Torrent Power — Rs 4500 Security Deposit Demand from Torrent

My usage amount is Rs 3000 and I've been asked Rs 4500 as a security deposit again while my account already has Rs 1200 as a security deposit. So the total bill amount is Rs 7500 now.
Why do I have to pay the security deposit again and again. What is the use of it. I'd rather keep my money secured in my savings account than keeping it with torrent.
It makes no sense to ask for a security deposit amount which is even more than the usage amount.
Torrent is so smart to add up the usage amount and security deposit and totalling the bill at Rs 7500 so now I can't even pay only the usage amount even if I have to because online payment/ cheque/ deposit nothing is possible. The amount will automatically show as per the bill.
