time of delivery there was some alignment problem in the frame later I was not able to use the spectacle due to this problem. So, I took it to the Jayanagar Titan branch (where I bought) for fixing it on Feb 26th. While aligning they broke one glass (right side) and they rejected to replace the glass.           i have purchased a titian watch worth 40000 rs . it was written 30m water resistance on it. i went to swimming and the water went inside WATCH . i have asked the sales men in the shop "what is meant by 30m water resistance" .. he replied that even when we wash hands the water wont go inside. i dont understand " why will anyone go 30 down inside water for washing hands... and finally he said some idiotic answers. i felt its a time waste talking to such ignorant sales men. its really irritating to here such answers .....

            Dear Sir,

            I bought a spectacle from your shop at FF-31, First Fkoor, Metroplitan Mall, M.G.Road, Gurgaon-122002 vide Sales Order No: TDGU006271 and Invoice No: BAO0003204 dated 08/02/2011. My eye sight was tested at your shop and according to yoursalesman optician's advice, I bought the frame fitted with power visor. I was told that I can wear it all the time and will be able to see correctly. On the said day whenn i collected the spect, I found it was so powerfull, I could not see properly after wearing the same. Then I was told that since, it is for reading purpose only, I will not be able to see long distance. Only I will have to keep the spect on nose bridge. Then I said why didn't you say me this at the begining. They remained silent tried to convince me with their impressive words. i believed them as Titan Eye belongs to TATA Group. After wearing this, my head is reeling, getting pain to my eye ball. I consulted a Doctor, he said, had i bought a prgressive one, then I would have been able to see wearing all the time.Yesterday i went to the same shop. i didn't find the salesman. But optician was present. I asked him why did you made me fool. Why did I spent Rs.7000.00? To get better comfort and good vision insyead you are here to make me blind with my own money. I requested him to replace it with a progressive one. He replied that it can not be replaced since the visor has been cut. I told them whose fault is this. for your wrongfull act why should I suffer at the cost of my own money. I told that what the extra money is required I am ready to pay, please make aprogressive one. he telephoned to somone, then told me that it is not possible. after wearing this I getting severe head reeling eye pain. I am feeling as if slowly and slowly, I am goint loose my vision. With a trust towards TATA name, I thought, their people will be faithfull and whatever they are saying good.Considering spectacle as a lifetime asset that too TATA's, I invested my hard earning money 7000.00. It went burnt within a while by your people's wrong act. Please help me out in converting it to progressive one. I shall be indebted to you till my last breathe exhales out of my nostrills.

              ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO, I HAD PURCHASED A WATCH (1151SLO1)FROM P.M.BARDHAN & CO.DAILY BAZAR TINSUKIA.RECENTLY THE GLASS OF MY WATCH WAS BROKEN AND WHEN I ASKED THE SERVICE CENTRE TO CHANGE THE GLASS THEY REPLIED ME THAT THE SPARE PARTS OF THIS WATCH IS NOT AVAILABLE AND AS SUCH THE WATCH CANNOT BE REPAIRED .
              THEREFORE THE SUGGESTED ME THAT THE COMPANY WOULD RETAIN THE WATCH AND ISSUE ME A DISCOUNT COUPON OF THE SAME AMOUNT TO ENABLE ME TO PURCHASE NEW WATCH.

                hi, my name is swati....
                i went to nagpur's titan service station in dec 2010 which is situated in sadar,nagpur....
                i was given the warranty that if the polish or any thing wrong happened to watch within a year it will be replaced...
                but when i went there it was denyed that no such promise was made by them.
                my watch polish was not in good condition....it got rusted....
                hence it should be replaced or atleast the belts must be replaced...
                finally with some arguements they prmised me that will ask for a belt from mumbai's head office...
                and they'l move futher with their formalities....
                but its near about two months there is no follow up....

                its very bad for their goodwill..... i dint hope this from ttan at all....

                  Titan has this reward program called Signet. Where in points are collected for each purchase and you can "redeem" it as a discount once you have a certain amount of points.
                  I have the Signet card numbered 90558272 under my Name : Ullas K. Pai
                  I have it since 2-3 years approximately and the card has a display of validity as 08/01/2012

                  I have bought roughly 4 watches roughly 3 in bangalore and 1 in hubli in the span of the validity of the card which is still valid. I have produced the card at every purchase and every Titan showroom has confirmed that the points at every purchase has been credited to the Signet account.
                  But lately I realized that this is a sham and the points in my account is zero. And Customer care[protected] Made 2 calls
                  1st call : The lady (located in Hyd) expected me to have every bill of purchase for the points to be added which is ridiculous as it is neither mentioned in their Signet terms and conditions and nor practical to have bills since 2-3 years for watches and more over when every Titan store has taken down my Signet card number and assured that the points are added at every purchase. And she even conveniently told that I should go to each store that I have visited which obviously I can't remember as there are many centers in a city like Bangalore and its 2-3 years for God-sake!! I don't even remember to whom I gifted one of those 4 watches!!

                  Over the second call , the person said the Signet card's issued date itself and the store from which I was issued the card is not in their records??!? This could well be India's brand Titan's wash off on customers. Is Titan's technical system so bad in these times?!?!

                  This can be a clear case where in Titan can wash their hands off saying I dont have all the bills but where is the accountability of an Indian brand like Titan where in the customer trusts a reward program and buy 4 watches thinking his points are added and this could well be the reason for losing market to foreign brands.

                  I would request anybody who takes this up to look into this part of Titan and make sure this is rectified.

