Yesterday i travelled from Chidambaram to chennai on PYB 595 Ultra Deluxe at 11 PM. Due to heavy rain and poor maintenance of the bus the entire bus flooded with rain water. Just before starting itself driver/conductor knew that problem as they just returned from chennai, and many of the seats were fully loaded with water.
When the bus crosses pondicherry it is horrible situation, so we asked the driver to go to nearest depot and get us an alternative bus. Then we got another bus PYB 617, that too was in horrible situation. There are no adequate and well maintained buses at the depot itself, and no officials are there except the watch man. Then we asked the driver/conductor to call the respective management to arrange an another bus. But they hesistated. Then I raised the call to the complaint center[protected], and informed all the issues at around 1 AM. Then they told to wait till the bus from Madurai reaches the depot at 4 AM.At the end we got the bus at 4.15 AM and reached chennai by 8.30 AM (5 hours delay) and more than 40 commuters are stayed in the depot with mosquitos and many childrens also affected.
We need an immediate action against those buses, then sometime driver/conductor/watchman misbehaves and told that this is how we will work, who are you? why are you asking these question ? even if you raise there wont be any remedy.
We paid 200 rupees with reserved boooking, in order to reach our destination as per our plan. But if somebody will go to catch the flight in the morning, how this circumstance will affect them. Please understand. Give us a good service, atleast provide necessary service for the amount we paid. Was this information helpful? |
