What is the problem of this company, since it has come, people have been harassed, last time our bill was 1300, now direct 4500 has come, without doing much using it is the limit, why is the complaint of the people not solved?

From the November to March season is of winter and i was using 1 Fan, 1 LED Tubelight, 1 TV and 1 Fridge and everytime bill was coming Rs. 300 to 500 but this time for the November to December 2 month bill is comes Rs. 1300 and January and February 2 month bill is Rs. 1100.

This starts when I went to torrent office to pay for my electricity bill but there was a employee, who was ver rude and doesn't reply properly.

Our meter was changed on August 12, 2022 without any prior notice.

After that, the latest bill showed massive units consumed. We have no change in the consumption of any electrical items, instead lesser power should have been consumed. I registered a complaint with torrent power through their email id. I even visited Torrent office, but received no comfortable response.

I had to pay an exhorbitant amount of Rs. 22, 241 that I had to pay because the officials came twice threatening to disconnent electricity connection, in spite of me telling them that I had registered a complain to relook into the new meter.

I Requested to send a professional to get the new meter tested, but received no proper response.

My connection on the name of Beena Dixit with service number[protected] has been disconnected on[protected].
When i contact torrent power in this context, they told me that it is disconnected on the request of DVVNL as there are pending dues on the property with some names that does not even exist and requested me to visit DVVNL regarding it.
When i visited DVVNL they told us that we need pay the dues regardless...

And now tell me how and why you guys are charging me bill of almost 2000 rupees every month when my consumption is too less, I just have 2 fans, A TV, A fridge and 2 tube lights. You think my consumption is justified with this amount you charging??? My friends have AC running 5-6 hours daily they get a bill of 2500 or 2600 now tell me how the heck this is happening with my bill then. Come visit check your meter and answer me.

Almost all torrent meters have been tampered to reduce the reading.
Please send a team to check very strictly each and every meter.
Some are using direct connection to avoid meter readings. (Awing ground floor room no 3).

My electricity metre was replaced around 28-29 Aug 2022 and excess bill was generated without any proper meter reading.
I registered the complaint and was assured that will be compiled in next bill but instead of compiling, company is asking me to pay the non serialised reading amount.kindly help.

The meter reading of tottent meter is way too much as compared to actual consumption since past 3 months.

Always my bill was 800-900/- but from last 2 months My bill is 1600/- 1700.

My usage amount is Rs 3000 and I've been asked Rs 4500 as a security deposit again while my account already has Rs 1200 as a security deposit. So the total bill amount is Rs 7500 now.
Why do I have to pay the security deposit again and again. What is the use of it. I'd rather keep my money secured in my savings account than keeping it with torrent.
It makes no sense to ask for a security deposit amount which is even more than...

My name is Syed Wasi Haider Rizvi. I have purchased a house in Dayal Bagh on 9th June 2021 at
House on Part of Plot No.-152, Part of Khasra No.-355, at Jaganpur Mustkil, Agra jointly with my wife
Duae Zehra Rizvi. Since there were some 11 KVA lines over the house. I visited the torrent office, Sanjay
Place, Agra. I received a quotation from Torrent Power Ltd. of Rs. 1, 58, 408/- (Rs. One Lac Fifty Eight
Thousand Four Hundred Eight Only) to shift the line from my house. I have made the payment of Rs.
1, 58, 408/- on 27.05.2022 vide receipt No. 20868363, Invoice No. [protected] as demanded by Torrent
Power Ltd. vide cheque No. 479454 dated 26.05.2022. I visited many times Torrent office regarding wire
shifting status from my house, but all the time I was intimated that it will take time. Suddenly one day I
visited the house and saw that some wires have been shifted. My neighbour has informed me that some
persons from torrent have removed/shifted the wire from my house. I did not receive any call or
message from torrent Power Ltd that wire from my house is being shifted. But two wires have not been
shifted. I have to construct some portion of my house on first floor, but some wires are still there over
my house. Now I don't understand what to do, I have not received any satisfactory reply from Torrent
Office, Sanjay Place, Agra. I request you to please look into the matter and do the needful. I want all the
wires to shift from my house.

Hi,

This is Abhishek Suri S/o Lt. Mr. Vinay Kumar Suri B 43 New Agra, Behind Chungi School. CONNECTION NO.[protected]

This is application is herewith to rectify my billings since Jan 2019 till Date. I visited the customer service desk as on Saturday 3rd September 2022 with token no. AC0056 to the representative girl sitting there stating after seeing my bill that the load allighned is 4.4 KW in the metered connection and has been automatically increased to somewhere 5.5 KW APPROX as per the requirement since 2019 and not decreased since then wherein the consumption is less than a limits of 2 KW. I asked if the load increased automatically without informing the customer then I paid the penalty charges but it should also be reduced automatically if not in consumption, she refused and said that is is system generated and untill unless we ask to do that they will not reduce to its original 4.4 KW.

Finally we ended up at nothing and there is no one to listen thereof and I am bounded to right this email to kindly AUDIT MY BILLS since Jan 2019 till Date and specially from JAN 2022 TILL DATE AS the bills are normally going high insurers every season without my garages increases in house as they are reducing day by day for eg. I was using 2 AC before and now I am using only 1 AC and that to rare often in summers.

Requisite to kindly adjust the billing amounts and credit the rest into my account.

Actually my plot is in Agra UP from there the Overhead HT Line is going through my boundary from which the construction is not to be held so i have register the complaint in torrent power ltd. for shifting that line. But the estimate that was made by the company is very high or not upto the UPERC cost data book afterwards i have also communicate this with company's concerned department but they just ignoring me or not resolve my issue.