                    From the beginning i use this watch only 3 days, after that i have gone to outside the kolkata with other watch for 4 months. After back, during using of this watch i have found that watch was stopped and case was rusted. So, put it to the service centre. After taking one month the watch was back from the service centre with new case. But, from that time the watch is not running. So naturally watch was back to service centre still yesterday (i.e. 31/1/2011 at 2:30P.M.) it was in service center for changing the machine. It was deliver for only 4.5 hours and get back to service centre on 31/1/2011 at 7:00 P.M. with same fault.
                    Now I want to exchange this with a new higher range watch.

                      i have ordered a golden bracelet type bangle of 13-14 grms approximately as per their design for daily wear.& a chain of 8 gms. from tanishq at shivaranjini cross roads, saatellite ahmedabad .they advised that if you will buy 30gms you will get 0.50 gms. for each 15 gms of gold but i refused. when my order was ready i went to collect it was total of 29.950 gms.& bracelet was not for daily wear but heavy like occasional wear.i told that this is not the design i have selected they told that it is looking more rich & they are not going to do that design again so either take this one or select any thing ready from here. my need was daily wear bracelet.which not in ready of my choice & as they have made my order of 29.950 gns which was less by 0.050 i wan't get 0.50 gms coin also.i have to pay for more gold as my order was of maximum 22 gms which was made to 29.950 & making chgs.on that.& get the thing which was not of my choice.

                      i like if i will get the same design of bangle i ordered of 13 gms.because they already have bangle from which they have to design it.or refund on bracelet total amount including making charges by cash or by gold coin.

                        I had purchsed a titan fastrack digital watch model no 4053PM02 on Dec 2008. It has digital as well as analogue display. suddenly today the analogue stopped working, but digital was working. I showed the faulty watch to the service centre at thane. World of Titan ph no 65182153. the service centre there checked the watch and returned it back to me saying that the watch is irrepairable and i have to purcahse a new watch for which i would be given a discount coupon. it was shocking for me to get such a reply from a leading brand like titan. for a re check i visited another world of titan showroom at mulund west where they simply changed the battery and the watch is OK.
                        this was another shok for me.
                        I want to ask wheater this was a step by titan to increase its sales or Titan has incompetancy in repair work.
                        If i would not have doubted than i would have ended up purchasing a new watch whereas my current watch is in a very good condition.

                        Please Explain on such attitude by service centre and take necessary action.

                          I'm Praveen from OMR. I gave my Titan wrist watch to change the glass in Titan Showroom which is in kottivakkam, OMR.chennai-96. They told that they will give it back in two days but when i went there after two days at that time only they searched my watch and told it was not ready. Again they told to come after two days, when i went there same thing happened again. Likewise i went there for third time and the watch...

                          I am writing to you after a poor service delivery experience of one of the store delivering your Brand product of Titan Eye+

                          I had recently purchase a specs for my wife from Titan Eye+ showroom in Kalayani Nagar, Pune. After the delivery of the specs though after a delayed response and I dropped to the store to tighten the specs after 4 or 5 days of delivery. When I handed over the specs to the store keeper he sent the same to fitter to tighten it. However after sometime he informed me that my specs got broken at the time of tightening it. Anyways he informed me that he replace it with a new frame. He said it will be delivered to me in couple of days time. But sorry to say I was informed for the delivery again after 15 days of my rigorous follow up. That to no service information from the said store. After receipt of confirmation that that the specs are ready I went to the store to pick it. On seeing my specs I was surprised to see that lens of the specs bear a scratch. When I said to store keeper how this happened he informed me it was there earlier.

                            THERE IS A DEFECT IN THE STRAP AND THE DATE AND DAY MECHANISM .

                            I HAD MADE A COMPLAINT IN THE CORP. CONSUMER MAIL ADDRESS , BUT STILL DID NOT GET THE REPLY FROM TITAN TILL 5 DAYS.

                            TITAN WATCHES ARE NOT WORTH , BEC THEY ARE NOT OF GOOD QUALITY. ALSO THEY ARE LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT AFTER SALES SERVICE.. THEY JUST WANT TO SELL THEM.... TITAN IS LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS AND THEY DONT HAVE VALUE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS MONEY.... TITAN IS NOT THE SAME ,IT WAS AS BEFORE.....
                            I HAVE GIVEN 2 WATCHES FOR SERVICING, BUT STILL THERE IS NO PROPER REPLY AND ANSWER.

                            TITAN NOW WANTS ITS CUSTOMER TO RUN AFTER THEM, FOR SERVICING.

                              I have purchased 1 wrist watch @7995/- to gift someone from Titan co, dealer named GOLDEN TIME, Nr. Fun Re public,Ramdevnagar,Ahmedabad dated 12/01/2011 & i want to change the dial. I went to the dealar on 14th Jan-11 (Closed) & again went on 15/01/11 i request them to pl. change the watch & give me other dial on same or higher price. But they said it is not possible. I can not understand the policy of a huge company like TITAN.

                              Further, i would like to inform concern person that the response of the persons at GOLDEN TIME was so rude (they said once u purchase that is all over.) & in a way they talked to me that i feel i made such a big mistake in my life by purchasing TITAN watch who has dealers like GOLDEN TIME.

                              I would also like to inform u that i use to wear TITAN watch since when i start wearing watch. I have puchase the 1st model of TITAN EDGE in the year 2002. U can also verify thru your records by my name.

                              I would like to inform you that by this incidance TITAN co. loose atleast 10-15 loyal customers. I have also destroy all TITAN watches in my home.
