[Resolved]  Titan — Titan Obaku Watch Strap replacement going very difficult

Hello Team, I want to replace strap of my Obaku watch but it seems this strap is unavailable. I already tried to search strap at 3 different World Of Titan in Pune. I deposited my watch at Chinchwad Branch for more than 2 months but could not get strap.Titan world guys says that strap is out of stock and they need to order but it has been an year or so I am keep approaching them but not getting any response from them. I have given a complaint on customer care no. and my complaint ID is 708953.I have called to customer care at least 10 times every time they say we will escalate your complaint. But of no use. They have given me one no of higher authority named Rajani who don't receive phone and customer care people don't have any another no. Months back I received a call from this no. ([protected]), and they said within two weeks they will make strap available at Chinchwad branch but still I am waiting for the same. Titan has given a credit note of depreciated value of my watch to me.My request to Titan though you have stooped some models you should provide accessories at least for five years after you have stooped your model.Or while selling those models you should tell to byers that you are going to stop these models and can not provide after sale services.

Same problem and more importantly SAME ADVICE! Watch worth 6000 rs couple of years back and now the dealer is willing to pay 500rs for surrendering the watch as there are no straps alternative! Will never buy obaku or titan for that matter!

Facing the same problem lately for now . went to the so called TITAN showrooms and the only response we got was that straps for this watch are not available and if you have a warranty card we will refund money back with a depreciation -- are you seriously kidding me ??? This and all will not be told at the time when we purchase any product and we only get to know when we get any problems -- seriously a big no for TITAN products from now .

I am in chennai and I have the same issue, I have run around atleast 5 Titan world showrooms and they all dont have the leather strap for my Titan Obaku.

Why is it so hard to get, I really like this watch and want to keep using for the next 5 years atleast.
And FYI[protected] is not working, it answers and drops automatically.
Dont take pride but deliver service.

5 Years back i ahd purchased titan obaku watch from kolkatta in south ex mall. Now i am in Vizag and have visited two titan showrooms here for the strap of my watch but i coud not find one. They say they have to order the strap from the company, in order to do so they need the purchase invoice of the watch from me. Isnt that Ridiculous...i have a watch and i am ready to pay the money for the strap what so ever...what has it got do with a purchase invoice..will u give the strap for free if i get u the invoice!!!. Hi this is suganthan from madurai tamilnadu. I bought this OBAKU watch in December 2012. Now it's October 2016 in between i have changed my strap 1 time in 2014. 2 month before again i gave my watch to change the strap in madurai north veli street branch. They told me that it will take 1 month time to change it because they want to order from somewhere else. Later they told that strap was not available from company and asked me to come and look for someother strap which fits to change and yesterday night a person called me and told sir I'm infront of your home and our company asked to return your watch because of non availability of strap. Without any prior information they came to my home and gave the watch and went away. I dint expect such a response from a corporate company like titan to their customer. I have seen lot's of customer faced the same problem and posted in this. Why can your company take this issue and give support for your customers who are facing the problem? ?
FOR EXAMPLE :
Some motor companies are getting their vehicles back for services and return to customers and lastly Samsung company was supporting the mobile phone which they sold are getting fired across india.
Why can't as a company you think about the customer satisfaction? ?
This will spoil the brand name across all locations of a such big company was not supporting thier customers for long time.

From last three weeks my request for Titan Obaku 9303 watch strap is pending at Kalyani Nagar Pune Titan showroom.
The executive asks for selling the watch with depreciation value as the watch is discontinued.

My issue is why Titan is not supporting the accessories for such expensive watches even if you close the model for sale.
If this is the attitude of Titan for costumers who buy their expensive watches, I fear Titan is A CHEAP BRAND and customers shall not buy Titan watches more than ₹1000 as that's the only price where you won't feel bad if Titan doesn't support you.

I have checked all the showrooms in Pune and almost same reply is being given.

Do you explain the logic behind selling 6-7k watch and not manufacturing its strap? There are so many complaints for strap for these models and you idiots are just copy pasting some idiotic auto reply. Is this a professionalism? If this is the kind of service Titan is providing then whats the difference between buying your [censored] watch and a road side watch?
Same issue .. it seems like there are only auto replies and no action. On the issue ... Such a waste ... Was once a loved watch a d now just can't use it So it's strap is worn off and cant get it changed anywhere... Very sad and bad service from Titan never expected this from. Titan ...

Dear team,

I purchased the titan obaku 9939np01 model 3 years back. The strap broke within a week. I have been following up with titan showrooms in Bangalore as well in ranchi for the strap change. But, I have not got any significant response from anywhere. Since the watch was gifted I could not get it replaced. Could you please help?
P. S I am not ready to surrender that watch. So, if you have any alternatives, please suggest.

I have bought below Watch three years back and I tried to change my strap after one year. I went to several Titan authorized show rooms in Hyderabad and I wasted at least one hour every time. They took my contact details and told me that they will get back to me. I didn't get any call now till. Though I bought this for around 8K, I am using this watch as show piece in my home due to useless and worst support from Titan.

Buying cheap watches is far better than buying the watches from Titan. Don't sell expensive watches blindly in case if you are not able to provide accessories. Unfortunately I bough this watch and vising all the useless Titan exclusive showrooms for straps.
